I got my lashes done with Lucie!! She's definitely an expert, and immediately made me feel super comfortable (btw: if you have any photos of the type of extensions you want, definitely bring them as they're a nice touchpoint). I'm not going to lie, I wasn't as helpful as I could have been, but even with just a rough idea of what I liked (general style + number of lashes), Lucie understood what I wanted. The end result is my lashes are gorgeous and I'm in love. They've also been falling out slower than when I get my lashes done elsewhere, so super happy with the result. I am no longer in the area so I am unable to return. ***UPDATE**** I do not know what happened to this place post the pandemic. It is no longer a lash service spa but a total rip off. The person who did my lashes kept trying to upsell me on the service I requested. I asked for classic lash with flare at the end. Instead I received volume lashes clumped together on my lashes, hardened with glue to the point that the lashes no longer curled but were straight. I was asked multiple times if I wanted their lipo service. Why would I come here for a medical procedure with no doctors present? Thats correct, my lash technician asked if I wanted to receive liposuction " a new type of lipo with no recovery time". I am sad to see what has happened to this place because I truly loved my results before. My Classic lash would last for about 5 weeks. This time around the lashes came off within two weeks. Im pretty sure because the volume lashes were to heavy for my very fragile lashes. The glue was clumped together on the volume lashes to the point that they lost shape and did not fan. The glue was on my lash line and felt like glass. So uncomfortable and irritating, something I have never experienced. I've gotten the volume lash extensions with Sue twice now. She has been amazing from the beginning. During my first session she asked me what style of lashes I was looking for and if I knew how to care for the lashes. She did such a great job that most of my lashes were still on at the 3 week mark. When I was looking for a last minute appt, Sue was very flexible and accommodating to my schedule. Lucie did an amazing job with my eyebrows! I could not be happier with them. She started with numbing cream and carefully drew an outline of my brows using measurements and showed me how they would look. She was so patient with me and listened to what I wanted. She made small adjustments to the shape of my brows as I requested so I got the look I was looking for. During the procedure she made sure I was comfortable and numb. Nora is really nice and takes her time! The place is very clean and I'm usually the only customer in the studio~ I get the classic full set and love how it looks walking out. My experience at Eterna was great! I noticed the beautiful, brightly lit salon while I was grabbing frozen yogurt in Federal Plaza. I had been considering microblading for awhile, so I decided to stop in. The receptionist/assistant, Brianda, was very friendly and answered all of my questions. She even went out of her way to send me pictures of the technician's work. During the scheduling process, everyone was super attentive. They returned my calls as promised and were accommodating. The technician, Lucy, is very knowledgeable. She made suggestions for what she thought was best for my brows and they turned out great!! They use a numbing cream which helps during the procedure. The pain was minimal...don't be afraid. She will also do a touch up after 6 weeks at no additional cost. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to Eterna! I got my brows threaded and a hydro facial from Ferry and it was life changing. She spends a lot of time on detail and shapes your eyebrows so nicely (unlike waxing). My face felt so clean and hydrated after the hydro facial for days! She is also such a delight to talk to. I highly recommend going there. When I waited until the last minute to book an appointment at the Wheaton location, they were booked. The owner called me back and asked if I'd be willing to come to this location instead. Got a brow tinting service, which took almost an hour and overpriced for the result I received. The tech was either inexperienced or new because she basically did not know how to draw a straight line and see the clear difference that she made one brow too thin and the other thicker. My brows did not match one another at all and it looks like a kid drew with a sharpie than a professional salon personnel. I asked for a natural look and was given a fake one. If you're a lady you know how hard it is to get a last minute apt for services especially on the weekend. I needed my lashes filled desperately Friday at 3 and before 7 . I've been going to Sue at Eterna every 3 weeks for a hybrid lash fill for the past 4 months. I'm having such a great experience! Sue is so kind and friendly and most importantly, talented! I find the process to be so quick (35-40 mins for refill, 1 hour for a full set) and my eyes have never reacted to the adhesive. The beds are comfortable with blankets available to keep you warm and I always, always, nap after a brief chat with Sue.
