Then in early August one of the love seat recliners would not open fully. Called customer service and was told to send a video of the problem via email and they would get back to me. Took a few phone calls and was promised they would order a new mechanism and send some out to repair the problem. I have now called at least 5 times and they promised me someone will show up and repair the recliner. Each time they say someone is coming they are a NO-SHOW. Their communications is terrible and the do not honor their commitments. As of today September 17, 2026 they have NOT REPAIRED the recliner. Save yourself the stress and stay away from this company.

Everything in this small store is marked and neatly displayed. There's room between most of the items. Price wise it's not bad with some items reasonable and others on the side of a higher priced goodwill -- but better quality. All items seem clean and in good shape. We didn't find anything we liked well enough to buy today, but that's not saying you won't.

Of course not everyone has died. Some people just want to sell a household of stuff in bulk before a move. In any case I'd much rather purchase estate items which are usually of a nicer quality than thrift, at a clean store like this. Also you are not having to drive around to multiple addresses. Everything I saw was in great condition. They had furniture, collectibles, mattresses, house hold goods, and even some clothes. If it makes up items in someone's household, they sell it. A wooden T.V.console was only $25. They had some nice knick knack shelves and I am currently studying my walls to see if they will accommodate them.I wanted to know if prices were firm or negotiable but the man who was working was chatting to someone else and I didn't want to interrupt. Since purchasing multiple items for my home before moving in (I've been living here since October), I've consistently received defective or incorrect products. I've had the wrong sofa delivered twice, a dining table delivered three separate times with defects, and a recliner that arrived looking used with worn leather. What's even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication and follow-up. I've called multiple times asking for the manager, Alex, and sent emails to team members I previously worked with, but received no response. I was also promised follow-up from Dean, which never happened. After spending over $20,000, I still don't have what I originally ordered months later. At this point, I've lost all confidence in the company and am demanding a full refund. If this isn't resolved promptly, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card and continuing to share my experience publicly. I live in a humidity controlled home. Instead of making good on the $250 slat cost refund, since I had bought an adjustable frame and didn't want the slats replaced for fear of breaking again, they would rather have me write a bad review. Poor quality, poor customer service. They do not stand behind their products. Manager's comments are "I can't do this"; "I can't do that". Don't let them fool you! Do not buy from Bassett!
