I wanted permanent eyeliner for months before scheduling a consultation last winter with Teres. My features had faded with age, and makeup application became challenging with poor vision. I hate wearing eye makeup anyway; it gets in my eyes, smears by lunch, or bleeds sooner with exercise. Gradually, I stopped wearing it, but that left me looking washed out. So, I researched permanent makeup online, but still had reservations. The procedure seemed unnerving, the results could be unsatisfactory, and the cost was no small thing to me. My experience in Teres's office put those reservations to rest. Having the permanent eyeliner applied was unnerving, but not painful. Teres numbed the lids very well. But, I'm not very brave about these things. I could keep my head still during the procedure, but found it impossible not to clinch my eyelids. However, I got through it, and Teres was very patient. What i don't understand is how she was able to apply attractive permanent liner to clinched eyelids. Somehow, she did. The eyeliner looks great - like a thin liquid liner along the lash line. Teres uses the right equipment for the face, high quality pigments, and has many years experience applying them - all things important for the best, lasting results. Occasionally, I dress up the permanent liner with more makeup, but most days I just apply sunscreen & head out the door. It's subtle enough to stand alone. My face is no longer as featureless, with or without added makeup. And, I'm lovin' life because i haven't had smeared eyeliner in six months. It looks freshly applied first thing in the morning, thru a shower, or a hard sweat. And the cost? Worth. every. penny. I'm glad I saved up for this. If my brows ever fade like the lashes did, they're next. My only disappointment is that I didn't leave Teres's office ten years younger or ten pounds lighter, so i can't call her a miracle worker yet. I got my eyebrows and eyeliner done by Teres back in 2014, and was very pleased! I was finally able to get around to getting them touched up, and saw a woman by the name of Michael had taken over. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when she returned my call within an hour! Between my two dogs, my full-time job, and my daughter's various activities, it was difficult for me to find a time that worked. Michael was patient through the scheduling process, and was able to schedule a time that worked well for me. She was pleasant to speak with, and was able to answer all of my questions with very knowledgeable responses. When I arrived at my appointment, it was as if I was meeting up with an old friend! She even thought to ask me about something I briefly mentioned on the phone, which I thought was fantastic as it showed me she truly cares about her Clients. All of that aside, I am so happy with the way my eyebrows and eyeliner turned out. Michael walked me through each step as she was taking them, and took the time to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. Now that my eyeliner and eyebrows are healed, I can see how great she really did! My eyebrows are very natural looking, and the exact shade I was hoping for. My eyeliner is delicate enough that it looks pleasant during the day, while still being bold enough to spruce up with mascara at night. I am writing this review for my mother who had her eye brows down. In a previous review I commented that they never showed for the appointment. In order to try to set matters right they offered to do the brows for free. I thought this was a very generous offer and without going into the long story of just what a difficulty that missed appointment was on my mother! I thought it was fair. I also said that in that case I would pay to have my mother's lips also done. When we had our appointment, Teres seemed very professional, knowledgeable and patient. But to cut the story short, she did not live up to any of her promises. The shape she drew, that was to be her guide, was not the shape she ended up tattooing. And when we pointed out that they were not even,she made a completely different adjustment then she said she would and made it even worse. And lastly, she explained that the color would be different and it would lighten up to the light brown shade she wanted. The tattoo was done in December and now in the middle of April her skin is still sloughing off and the color of her brows is nearly black. Now I might mention my mother is 78 years old and is losing her eye sight, which is why she had this done. Her complexion is very pale and she dyes her hair a light brown. I'm sure you must be able to imagine how upsetting this has been for her. All in all, this has been the worst experience in my mother's life in a long time. read more

Michael is a magician!!! My fiancée expressed interest in getting permanent makeup after finding this clinic online, but I was so apprehensive about the idea I decided to come along and make sure she wasn't making a mistake. I knew she hated her eyebrows but a facial tattoo sounded like something you do to join a prison gang. She made an appt to see Michael for an eyebrow and eyeliner consultation. After her extensive explanation of what to expect from both procedures, Brooke and I were both comfortable with her proceeding and getting them done that day. Michael continued to explain what she was doing throughout the procedure and stopped mid-procedure to apply more numbing medication to ensure the process was as pain free as possible. She was pretty swollen afterwards, but no more than what we expected/were told. This was over a month ago and it looks absolutely incredible. I wouldn't believe it's a tattoo if I hadn't been there!!! Brooke looks incredible. She gets so many compliments on her eyebrows and is so happy to wake up with her makeup done. She's thinking about getting permanent lip liner next and I support her 1000%! Would definitely recommend Michael to anyone considering permanent makeup! read more

I wrote this review for this fabulous Permanent Makeup Clinic a while ago but just became a "Yelper" and wanted to put my review here also! When I called to make my apt at Permanent Beauty the girl was very sweet I didn't realize they see people on weekends and evenings also so I think google has their hours wrong - they are very accommodating! Anyway, the girl on the phone was very nice and very knowledgeable, unlike other places I called that were kinda pushy and almost desperate for my business. I made a consultation apt and met with Teres. She is also way nice and extremely knowledgeable. What I loved is that she wasn't pushy - at all! She explained everything, showed me pictures and then gave me her card and told me to call her if I had any more questions or wanted to make an apt. Well, I booked my apt that day! I ended up getting my eyeliner and my eyebrows done and I can't tell you how happy I am. I never write reviews but really felt the need to for this shop. So professional! And the place is beautiful! I accompanied a friend when she went to Terese to have eyebrow, eyeliner and lip permanent makeup . During the consultation Terese gave excellent genuine advise on the best look, color choice and answered all questions thoroughly. She has a calm and gentleness about her that immediately makes you comfortable. I observed the procedure and was amazed at her skill and expertise . Her work is thorough, precise and her gentle touch and overall calmness showed what a truly talented artist she is. The end result of the procedure was so absolutely amazing, I felt compelled to write this review. I got permanent make-up done to my eyebrows. My experience was wonderful with Teres. She is very professional and sweet. She gave me lots of suggestions about the shape of my eyebrows. She is very detailed with consultation, she explained each an every step of the procedure. When you change something permanently on your face naturally you get nervous. I had AWESOME experience at Permanent Beauty. Teres Wright permanently etched a beautifully mixed, custom hazel green eyeliner to my upper and lower lids, it matches my eye color exactly. She took much care in making sure I received the topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort, which really wasn't much. She had a very steady hand and I LOVE my eyes, and am very excited about going to the beach in August and not having to worry about smearing eyeliner. Ladies, if you want to look like a movie star then you must go see Michael. My husband says I look the way I looked when we met . I got my eye brows, top & bottom eyeliner and lip liner. Yes, it looks so natural it is unbelievable. My friend get here brows done somewhere else and she is going to see Michael to get them fixed. She loves mine. I had top and bottom eyeliner done a couple of years ago and am so happy with the results! I'm so glad I went to a makeup artist who does permanent makeup, instead of a tattoo shop.
