    Chai latte

The local coffee shop (which has a second location only a few blocks away but more in the main downtown stretch) offers quite a variety of drinks, including bubble teas as well. I was pretty conventional in my order of a chai latte, which had a mild flavor, bit of cinnamon and other spices but nothing really popped. Many of their other options looked intriguing. They had a few pastries on display, and also appeared to be doing some kind of CSA or something as someone traded in some empty egg cartons for some eggs while I was there. The place is open until 5:30 and looked to be fairly busy right up until the end of their hours. They have a substantial indoor space, as well as a rear patio, cat included.

Excellent place to get your day started! I had a long day yesterday and then had to drive 4 hours to get to Paducah. I was ambitious to think I could drive down to Tennessee today to visit my friends. I decided to come here for coffee based on reviews and an article I found on places to see here. I'm so glad I came. This place is nestled snuggly on 6th Street in a beautiful brick building amongst other homes. It's easy to drive right past it. That's okay. Park nearby and walk. Exceptionally friendly people here. They have non dairy milk too and oat milk as an option if you want that also. This coffee shop boasts their local businesses as well including The Farmer's Market that will be open April 16th, 2022.

AWESOME! Perfect ambiance and the coffee tastes great! Ordered an iced gingerbread latte and a mocha and both were great the barista was also great .. very friendly and helpful. Espresso has the perfect taste not bitter but is rich with a soft nutty undertone ..(best way I can describe) try it! You will love.. very relaxing environment with nice music.. cute decor..

Etcetera Coffeehouse, like its name, is a rather unique and hip cafe. I was spending the day sightseeing in Paducah and decided to get my daily caffeine fix here. Spanish latte was good and reasonably priced. Baristas were friendly and helpful. One gave me a few suggestions amongst the local food scene, which I very much appreciated. I love the art pieces hanging on the walls and painted on the coffee tables. Everything about this cafe is picturesque. It is quite spacious inside with two separate rooms. Outdoor seatings are also available in the front as well as the back patio. I was hoping to get some reading done on a crisp Sunday morning, but it was already bustling with families and young kids horsing around. I'd suggest you come to enjoy the drinks and hang out. It's probably not the best venue for studying or anything that requires a high level of concentration and productivity. Before you leave, make sure to stop by the Labyrinth and garden outside to appreciate more artworks and feel the zen before returning to your busy life.

Rich and full-flavored coffees with some original twists on the traditional blends. Looking forward to checking out the inside when this COVID thing is over.

Best little coffee shop in Paducah Lower Town Arts District. Just a great place to get a cappuccino, tea or just good ole Java. Plenty of seating inside to relax and read while enjoying your beverage. If in the historic area it's worth the few extra block walk down to the arts district to check them out.

Great coffee shop, great atmosphere and wonderful owners. One of the things that Paducah offers that makes me feel at home.

Instead, it ended up being one of the more disappointing bakery experiences I've had. We walked in to a display case that was almost empty and a line that felt more like a suggestion than anything organized. After waiting longer than expected, I ordered a French cake donut--what I received was surprisingly small, closer to a sample than something you'd expect to pay for. The service, though, was the real standout--and not in a good way. The employee helping us seemed clearly annoyed from the start. Basic, reasonable requests were met with visible irritation, and the overall attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. That kind of interaction sticks with you more than the food does. What really added to the confusion was noticing trays of fresh, better-looking donuts behind the counter as we were leaving--none of which were available or mentioned while ordering. Yes, the prices are lower than other places, but the portions reflect that, and the service makes it hard to justify even a quick stop. I can understand people having fond memories of this place, but based on this visit, it doesn't hold up.

This one popped up so I stopped in. I guess there are multiple rooms here, one part is a restaurant and then there is a bakery. I only was in the bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Some stuff is sitting on the counter in the open which was odd and at one point I thought maybe they were samples but they were full sized items so I think they were for sale. Anyway I decided to order a few items. I ordered some kind of brownie. I think it was called the all good bar. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. It could easily go into the way too sweet territory but it doesn't. It's perfect. One or two bites satisfies a sweet tooth. So I took a few bites over 2-3 days. I wish I had more. I also ordered I think it was called a basket. It was pastry puff dough in a rectangle with cream cheese in the center and very thin slices of apple on top. I brought that home and heated it up in our airfryer for 3-4 minutes and let me tell you it was one of the best things I've eaten all year. And I've had some really delicious food this year. I wanted to cry. It was that good. Unbelievable. I wanted to scarf it down and also take my time because I didn't want to not have it. The last thing I bought was a two pack of their iced shortbread cookies. They were right by the register and maybe on sale and I figured why not. These took me back to childhood. There was a bakery near us in Ohio called 'taste and tell'. They had the best iced cookies. I'm 43 and I still think about them. That place closed probably 30 years ago? I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats. I'm both sad and happy that this place is so far from me because i want to be there everyday. I will definitely be back to empty the bakery case and also to try and sandwich or soup or real food too.
