My credit card was charged thousands of dollars for this item in May of 2022. As of today, September 9 2022, the correct item has still not been received after incorrect item delivery, multiple occurrences of monthlong delays, and ZERO proactive communication . At this point, I consider this fraudulent activity by the company and have no indication that I will ever receive the item that I paid for. I have received both misinformation and extremely poor customer service when trying to work directly with the company. Throughout this period, I've talked to multiple members of customer support, including supervisors, who have not given me accurate information, have not followed up on their commitment to locate the item, and continue to insist on waiting more and more time. Avoid Pottery Barn and its affiliated companies at all costs. They have hoodwinked my family out of our hard-earned dollars and are exhibiting behavior that is nothing short of criminal.

RETURN OF THE WALNUT PANCAKE…read more A couple of weeks ago, I bought a beautiful walnut dining table from Joss & Main. There was only one problem: it was enormous. I had somehow convinced myself that a 54-inch round table was exactly what I needed for mahjong. It wasn't. My friends were practically launching tiles across the table because nobody could reach the middle. By the end of our first game, one of my friends was actually uncomfortable from reaching. My gorgeous new table had become what I affectionately started calling the walnut pancake. It was beautiful, but it simply wasn't going to work. So I called Joss & Main, and eventually I reached Adele in the Specialized Supervisor department. That's where the story changed. Adele didn't just listen--she took ownership. She helped arrange the return and found a smaller, more rustic table that actually fits both the room and the ski-lodge feeling I've created in my home. She understood what I was trying to accomplish, and suddenly the conversation wasn't simply about returning furniture. It was about finding the right solution. Later, when the logistics became complicated, I connected with Tiffany, the Executive Manager on Wayfair's Executive Service team. We had a fascinating conversation about leadership, culture, customer experience, and what I call the last 50 yards--that critical point where everything a company has promised finally has to come together for the customer. Tiffany listened, engaged honestly, and stayed with the problem until it was resolved. And then came Marco and Nelson. "We're the Rebel Team," they told me when they arrived to pick up the table. I don't know whether they gave themselves that name or someone else did, but I loved it. They were charming, funny and kind. They played with my dog, chatted with me, found the tools they needed, carefully took apart my pristine walnut pancake, and made the final moments of the experience genuinely enjoyable. They reminded me of something I've believed throughout my career: everyone who touches the customer owns a piece of the brand. Sometimes the last people a customer sees leave the most lasting impression. Great companies aren't made great because nothing ever goes wrong. Things go wrong in every organization. What matters is what happens next. Wayfair and Joss & Main have some terrific people, and over the course of this experience I met several of them. Adele, Tiffany, Marco and Nelson each played a different role, but each demonstrated something worth recognizing: ownership, kindness, follow-through, and a desire to get to the right outcome. Those are the behaviors strong cultures identify, celebrate and reinforce. The last 50 yards matter--and when they're filled with people who care about getting the customer across the finish line, they can change the entire story.

I couldn't help but notice how beige, white, brown, or black everything was. Literally 0 pops of color. There was 1 green velvet material swivel chair, but other than that, all the couches, pillows, decor pieces, everything were so plain that the whole store was missing personality. I do appreciate the massive floor to ceiling windows so the natural light coming in was phenomenal and really added a nice ambiance to everything as you walk around. The staff was also very kind.

What they don't explain to you during purchase is that the installers are not vetted contractors who don't understand plans, don't allow you to take photos of their poor work quality during installation, will hide cracks in cabinets they cause, and then will ask for hundreds of dollars as a tip and to remove boxes. Customer service is lacking from ikea. I have been dealing with a kitchen that is only 50% usable due to installation for 6 months and ikea stopped responding 4 months ago. A case has been filed with the MA AG office due to this. If you have a similar experience, you can join that case file.

The meatballs is usually their signature dish and we both enjoyed it! They seemed to have updated the restaurant with new tables and chairs and made it much larger space, more comfortable and brighter! That was a plus! The other party did their shopping and I followed , it was well stocked and organized as always then I usually hit AS IS as a last resort and found Pillar Candles marked down to .20 cents ........ You heard me right!!!!! I picked up 30 Tall Pillar candles for $6.00 What a bargain. At first I picked up a pack of 4 small pillar for $4.00 BUT THESE AT AS IS WERE DOUBLE SIZE FOR .20 cents each! So, today's savings was worth the trip! I came home and stacked then in a closet and will enjoy my candle savings !!! Thanks IKEA I might just come back after August Rush for parents buying for school supplies!
