I live in White Plains but work in Midtown, I know there are dispensaries closer to where I live in Westchester but for convenience on a daily/weekly basis I use Etain in Manhattan as it's close to my place of work. I find this location is easy to get to when I commute in to Grand Central, as it's just a short walk from the terminal. The pharmacist and pharmtech (Sang and Vange I believe) have always been extremely helpful and I find that one of the best qualities of this location is the customer service that they provide on an ongoing basis. I understand that some of the companies take a very medical, clinical approach in how their locations are decorated and how their employees interact with patients, Etain doesn't do this and I find the personal touch to be a significant factor in bringing me back to their location. I understand that companies in New York are selling medicine for very sick patients (of which I am one), but I appreciate being treated warmly and with compassion, not like a disease to be diagnosed and treated. I know there have been other reviews here that take issue with the price, and I completely understand that perspective. I have visited other states with marijuana programs and absolutely get that the price difference between New York and these other states is pretty outrageous. Even within the state I know there are price differences between companies. However, that being said, I think the quality at Etain far surpasses what I've seen at other companies in the state so far. I know there are other companies opening up, and I'll likely try them, but for me, right now, Etain is the best. I'm knocking one star off the review for the price, but if prices come down I don't think this location could be beat in the state. read more

This is the medical dispensary that's available to me and they have a website that can't be accessed unless you're trying to go to Kingston New York I complained about this months ago they want you to go to the location and be disappointing by what they don't have I guess the weed is sold in half ounce and ounce so if you don't like it you're stuck with it. The variety is very lacking. And it sucks that you can't check their website to see what's on their menu especially now that they've closed columbia down and all that's left is rise I don't know where they got Brooklyn. This dispensary is very disorganized, and inconsistent with their products, they never seem to have anything in stock I asked for about 3 stains that all said in stock in the system but they could not find it in the store. the display shows one price but they charge you more b/c the display price is for medical customer. The budtenders/cashiers dnt seem like they want to be bothered, as if I was inconveniencing them. Keep in mind I walked in wanting to buy almost 3oz but b/c they didn't have anything that showed as in stock I only got a preroll. Very bad customer service, the person at the front desk is passive aggressively rude. The pre rolls and flower I got was not that good at all, and the bud-tender hyped up the strain like it was the best in NYC, very disappointed. The Bud-tenders are not very knowledgeable about products, strains or even what they have in stock, they had to go back to check on like 6 different strains I asked for and didn't have any which took significantly longer, and AGAIN THE FLOWER AND PRE ROLLS ARE MID at best, don't let them try to convince you otherwise. This place was great. I've been going here since medical marijuanna was legalized in New York City. Now there's only one place left in the recreational places a flourishing the prices and the taxes are out of control and now this place is closed. I feel a little melancholy and sad that maybe I could've given them more business. Have they been a little bit closer to where I live I would have anyway I'm going to miss them. At this point in 2026 there are only two medical dispensaries in Manhattan that I know of FLUENT is one of them. It's a very pleasant location very un assuming very unassuming I've never encountered a crowd. They offer a lot of rhythm products RYTHM and lately I found one product which is rather overpriced for an eighth which I tried and I'm very happy with.
