This guy is honest, hard-working, and tells you like it is for your vehicle. Reasonable price, and gets the job done well.

Great service, quick turn around. I only had minor repairs done but left satisfied. I also found his prices to be very reasonable.

Every experience I've had here has been fast, friendly, and, most importantly, honest. On more than one occasion, I've come in thinking I was due for an oil change, only to be told that because I don't drive very much, my oil was still in good shape and didn't need to be changed yet. Many businesses would have happily taken my money and performed unnecessary work without saying a word. Instead, they were upfront and honest, and that kind of integrity is hard to find. Their honesty has earned my trust, and they've gained a customer for life. In a world where it often feels like companies are constantly looking for ways to nickel and dime their customers while providing less and less value, it's refreshing to find a business that genuinely puts people first. Thank you for bucking that trend.

The convenience of not having to get off your car and wait around for hours like at the dealership…read moreis why I keep coming back. The cost is comparable to other oil changing places and less than the dealership. You also don't have the annoying sales person, but they will notify you of other services they offer and/or if you need them. If you sign up for emails they frequently send coupons which is an added perk. The staff is kind, efficient, and deliver great customer service.

I really wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt because I've trusted them with my car…read moremore than once... but this is now a pattern. Most recently, I went in for service and about two weeks later my car started smelling like gas whenever I turned the AC on. That led me to finally check under the hood myself -- and what I found was honestly shocking. My engine air filter was completely missing, and the air intake hose wasn't even connected. It was just sitting on top of the engine. Not secured, not attached to anything -- just left there. That alone could've caused serious damage (or even melted from engine heat). So for the past two weeks, my car has been: * Pulling in unfiltered air * Running with an incomplete intake system * Potentially circulating fumes into the cabin That's not a minor mistake -- that's basic, critical work that was simply not done. What makes this even worse is how it was handled when I brought it up. There was no apology, no accountability, and the mechanic actually raised his voice at me when I asked about the missing filter. I stayed calm the entire time -- I wasn't disrespectful, I just wanted answers. This also isn't my first issue here. Back in July, I came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation and was upsold on additional services that ended up messing with my tire pressure sensor. When I addressed it, I got the same response -- uncertainty, deflection, and no accountability. At this point, it's not bad luck -- it's a pattern. I don't mind paying for good service, but I absolutely expect my car to be returned in proper working condition. Between the lack of attention to detail, the safety concerns, and the way customers are treated when something goes wrong, I can't recommend trusting this location with your vehicle.

The waiting room is really nice, they have coffee and tea out while you wait, and they make sure to explain everything. Their pricing has been fair thus far and they always get the job done . Another really great highlight is that I would say this is a very woman friendly shop, you do not feel like they are trying to scam you or talk down to you and that is huge for me . Service gets a round of applause especially because finding places that treat you like a human are becoming more and more rare. I can't say enough positives.

Two recent service appointments stand out for me: The first was when an employee tracked mud all over my floor mats during a routine oil change. I keep my car clean and this was just rude. Very hard to clean out. We brought it to their attention and they offered us a free oil change. The second issue was when an inspection revealed an issue with my gas cap. There was no attempt to offer to order this for us or go above and beyond, just a failed inspection notice. It's just a huge contrast to the way this company earned our loyalty when we first moved to Pflugerville. Perhaps times have changed and it's harder to attract and retain good employees. Unfortunately that will trickle down to not retaining good customers, too.

But this was fluid service, (the nasty stuff) trans fluid flush and fill, brake fluid flush, rear differential drain and fill, + my AC wasn't cooling as well. I did my homework and gathered about 5 estimates for this service from local shops and Toyota dealerships. Prices were coming in anywhere from $1000 - $1500. I stopped in at Christian Brothers in Leander on Sonny Drive and spoke to Brandon. He text me a written quote, which came out about half of what the other shops were asking. They also give a "Veterans/First responders" discount. Their work was professional, and they communicated with me all the time. They sent a video of a free service inspection of my truck, pointing out any areas of concern. I think I've found my back up mechanic for anything I can't do or just don't want to. Thanks Brandon and the team at Christian Brothers in Leander. My truck drives straight and the AC works like new. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

UPDATE to owners response (Check Photos):…read more I strongly dispute the claim that my vehicle had "years of neglect." I have documentation showing I received consistent oil changes and maintained the vehicle. If Christian Brothers is going to make that public statement, I am requesting that you provide the specific records, dates, inspection findings, and supporting documentation you are relying on to claim neglect. My concern remains the same: I paid for major repairs, the vehicle failed shortly after, and my concerns were not meaningfully investigated. I am not asking for assumptions -- I am asking for documentation, accountability, and a fair resolution. The central issue is the timing. I drove my vehicle without engine failure for months before bringing it to your shop. After relying on your diagnostics and authorizing nearly $4,000 in repairs, I picked the vehicle up and the engine failed within a day. Given that timeline, attributing the failure to "years of neglect" without supporting documentation is an overreaching conclusion that appears designed to shift blame rather than address my concerns. I repeatedly informed the shop that I was preparing for a long trip and wanted everything thoroughly checked before approving repairs. I was told further diagnosis could not be completed until the turbo work was done. After the repairs, I was told the vehicle was good to go, which led me to believe all necessary inspections had been completed. The engine failed within a day of pickup, which is why I continue to question whether everything was properly diagnosed before the vehicle was returned to me. _____________________ My experience with Christian Brothers Automotive Leander has been extremely frustrating. I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for major repairs totaling nearly $4,000. Before authorizing the work, I specifically asked that the vehicle be thoroughly diagnosed and that any known issues or potential issues be identified so I could make informed decisions. Shortly after the repairs were completed, the vehicle developed severe engine knocking and became inoperable. The timing alone was alarming. I expected the shop to take my concerns seriously and work collaboratively toward answers. Instead, I was largely left to manage the situation myself while dealing with towing expenses, rental costs, missed work concerns, and the stress of being stranded with my child. The biggest issue for me has been customer service after the failure occurred. Communication became difficult, and I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than investigated

MTZ had previously worked on her vehicle before. They do great work and in my own opinion they are honest than most places these days. Their mechanic talked with me in person. He told me the worse upfront, basically a new engine. The best hopeful news it was repairable, but they wouldn't know until they went through all the codes and take the engine apart. Basically at 165k+ miles the timing belt broke on the engine among other things. They also told me they recommended to replace the water pump before it went out since it was at the mileage. It a took about a couple of weeks for the entire repair. When I went to pick it up the day they said it was ready. The engine felt like new and to be honest it felt better than it did before. I am going to continue to use this shop for major mechanical needs.

I said if it's not going to be that simple I won't have it fixed because of how much that would be. They told me ac was good just needed to be recharged and fix a small leak. $400 dollars later and my ac still doesn't work and now they want to tell me the compressor doesn't work and they can fix it for an additional $1200. I'm out 400 bucks for no reason. Absolutely don't come here there are cheaper better mechanics.
