I'd like to start off with the fact that the food was absolutely fresh, authentic, and delicious!…read more I had the ribs with rice, pinto beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and plantains. Did I mention that the did was fresh?! Wow! Mmm! My boyfriend had the combination fajita. He made the same comment... sooo fresh! We almost didn't stay because when we entered the establishment, other than the one family that was already seated at a table, there was no one to be found. Just before I was going to walk out, a young man walked out from the kitchen and told us we could sit where we wanted to. He brought menus and asked us what we'd like to drink. After mentioning a few things that included unsweet iced tea and Pellegrino, we asked for the tea. He returned to say they were out. We then asked for the Pellegrino, but he immediately stated they didn't have any. We opted for the mineral water. We were brought a small tray with chips and salsa. Once again, very fresh and the salsa was amazing. I did have to ask for napkins. All in all, I'll definitely be visiting this restaurant again

We ordered Guacamole and they forgot to add to bill. Instead of comping us the miss, they asked to pay separately.. didn't feel right to me. Ambience is nice, ample free parking. BYOB. Generous portions, tasty.. I'll give this place another chance to see if it gets better.

The churros were also cooked to perfection. Whoever was on the fryer gets the "W". Standout as the crispiest yet softest I've ever had. Sauces were all house made and distinguishable. Also had the "Krunchwrap" and Chimichanga and they were on point. Will go back as soon as possible for guacamole (which came out in 30 seconds with crisp, warm chips and two different salsas), wings and churros. We got the Pink Pony Club, Sangria, and mezcal cocktails, all garnished and salted to perfection. Must order the Prickly Pear Margarita which was our favorite.

The attention to detail is where the restaurant needs improvement. Management must take a long look and correct a handful of issues. No reason this restaurant shouldn't be packed on a Saturday night. Pros Food is fresh and the portions are on the larger side Cocktail menu is a winner Restaurant is clean and decorated nicely Shrimp and chicken fajitas were good Birria tacos were good Mexican rice was very good. Cons: Quality control must be improved Iced tea had no tea, waitress stated it comes from the fountain. Birria sandwich on sourdough toast, great idea...poor execution. The bread was soggy when I received the entree. Beans were very watery. Entrees were delivered without the accompanying sides When ordering items were requested and were not delivered Men's bathroom, dirt on the wall in front of the urinals, can someone clean the walls? Bussers asking to pull plates while guests are still eating, why? Management- Please look at your processes and make some corrections.

The kid was craving Mexican food so we searched Yelp and found that this place has good reviews…read more The photos of the food looked good. We decided to try it. There is no parking lot for this place. There is a Municipal parking lot about one block over behind the post office. We lucked out as there was street parking directly in front of the restaurant. We ordered agua de Jamaica. Huge glass for $4.95. I would guess that it's 16-20 ounces. Gigantic. Well priced. We ordered guacamole which was good too. They didn't give us any salsa for the table like they do at other Mexican joints. For our mains, we ordered their mixed fajitas with shrimp chicken and beef. It was about $21 and it was a huge dish. It's not the usually fajitas that I've had at other places. Theirs comes in a delicious sauce which we thoroughly enjoyed. It was a generous portion and the flavors were on point. We recommend it. Our other dish was the El Rinconcito which came with grilled items: pork cutlets, beef, chicken, shrimps cactus, Spanish cheese rice and beans. It was an alright eight. We prefer the saucy fajita dish more. We def plan to go back. Next time, we are going to order their molcajete which is listed at $34.95 so I assume it'll be a huge dish for two based on the price. From the owners description, it Comes with all kinds of meats steak chicken shrimp pork sausage. I'm trying my best not to go back two days in a row but I may swing by for Lunch later. Good is good as is service. Good came out quick and she asked a few times whether we needed anything else. I believe they give some sort of cash discount or charge to use credit card because she asked how I was paying. They add an auto tip of 15% which I didn't mind. Gave her a few bucks more. All in all, it was a good meal. Appears to be a small mom and pop store and I'm happy to support local small business. It helps that the food is delicious too.

I did have a bunch of their sauces and salsas. None really stood out except their green sauce, which was used sporadically. Birria Tacos - These were very good. The consommé was flavorful, while the beef was tender. The tortilla was crisp too even with the consommé added. Elote Corn - This was rather plain. There was only a crema and cotija cheese present. It seemed like chili powder was supposed to be added, but I did not taste or see any. The corn could have been cooked a little better too. Guacamole - This was tasty. It appeared fresh and paired well with the chips given. I really liked the texture of it too. Chicken Flautas - These were deep fried tortillas with chicken, sour cream, lettuce, and cotija cheese I believe. These were solid. The chicken could have been seasoned a little more, but the tortillas were crisp and held up. Choriqueso Con Tortillas Tostadas - This was melted jack and Oaxacan cheese topped with Mexican chorizo over toasted nixtamal homemade corn tortillas. The cheese and chorizo was excellent, with lots of flavor. It did not look the best but tasted good. The corn tortilla was either old and stale or just fried way too long as it was very tough to chew. It could have made for a great bite. Will I go back? Debatable.
