It took me a while to find the business on here so I could write a review and warn others. I went here when I lived in northern VA so I made the drive because of photos I saw on instagram for the business. I'm not sure how they have good reviews because I left here with completely destroyed lashes. I went for a lash lift and I swear the girl who did them..it must have been her first day. She was fumbling around, didn't even secure my bottom lashes, and I left with burnt lashes. They were a mess going in different directions and looked like hair that was put under a flame and burned. It took me so long to get them healthy again, I tried every product to make them look even semi-normal. I was truly traumatized. The place did not look clean or professionally set up either. I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows micro-bladed, had done it previously but wanted to try a new place. I was hesitant at first, because I didn't know anyone personally who had been to Riza, I also thought it was a little pricey. You'll have to leave a deposit, before the appointment can be secured. The day of the process, she did a full consultation, discussed desired results, what would look good, what would not, etc., she cleaned up the area and threaded it, then finished her artwork. The entire process took about 2.5 hours. I appreciate that she's honest and that she took her time. I absolutely love my eyebrows and have gotten several compliments, some from complete strangers. Riza's is located within the Salon Plaza building next to the Staples. There is plenty of free outdoor parking located right outside and there is even seating outside Riza's studio to wait if another customer is being seen inside. Riza herself is very kind, professional, and patient. I feel that she takes great pride in providing good service to her customers. Her website makes booking appointments simple and she even reminded me about mine (I was a bit confused about the time of it). Threading hurts, but Riza tries to keep the pain to a minimum. She did a great job with my eyebrows. Her studio is very clean and comfortable and I also appreciate that she offers a rose water wipe to help soothe the treated area. read more

Amazing service! I have now been twice and am beyond pleased with the results. It's so easy and convenient to book an appointment, the prices are affordable and my brows look phenomenal. My tinting lasted about 3 weeks and I will def contribute to go to Riza for brow magic So sharing another review updating on 6/20- so about 6 weeks or so again I returned and had ombré powder brows done (the healing process can be ugly -I was warned before hand- but the results are beautiful). Affordable process, minimal pain and now I save time in the morning because my brows are ready to go. I feel more confident now than ever before to just walk out the house without makeup knowing that my brows are done and look full! I plan on returning for a touch up to have them darker, but as is I get soooo many compliments and overall LOVE my enhanced brows!!! read more

Riza is amazing. She did my microblading and lash lift which alone has given me so much more confidence to go bare-faced far more than I ever would have prior. She walks you through the entire process of the microblading from consult to aftercare and makes sure you're comfortable and happy. She really takes pride in her work and her clients which is awesome. I've spent years penciling in my eyebrows and wanted to have something that could be worn natural of filled in for a more dramatic look and she hit the mark! It saves me so much time in the morning which is a huge plus. I highly recommend looking into having a lash lift done by her. Very little maintenance with such a beautiful result! I attached a picture of a slightly more dramatic makeup look as far as my eyebrows go (filled in the tail area) but she gave me a shape that compliments my facial structure and is far better than what I could ever do-in addition to giving me the tuffed hair towards the front of my eyebrows (which were non-existent!) Oh my lord... did I just find my new eyebrow salon? My friends can attest to this, I am picky af when it comes to my eyebrows. I've been going to the same lady at the same sketchy mall for over 5 years now. The mall is so bad that I have to carry pepper spray with me anytime I go. For my own safety and frankly a change of environment, I started looking for a new salon I could go to and still pay the same amount. I found Artissee on Yelp and after reading all the 5 stars reviewed I was convinced that I had to check this place out. Made an appointment through her website, I was confirmed for a 1pm slot on a Friday in less than 10 minutes. I came around 12:45 and they seated me right away. I forgot to catch her name but I am 100% sure it was the owner. She was so sweet and professional. You guys.... she actually used hand sanitizer before working on my eyebrows. Do you understand how many times I can smell what the person had for lunch when I get my eyebrows done.... it's disgusting. What i appreciated even more was that she acknowledged the shape of my brows didn't need to be changed and that I just needed the area around it to be cleaned up. Many eyebrow threaders go over board when you come in with grown out eyebrows and end up making your brows too thin but she did exactly what she said. She kept my shape and cleaned up very throughly around it. She was clean and caring, start to finish. She even plucked the little hairs that grow on my eyelid! I was so surprised that I had not worked with her before because I've been looking for a permanent place I can go to in Rockville MD and as it turns out she moved here from Texas just recently and I'm so glad!
