It was more expensive, but I wanted to give it a try because it was a friend of friend. I regretted it, and went back to Laura. I also had it done at Trade Secret a while ago too, the lady there put the lashes under my lid and it was poking my eyeball! Let me tell you, there are some really bad places out there, BUT Be Fabulous has been good to me and I love it. I don't think...more like...I can't go anywhere else!

She's conveniently located downtown, her prices are great, and she doesn't lash count (which many salons do). Booking with her is super easy through her online booking system and if you have any questions, she's great at responding in a reasonable amount of time during business hours. Traci is also incredibly knowledgable and can answer any questions you may have to make sure you get the most out of your lashes, including the appropriate time to come back for a fill to keep your lash game at 100!

It asks for your purpose and how recent you had your lashes done etc. She did an amazing job and my lashes lasted so much longer than I expected! When I went for a return visit, she had pulled up my previous data and asked if I'd like the same style which I really liked the ease of pulling up my profile. The price isn't too bad. It's average and expected. It's nice if you have a points card and bonus if you pay cash.

I'm not comfortable with telephones but was able to make an appointment by emailing Lauren. She was able to fit me in on the day I needed. Lauren was great! She makes you feel comfortable while doing your makeup. And the makeup was amazing! I needed something natural and she was able to do it. It looked good on in person and looked even better on camera. When she was done, she asked if I would like anything changed or added but it was perfect just the way it was. The price is $65 for makeup but compared to the $80 I paid somewhere else last time, it was a great price. I would definitely go back if I wanted my makeup done.

Both my sister in law and I drove from the east end all the way to Vaughan to get our lashes done because we got a great promo deal via Groupon and their work on Instagram looked pretty good. Location: it was a little confusing to get here, but if you look for the TB Tax sign in the plaza, you're in the right spot. There is free parking available and it's a fairly large lot. The salon itself is up a pretty steep flight of stairs and there wasn't an elevator as far as I could tell. It is NOT baby stroller or wheel chair friendly. The space itself is small, clean and pretty. I liked the little touches, like the glitz on the hand towel in the bathroom, and the huge fluffy pillow on the couches. There is no separate area for waiting and treatment, so if you're shy about being beautified with a possible audience, be warned. Mind you, when we visited, there was one other girl finishing up before us and we basically had the place to ourselves. This was great because I had to bring my 8 month old daughter with me and she is a giggly little thing that babbles quite loudly some times. Nicole did both my lashes and my SIL's lashes, although she received an HD set for a 20$ upgrade fee. It was totally worth it if you have a lot of lashes because it looked fabulous on her. I have much shorter and sparser lashes so I stuck with a more natural look. The thing I loved was that I literally just said, "Hey, I just don't want to wear mascara on vacation and still look bright eyed in photos..." and she just knew what to do based on my lash length and eye shape. I also wear glasses so it was important that I didn't get cartoonishly long lashes that bumped my lenses. The lashes were soft and didn't feel stiff to the touch. I left with a little pink pouch with some aftercare instructions and a pink mascara wand to keep the lashes brushed. The lashes held up pretty decently without any refills, even after about four weeks. I've always been pretty good about lash care, but this vacation had been pretty hectic so I hadn't brushed them as much as I normally would and they still looked full, albeit a bit tangled by the end of the day. I'd say they looked pretty good at up until about the six week mark, after which there were just too many lashes that had fallen off. This, however, far exceeded my expectations. Overall, I'd recommend this place, particularly if you live in the area. I don't think I'd be returning regularly only because it's such a trek from my place, but Nicole did a great job and knows what she's doing when it comes to lash extensions.

I also didn't get aftercare instructions. I got them waxed at 10am and this pic was taken at 8pm. My skin is sore and red. Some say it is normal and others tell me that the wax was too hot that's why my skin was ripped. Looked nice though before the pain and redness kicked in. Hope it doesn't get infected!!
