His patience & listening skills are a rare trait in todays world that are appreciated when you're heading down the path to an efficient recovery. Zach took what could've been a two-year recovery down to a number of months. Patient and personable, he gave me effective exercises to do both in session and at home, and his deep tissue massage was targeted and broke up the scar tissue. She was incredibly professional, genuinely listened to my requests, and took excellent care of me. In a moment when I was in extreme pain and feeling completely overwhelmed, Kristen made me feel like an actual human being. Her empathy and customer service were a solid 5/5 stars.Unfortunately, the medical care from the actual providers was deeply disappointing. I came in with an acute sports injury after hearing a physical "pop" in my foot, experiencing swelling on the top of my foot, and dealing with severe nerve pain. They took X-rays but didn't bother to sit down, look at them with me, or properly explain a clear diagnosis. Instead, they completely dismissed a severe structural injury as basic plantar fasciitis, handed me some topical gel, and sent me on my way.To make matters worse, they told me it was "normal to work under these conditions"--completely ignoring the fact that my daily job requires heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting of heavy objects. Because they refused to give me an immobilization boot or take the soft-tissue damage seriously, I have spent days favoring my left leg. I have now developed agonizing sciatica from straining my back just trying to hobble around.Kristen White deserves a promotion for her outstanding humanity and professionalism, but the medical providers seriously need to re-evaluate how they dismiss patients with acute traumatic injuries.

Her experience was that Alan Silk and his team would provide me with progressive exercises to not only solve my back issues but that the exercises would also provide me with an on-going means of maintaining a healthy back without requiring continuing office visits as would be the case with a chiropractor. Over the course of a few months of visits, Silk Physical Therapy made my back problems go away completely and my back has been fine ever since. They also helped me with some other minor nagging injury problems. I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life last October and my orthopedist recommended…read morephysical therapy. After doing research, I found Elite Physical Therapy. There are two locations in Providence. My experience was with the 285 Governor St location. There is a huge parking lot and is easy to navigate to when there is no construction. A few times, there was construction and Governor street was blocked so I had to go around it. It was easy to make an appointment. I first came for a consult and then made a plan with Shemaiah on how I can improve. The appointments were scheduled for a few months at a time. After the sessions, I definitely felt my progress improving. Shemaiah is personable and really friendly. She wants to see you improve and will work with you to obtain your goals. Their billing is done by a third party and after calling Elite Physical Therapy and their billing office multiple times, I finally got my patient refund after 4 months of waiting. I am not sure why it took them so long to process the refund and when I asked, they had no answer. Other than the patient refund issue, the space is clean and spacious. After a few months of therapy, my ankle was a lot better and I was able to walk normally.
