I was excited to finally have my eyebrows and eyeliner done! My first impression of the lounge was of an instant air of relaxation. The shop is comfortable and welcoming. I especially loved that this business is technologically savvy . I received automated appt. reminders, emails and texts. I also loved that I was able to add the appt. to my calendar instantly. I've been wanting to get my very sparse eyebrows tattooed for 10+ years but I didn't have a clue where to go, nor where to begin looking. It wasn't until a girl working at my dermatologist office actually recommended Natalie to me and I was able to see her work first hand on her face; I couldn't even get over that her brows were tattooed because they looked so incredibly real! I immediately called and spoke with Natalie's husband who texted me information over regarding her services and pricing. I texted Natalie back and was able to schedule an appointment with her via text, which I am a huge fan of!!! Anything to make my life easier, please and thank you. Upon arrival, Natalie greeted me and asked me to fill out paperwork. Once I was finished, she brought me into the room to review some of my responses to her questions and had me lay down on the table. She drew on the stencils and had me look at them prior to beginning the work. She also used a numbing cream to help with some of the pain, which quite honestly wasn't even bad, but that's probably because I'm used to being tattooed. The entire process took about 1 hour to complete and I was extremely happy with the end results. The only real pain point in the whole process is the healing time and the fact that you cannot get your brows wet for 10 days... 10 days! It's so hard to wash your face without getting your brows at least a little wet. A couple of months later I rescheduled another appointment for a touch-up and this is mainly because I had hardly any brows to begin with, so Natalie did tell me that at least 1 or 2 more touch ups would be required to get the full effect. I haven't gone back in for my second touch up yet, but I will be scheduling something soon because they are starting to fade a bit. One thing I think is important to realize is that Natalie is not "tattooing" your brows, she's microblading them, which is completely different than using a typical tattoo gun. Microblading is semi-permanent, unlike a tattoo which is forever. So chances are that you will need to go back to have them touched up, sooner rather than later. The good thing about this is that she only charges a small fee for the touch up's as opposed to the larger sum it costs the first time around. Natalie is very friendly, professional and great to talk with. The hours spent in her chair felt like minutes with her because we always found something to chat about. Her husband is also very friendly and efficient. I'd highly recommend going to see them if you're looking for any permanent, or semi-permanent, make-up done because you won't be disappointed! read more

Took my mom here due to her wanting to get her eyebrows tattooed for my wedding. My siblings and I were very hesitant about tattooed eyebrows, just because they don't look nice at all. My mom is almost 70, so we were also skeptical about her being able to tolerate a tattoo. Found this place thanks to Yelp! My mom, my siblings and I were very satisfied with the results. Besides the fact that it looks natural, it's semi-permanent which I think is a good option. My mom also said that it did not hurt at all, and it took about 30mins. I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do, but my brows did not come out nice at all. Like another review here mentioned, my result did not look like what she posts on social media. The wrong color ink was used and the shape wasn't all that great. My brows turned pink within a few weeks after my initial (and only) session. Apparently that happened because of the color line she uses. I ended up going to another artist recently and she was able to fix them. Natalie claimed she did my brows but I distinctly recall the woman working on my brows saying "she worked for Natalie". Also, the dry healing method she had me doing made my brows scab up really bad and those scabs took almost all the pigment away with them. I followed all aftercare instructions properly. Heavy scabbing isn't normal, I was recently told. I really wanted to love the work but I couldn't. read more

I went to Natalie for about a year and a half for my eyebrows. I was happy in the beginning. In that time, I've had 4-5 touch ups. My latest touch ups were on 3/23/21 & 4/22/21, and my eyebrows STILL were not identical. I had another scheduled on 6/7/21 that they canceled on me and now that I know what I know, I'm SO glad they did. She said I could have as many touch ups as I needed and that it would cause no damage or issues. I now learned this is completely wrong. I went to get a consultation from someone else because my eyebrows (after ALL these sessions) still do not look identical. They're very uneven. They had different shades of color. The lines are not even. At the consultation, I was told I now have permanent scar tissue because of the excessive micro shading that was done. Because of this, the color won't hold to my skin. I now have to wait at least 1 year, hoping I can get them to fade enough and trying to repair the scar tissue to have them corrected. I thought I did my research before choosing Natalie, but I was wrong. read more

I got a chemical peel done, was the worst experience I had. The facial did nothing for my skin & when i contacted the this place all they offered me was the SAME facial for $150. I'm not one to normally write bad reviews on any business since I myself work for a small business... however I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in Natalie's lack of response when just after a few months of getting my eyebrows done I felt as though I needed to get a touch up done. The charge was $300 for my brows and I gave a tip of $60. A touch up would be any where from $30-$50 and I was okay with that but after contacting her on Instagram, snapchat, Facebook and phone she NEVER answered me back. Yikes not sure why their is even one bad review on here? Please do not let it effect your choice! She legit is the best in Rhode Island to go to! Do your research and peep her clientele!!! It speaks volumes. I had my brows done by Natalie herself back in summer 2016 and received a touch up a month or two later a full year went by and I had them touched up in certain spots. That was all! All three times I went were great, it was exactly how I imagined they would look in my head. Always painless and never waited past my appointment time. As others have stated, Natalie's work is COMPLETELY different than what she posts on social media. I waited for a while and was early for my appointment wasn't asked if I wanted anything and it wasn't busy. Natalie had her kids with her in the studio which was weird and Natalie is like a chicken with its head chopped off. Extremely scatter brained. I showed her photos of what I wanted and said I wanted hair strokes, NOT color blocked. She even repeated it back to me of what I wanted. My hair was Reddish brown when I got my eyebrows tattooed and is normally brown. She asked if I wanted them to match my colored hair and I said brown is fine. She mixed a red and some other color anyway and it wasn't even close to matching. When she was putting the numbing cream on she joked and said 'Oh I hope this isn't expired'. WHY WOULD YOU EVEM JOKE ABOUT THAT. To be honest I don't even think it was numbing cream because it DID NOT WORK. I felt every part of it. I even told her and she gave me a stress ball. Uhh sorry but if your client is in pain shouldn't you maybe stop? Or get a different cream?? I don't know how the fuck she has her license. She's terrible and doesn't understand anything and is more concerned with anything but her clients. read more

DONT TRUST THIS SALON WITH YOUR FACE!!! i would give anything to go back in time before coming to this salon and making the mistake of getting my eyebrows microbladed! Results look nothing like any of "her" pictures on the page, terrible customer service that worsened when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Went in to get a service done and explained to Franci specifically what I did and did NOT want, I even showed her pictures. She didn't pay much attention and rushed me into the chair. She then did whatever she wanted anyways (without measuring or letting me approve the shape she just started tattooing) at the end I told her I was displeased and she called in the owner to translate (apparently she couldn't understand me the whole time I was explaining what I wanted??) and they just rushed me out and told me to wait for it to heal. Well they've healed and they are discolored, uneven, and carved deeply into my skin. I went to another salon in Boston to have them looked at since this salon just wanted to dismiss me, and they said they were done with an incorrect blade and the technician had much too heavy a hand. I've been trying to get my money back so that I can pay for removal (which will end up costing at least 1000) with no luck and the owner Nathalie is extremely rude and defensive when I tell her i don't like the work that was done she just tells me "she will contact her lawyer" what a terrible business practice, do not go here!! read more

I give this place a huge thumbs down! Take $300 and rip it up! I had my eyebrows done by Natalie. I had 2 very small gaps in the front of my brow near the bridge of my nose. I clearly stated all I wanted was those gaps filled in as I have to fill them in daily with an eyebrow pencil. 3 weeks later, not only did she made my eyebrows larger which I stated several times, I did not want; Also, those gaps which brought me there are now BIGGER! I called her and she stated that for MORE Money$$$$ ( after paying $300 for 45 min), I could come in and have a touch up! A touch up within 3 weeks of this Permanent makeup procedure!!!??? She then bombarded me with insults and claimed I should have known it wasn't permanent! Hmmmmm Your business sign says "Permanent", Your business card says "permanent" and the docs I had to fill out all say "Permanent"! I would never go there again.
