The birria pizza is loved by the whole family and the staff and owner are super nice and friendly.

The pie here is the best. The sauce/juice that comes with it is also banging! I take a large one home and maybe eat 2 slices at a sitting. Then I throw the pizza box in the fridge. When I want two more slices, I set the Ninja Foodie to 325 degrees for 15 minutes and I heat up some of the juice in the microwave in a bowl. BINGO!!! Beef Pie Baby!!!! So good!!! I love it. Had carne asada plate, meat was yummy all fat and nerves like chewing a sandal. Waiter wearing slides his button up shirt unbutton. Terrible attitude after my husband helped him to a soda from fridge. They don't have a sign of them charging a fee for using a credit card. read more

I don't think I can ever go back to eating the regular shmegular tacos. I ordered the tacos birria. It came with 4 of the best tacos I've ever had, 2 salsas (both were amazing), and a cup of the consome (broth they cook the meat in) to dip. I would've posted a picture but I ate them too fast. During covid we had to get their food to go and I was literally salivating the entire drive home because it smelled so good... we got home and the tacos and consome were both still warm. This place was amazing, and it's just going to get better! The new owner is super friendly and very accommodating. Three of us were there for the increasingly famous Birria Pizza, but one of our friends is pretty picky. The owner pretty much offered to customize anything, and brought him some delicious steak tacos that he thought were REALLY good! Then, there was that Birria Pizza. OMG. This thing is downright dreamy, piled with the Birria meat which was perfectly seasoned, plenty of cheese and the crispy tortilla to cap it off. This enormous creation is only 20 bucks! It also comes with fries which I wasn't expecting to be that great, BUT THEY WERE. They were battered, super crispy, and flavorful. They are the perfect compliment to the pizza and consumme. The owner is working on a liquor license now, so hopefully our next visit will kick off with a delicious margarita as well! I can't wait to go back! read more

We used to go to El Águila all the time, and we loved it, so we're glad this space is being occupied by another great restaurant! We saw reviews online, and they matched the expectations. This is the second time I have been to this restaurant for a Torta ahogada and each time they have been out of bread they lack preparation in order to maintain the demand, especially when it's the "special" for the day. This time I decided to stay and ordered birria tacos instead. As I spooned salsa into my tacos I found a hair in the salsa, I pulled it out and called the waitress over informed her I had found a hair in the salsa if she could give me another one. She said yes and took the salsa from the table looking to see if she could find the hair, not once did she acknowledge or apologized for the incident. Food was okay, lacked flavor. Tacos de birria lacked flavor and the stench of the food stuck to your hands minutes after touching it (not in a good way). Their website said they close at 9 but we were rushed from the minute we got there at 7:20. Tortas ahogadas were not any better, basically tortas drenched in plain tomato juice. im giving this restaurant a 3star for its food its really good. thats been said i had order large orders where they wont accept them and was told to order and pay for them days prior as i was trying to get it for a family event that was a spur of the moment and it felt like it was a decent amount but not to be refused. i have eaten in and there was a young lady that didnt even come to see how we where doing once or food arrive and when i ask for the check she said u have to come up to the front was charge and no receipt was given, when i was waiting they had 3 tables leave because they where told that they had a big order and that it would take up to 30-45 min to get their food which i thought was really bad and that they should designate a person for the dine in an the other one for carry out. The tacos de birria are amazing which is why I would order from here at least 2 times a month. I had typically enjoyed my experience with the staff and never had issues with my order until last week. I made a group order for pick-up of 20 tacos and 7 consome. When I arrived at my location to eat I noticed all 9 tacos de birria were missing. I called the restaurant and they had agreed to give me a refund since I could not pick-up the tacos and they could not deliver. When I arrived at the restaurant later in the day for said refund I was greeted by Noelia, the owner's daughter. It took $20 worth of food to accuse me of stealing. It took $20 worth of food to slander my character so the employees did not have to pay for their mistake. They could only give me credit for those 9 tacos; however, what they failed to notice is that the group order I made for 8 individuals was wrong. Only 1 person, who ordered a torta, received their correct order. The group nor I was asking for a credit on the whole meal; we simply wanted a refund for the food we did not receive. We were unable to receive said refund because "[the employees] would have to pay out of their pocket." I do not want your tacos nor do I even want MY money back at this point. What I want is for your employees to treat your customers with respect when they enter your restaurant or order take-out. If you are going to accuse someone of stealing, please have that video available for the customer to see as well. Another great suggestion is if you cannot do refunds, make it clear that you only do credit before an order is placed for pick-up. Finally, when someone does place a larger order, make sure to double-check that order with the customer so they do not need to return to your restaurant for the food, since you do not deliver. May this experience help your business flourish and that other individuals do not receive the treatment I did. A business speaks higher volumes in the way they react to mistakes than when everything goes well. I do, however, praise Noelia for keeping her composure and running the restaurant in her father's absence at such a young age. read more
