I am more confused than angry about the experience I just had here today, yet make no mistake I am…read morebeyond angry. I have been coming to get a haircut here for years, most of the stylists have cut my hair a few times, and even when I was in the Army, never had them chop off so much of my hair. It is like they just gave me a buzzcut, and at least several months of growth, closer to a year, is gone...will put it this way, that if I were to shave my head bald it would look like it does now within a week or two. I did not ask for this, there was nothing in the notes they keep to indicate this is how I want my hair cut, there was no indication from the stylist this was about to happen, and common sense dictates one would be careful before cutting off all of one's hair...just none of this adds up. Before one says that I let them do it, therein lies the second part of my issue with this business, that they have been increasingly positioning the chair and themselves where no one can see what they are doing while getting their hair cut....they used to never do so, and now it is routine. I could not once during the process tell what she was doing, and once I could get a glimpse at all it was far too late. It is not like there is any way to put my hair back. Going back is a moot point, because it will take several months to get my hair back to where I would want it. On all levels they have removed me as a customer, and they will not receive anything from me any longer....there is nothing they can do to win me back, as it is not like a free haircut or discount or whatever can put one's hair back

Why 5 stars? Because it's hard to imagine taking our son anywhere else…read more --- --- --- Our two year old, like most two year olds, does not enjoy getting his haircut. So if you're going to take him somewhere, it better be a place where there are fun things like cars for seats and TVs with unlimited cartoons on them. And most importantly, a post-cut balloon on stand by. We just moved to the area from Tampa, where we had a Sharkeys that was practically walking distance from our house. While this Sharkeys is a few miles away, I think it will be our to-go until he can appreciate the finer things in life like a straight razor cleanup at a barber shop. This particular haircut was probably the one he disliked the most, for whatever reason. And the person who cut his hair (her name escapes me, unfortunately) dealt with our crazy toddler like a champ. His crying and rapid movements really did not phase her and his cut ended up looking great. He pretty much cried from the moment we put him in the chair until he was given the aforementioned balloon to celebrate the torture being over. We'll be back and hopefully, we've seen the worst of his outbursts during haircuts.

Rather than calling and asking if that was ok, they just changed it. I called and asked why and they said that she had "gone home for the day".
