You can just see how crisp and fresh the shrimp is

Spacious and lovely establishment. Incredibly gracious wait staff. The young lady waiting on me was so attentive and not invasive the entire time I was there. She catered to my every need. I ordered the tamales with chicken, and it was quite full of meat and very satisfying. Then I ordered the shrimp fajitas, and what's important to know is that you could tell their shrimp was definitely fresh just by the way it curled up when cooked and how it was crisp when bitten and not soft. The sauces used to make the fajita were delicate and flavorful, not overpowering. I was given a considerable amount of tortillas and the rice and beans were not too dry and not over seasoned. Delicious meal for a wonderful price with an incredible attention to service. Apparently, there are multiples of this establishment in the Bronx. I've gone to three of them so far. Consistently good food. And one of them, which I can't remember where, actually had live music at night.

I love the food here! The guac is always fresh and delicious! I always opt for the tacos when I go because they're so good but this time I pushed myself to try something different and boy was I happy. I tried their enchiladas with salsa verde and I ate every last bite. That green sauce hits! My sister really enjoyed her chicken quesadilla too but, kept dipping into my green sauce. They make really great drinks and I always go for their tamarind margaritas with tajin. They always make it so well compared to other places and I always make sure to get it when I'm there. We decided to get desert and the churros were made fresh and hot and complimented the vanilla ice cream real well. The service is always on point. I always feel tended on and the waitresses are always making rounds to make sure there isn't anything you need. On the weekends, they have karaoke and singer playing different Spanish songs. It can get a bit loud between the karaoke and bustling of patrons, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this isn't exactly the place but overall, this is a great local Mexican joint in the Bronx.

Service: went on a Friday night, no wait. There is a live singer. Service is pretty quick, for two people we were only there for an hour. Food/Beverage: we ordered the mango margarita & blue Hawaiian, both which were fantastic and not too strong. We dinner we ordered the bean sopes & the Enchiladas de Mole, both which were great! The salsa served with the chips was also fire Ambiance: I didn't like how loud the singer was because I couldn't talk to the person I came with. Cute restaurant otherwise with street parking

Good vibe and on 204th street in the Bronx. I've been to the other Estrellita restaurants and this one is just as good. The place is clean and well lit with lighting. The staff is very nice and the service was quick. The drinks I ordered were very good. I ordered the yellow rice and beans with chicken which is my go to when I first go anywhere. It was all good. I can not complain about anything. It was amazing.

Really good spot if you want to be in a humble place, low key. Great costumer service, waiter knew what to suggest, music not loud, which made it perfect to conversate and food was delicious.

Food sucks (no offense) I'd rather go to Chipotle. AND ITS SO EXPENSIVE, easily a pass for me. Not good Mexican food. Just being honest

Wow! The dishes were delicious and innovative! Our server, Daniel, was spot on with his…read morerecommendations - we enjoyed our cocktail (La Guelaguetza) and sharing the generous portions of Esquites (corn), Tlayuda (large tostada), and Enmoladas de pato (duck confit). As a corn lover, the flavor note of Esquites just reminded me of elotes that you get from a street vendor in Mexico. The Tlayuda was huge! We added carne asada as our topping, and it turned into an huge entree that's shareable between two people. We finished our meal with the most flavor-intense dish - duck confit enmoladas. Despite not being a crazy mole fan, the mole sauce that was drizzled all over the enmoladas had a perfect balance of rich notes with a bit of bittersweet chocolate undertone. The ambiance was great with both indoor and outdoor seating. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, and the restaurant made it so special for us by providing a menu printed with "happy anniversary" with a note card and glasses of sparkling wine! This is a gem that's not to be missed!!!

We were in the area and just went in because Mexican for dinner sounded good. Once inside, I saw…read morethe Michelin sign and slowly realized as I looked around the restaurant that this was not a casual Tex-Mex kind of place. By then the hostess had already seated us and I was immersed in the excellent service and the delicious aromas from the open kitchen. My husband lived in Mexico City for a time and he said this was some of the best Mexican food he'd had. The corn vermouth was delicious and I'd never heard of sotol so tried it in a paloma, which was great. Definitely will go back again, but only once my wallet has recovered.
