Unfortunately, I haven't even been able to have a service to provide a proper review, as the booking process is incredibly frustrating. I wanted a cut & color, but when trying to book, instead of being able to reserve an appointment based on the services you want (like most salons nowadays -- hello, it's 2025) or even having a main salon number to call -- you get sent to a page with each stylist's individual numbers. I contacted 4 people, and reached a voicemail each time. I recently moved into town, and was looking forward to being a few blocks away from this salon so I could make it my "regular" spot, but looks like that won't be the case. This should be an easy fix that I'm sure would get you more customers -- do better. read more

Not only is the staff amazing, but the quality of work is untouched! My favorite hairstylist and colorist is Dawn. She will make you feel beautiful and do exactly as you request. What I mean by that is most times you ask Hair Stylist to only takeoff a little they takeoff a lot, Dawn makes you feel very comfortable and only takes off a little. The shop is clean and very today looking and located in a shopping center that has plenty of parking. They also offer an array of products for your hair. You can tell the employees all love working there because they all have a positive rapport with one another which I think helps with the quality of energy during your visit. Especially when sometimes your visits are four hours at a time. We don't currently live in Chicago, but every time we are in Chicago area we will visit the sorelle salon! read more

She really helped me decide on what I wanted my balayage to look like. She was extremely knowledgeable and I could tell she was very up to date on training and techniques. I can honestly say my hair hasn't looked this good in years! She also did a fabulous job styling my hair and making sure it looked great. I scheduled an appointment for full highlights. When I arrived there, I was told that the stylist Olivia that was goin to do my hair was double booked. She had to jump back and forth between me and the other client. In the process, she let bleach sit for too long in my hair that caused my hair burn. Not just that, she missed highlighting the front part of my hair. I had to schedule for another appointment to get the front part done. Of course she didn't charge me again. But kinda irresponsible service to double book. It's been a couple of days I got the service done, but every time I look at my burnt hair, I get so upset and disappointed. read more

I was truly having a major struggle with my hair. I have curly frizzy, uneven hair, and I did a bad color job. I seriously didn't know what to do. I put a call out on Facebook to get advice from other people. Overwhelming, so many people gave me the name of Dawn at Sorelle Salon. I called and talked to Amanda, who could not have been nicer. She set me up with an appointment with Dawn. I have never had an appointment like this before. These two women went above and beyond to make me feel so very special. After much contemplation, I decided to break up with my long time stylist. In seeking a new salon, I came across Sorelle Salon in Bartlett. I called and scheduled an appointment for a color. As my current color was a light blonde and I wanted to go auburn, I was understandably nervous as this was going to be a major change. Well, my fears were put to rest upon meeting my new Sorelle stylist, Isa (short for Isabella). Isa put me right at ease and thru careful questioning and listening, made a color recommendation after showing me color swatches. I was confident in our selection and am I ever thrilled with the results! I now have her cut and style my hair as well as continuing with coloring. She is amazing! read more

This place is a trap, they will make your appointment and if you ask any questions on the phone call about the pricing and services, they will tell you we will provide the full consultation before services. Once you reach there for your appointment, they will try to be friendly and make you sit on the hair dressing chair and will start working on your hair. when you will try to stop them and ask questions about the pricing and what exactly you want, they will start playing with the different pricing and will start showing tantrum and this hassle will not lead anywhere and you end up getting done what they wanted to do on your hair and what they want you to pay. -Owner is a real Bitch -The trainee did my work and they charged me for the experienced person -They left me without properly drying or styling my hair and did my hair as they wanted it to do. I had a spray tan done and Amanda was great! She made me feel completely comfortable. She gave great advice about what color is best for my skin tone and even added some glow for me. She is very knowledgeable and knows what she's doing. I was very satisfied with my spray tan and it lasted longer than expected. My only complaint is the way the receptionist answers the phone. She didn't sound welcoming or happy to take your call. I felt as if she was annoyed to be scheduling my appointment. Was looking for a haircut for my son and I. We found this place via yelp. It had Very Good reviews so I figured I would give it a shot. We did not have an appointment (walk-ins) but were taken care of right away. I didn't catch the young lady's name who cut our hair, but she was very nice. However, she seemed less experienced than what we were used to. The end result was 'ok', but I would not go back to her. My impression is this salon may be ok for a women's hair place, but not so much for guys, at least not with this particular stylist. read more

This review is for the entire sorelle family especially Kaitlyn. This place is the bomb! I effing love every person at this salon. I've had horrific experiences at every hair place I've been so I was very skeptical of this place and of kaitlyn but this girl snapped!!! I went to her on a sat at 11am and i left at 5:30 (they close at 4 on sat but they stayed and kept their salon open for me until I was done, I did not at all feel rushed or felt like they wanted to kick me out). Kaitlyn is the most sweetest and badass person ever. I didnt know her or have seen her work before, I kept questioning her every step of the way and she kept telling me she was a perfectionist and boy was she right. She took her sweet time and cater to my EVERY demand (and i was VERY demanding). She stood for over 6 and a half hours and did each and every strain of hair individually. She then cut my hair and idk if I should praise her painting job or the awesome haircut she gave me. I went to a party the same night and i got over 30 compliments in less than 12 hours. I had random people ask me for her number. While this awesome chick was working on my hair everyone kept coming to help her and give her advice and to check on meto make sure everything was okay. I loved my experience at this salon. My stylist, Issa, did an amazing job. I can go on about how much I love my hair but I would like to focus this review on how great my stylist was! I have little experience with dying my hair, so I came in with a lot of nerves and not knowing exactly what I wanted. Issa walked me through every step and gave me so many options, along with price estimates. After a short conversation about my options, I completely trusted her with my hair. Which is a big step for me considering I have never done anything like this with my hair and all the nerves I had originally walking in. With her patients and knowledge, I ended up leaving the salon with my dream hair. I was at Sorelle for a few hours (which is expected considering I was doing a complete transformation). However time flew since Issa is a great conversationalist. She made me feel at home, offering water, coffee, and snacks. Very unsatisfied! I came in last weekend for a full head of highlights....over $200 later my hair looked awful! My stylist Gabby, put two different toners in my hair so the front end of my hair ended up orange/gold. I did call and come back to get it "fixed". Ended up worse! She did a Mohawk of highlights so now my hair looks bright on the top and doesn't match. She kept saying " oh the lighting in here is horrible". What do you mean the lighting?! You're a salon! Then she wanted me to come back for a second round of highlights in a few weeks (you already messed up my hair once!). I've gotten highlights from other salons but this is by far the worst experience I've had. The price I paid was crazy for what I got! I think I have finally found 'my' salon, I've been there three times now and I have loved my hair each time. I go to Rachel and she really seems to get my type of hair. I have very fine hair and usually hair stylists want to give me layers (which looks terrible on me) and I always have to talk them out of it. Rachel suggested a straight cut and it has looked awesome each time. Her hair coloring skills are pretty darn good as well. She also has some great stories to share as well. I refer her to my family and friends every chance I get and have never had someone not pleased with her work or the service at Sorelle! The new salon is absolutely beautiful and all the ladies are super warm and welcoming. They never make you feel out of place or awkward sitting in the chair. I actually look forward to my appointments because I know I'm in for a wonderful experience and will love the final outcome!
