The tech told me not to open my legs!? So I sat with knees in bent position and the crease didn't get any laser. She started in a back and forth row pattern on the top left side but then did a brisk pulse down the labia. On the right ride, the tech (Lynn) did not do a "row" pattern and just lasered random spots. Then she hit my racing strip with two pulses and now I have two circular bald spots!!! I'm livid! She didn't pay attention to detail at all. The labia area and crease had zero effect at all. Probably because it was not done thoroughly. Do not go to Skinsational for laser hair removal treatment!

No one closely looked at my face or scars when I came in for the consult. One person looked at my face without any type of magnifier, just across the desk from where i shelled out 2,400 bucks because I was told the treatment works for scars. I will post my complaint nand pictures to as many media outlets possible to save others from the same predicament and to tell how SkinMD remedies this if at all. I'm sure the Neogen Plasma works, but no one should be sold something that has no value to them. Finally, The procedure was painful. The gel used supposedly has anesthetic/ numbing properties, yet it was less than 10 seconds between applying it and hitting my skin with the treatment wand. Maybe because it was Friday at 5pm and the technician was in a hurry to get done for the week that the few seconds to let me numb up a bit were not spared? My eyelashes got singed along with some of my hairline, red raw skin spots resulted and remained raw for 4 weeks after treatment.. Evidently these areas were done "extra" ; around my scars and in random areas that seem more like errors in the procedure than purposeful. The raw skin I don't think healed better with the 100 dollar plus after treatment cream they insisted worked wonders. I hope to get a refund at the least. The only think I think could have improved my experience is better information and details about the healing process and after-care. I wasn't aware that it can take up to 6 months for full healing, which I learned on my own through research at at y follow-up visit. I've also learned more on my own about the vital importance of the compression garment. They mentioned it briefly, but more in-depth details would have been good. I would also have liked a compression garment that fitted me better; I had to alter the one they provided because the shoulder straps were too short and not adjustable. I've purchased another garment to use, and also plan to get a lymphatic massage to aid in scar tissue smoothing and fluid removal. I suggest that SkinMD provide a brochure with detailed after-care information and healing time, and links to reputable websites and videos about healing and self-care. However, I am now being ghosted by this company and am filing a dispute with my bank. I was so excited when I found Flipp salon. I thought they would definitely be able to give me the edgy haircut I've been looking for- a chin length shagged wolf cut. I submitted on online consult form and didn't hear back. A week later I called and left a message. After getting no response and waiting another week I emailed them on instagram and then *finally* got in touch. I had an in person consult with Kseniya and brought photos of what I was looking for, as well as photos of myself with my most favorite haircut. I came in for the appointment and was more definitive of what I was looking for-which was my previous haircut a chin length layered bob with an A line. I showed her pictures of the cut and color and...... promptly had my hair poorly dyed and hacked off nearly to the scalp. I had over a foot and a half of curly hair. After the first cut I realized Kseniya did not understand curly hair and I didn't know what to do. The first cut with my wet hair was at my cheekbone- Do I jump out of the chair with half a haircut? I should have. I don't understand the disconnect with the salon and their Instagram. I was looking for a chin length edgy modern bob for my curly hair. What I got is pretty darn near a buzz cut (she did, in fact, use clippers on the back) and the dye didn't even take at the nape of my neck. It's less than an inch long on the back and 4 inches in the front (when stretched- with the curls it is about 2-3 inches). It's so short in the back that my scalp is exposed and the cut in the front is uneven with the hair longer on the side with the part. It's the worst haircut I have ever had in my entire life and is going to take at least 6 months for it to grow to the length I was asking for. There is no "fixing" this. I am due a refund for this awful hack job and am flabbergasted by the lack of professionalism of this salon- literally ghosting an unhappy customer. Are we still in high school?
