LL Flooring (formerly Lumber Liquidators) requires you to use their contractor SW Contractors if you want the warranty for their floors. That is when the problems begon The flooring is good but SW Contractors subcontracts out the work. If I had known up front, I would have walked. It took them 31 days to install floors in a 1 bedroom apartment on top of waiting 6 weeks before applying for the required permit. They also didn't show up for the inspection nor would return calls from the building inspector. On the 31st day, SW Contractors called us to ask if we were happy with how the floors look. We went home and found the apartment was a wreck The floors were dirty and had stains on them. Garbage was everywhere. including in our laundry closet. The furniture was not put back even though we left a chart. There was furniture on top of our bed. read more

I made the mistake of hiring the Contractor-From-Hell to remodel my home. When it came time to repair everything that was ruined by that Contractor, the people at LL Flooring really stepped up! They worked with me to get my floors replaced as efficiently and economically as possible. I've heard of Lumber Liquidators for years- through their tv ads and their partnership with HGTV. For this reason, I think I expected to walk into the set of 'Flip or Flop.' Instead I walked into a small, unintimidating showroom. There are many different types of flooring, and trying to decide between the different types has proven confusing for me. I wish LL had more displays that explained the difference between all of these . . . I think I need the 'flooring choice' museum exhibit booth in order to educate me?! I came here a total of 3 times, and I heard the run-through about flooring types repeated more than once for the family members who accompanied me. By the third visit, I 'got it.' I understood the discounted flooring signs, and I knew how to read the displays. Finally! LL offers unlimited free samples. There is a sticker on the back of each sample where you can write notes about the flooring (price, stock status, etc). This is so helpful! The catalog is also laid out nicely. The West Palm location has only certain things in stock, but luckily there was extra flooring nearby if I had been willing to pick it up from Dania Beach or Port St. Lucie. Both of the young men who helped me were very very nice. Sometimes the information they gave me wasn't 100% consistent, but they were VERY attentive- staying with me til the end before serving the next customer in line. I felt very respected. They knew who I was when I called in with my million questions and even asked about my baby. Customer Service is 5 star! LL's local flooring install folks- XD flooring- called me promptly to schedule a measure. The measurer was nice and effective. The labor quote was on point with the quotes I received from Home Depot and Shaw/Price Flooring. I ended up buying flooring from LL because they had the best deal on the type that I wanted- waterproof vinyl plank click style. I have no clue if their flooring is better or worse than their competitors, but hopefully it's decent and will live up to its 50 year warranty. Guess I'll update my review in 2067! Note: there is no seating in the showroom, so if you need to nurse or sit down for health reasons, you're out of luck! Expect to be there a while if you do end up buying flooring, as they need time to load the forklift machine and bring it to your car. read more

Apologies were made and he was sincerely concerned about making things right for our floor install . After a few conversations he worked with our needs and we purchased our floor through him . He assured us that our previous experience was not the normal and after dealing with him I believe that is the case . We are happy with the service we received from lumber liquidators and are looking forward to our new wood floor !!! Thank you Cody and lumber liquidators !! I would definitely recommend! We went to lumber liquidators for a consultation on purchasing a new floor for our entire house . The employees inside the store we nice and knowledgeable and took our information for a in home consult . However When the representative showed up he was half an hour late and seemed distracted and disinterested. When he was finished with the measurements he said we would be contacted in three days with the estimate for installation. It is now 5 days later and still no estimate or follow up . Visited their West Palm location in February and had to cancel a project due to Covid-19. Revisited them on Thursday and they were as proficient as ever. Sara and Nicholas were busy with phone calls, but took time to answer questions, talk to our installer and arrange financing. Helped make a trying time pleasant. Wec previously bought flooring from LLFlooring with excellent results. This time we went to the store and ordered a hardwood engineered wood. The people came when they said they would and placed the floor down. My hard floor was soft. It dented as soon as we got it and I was never told they would not be gluing it down. So now it is squishy to walk on. The color is beautiful but I hate the feel. I have contacted the company numerous times even the owner. Purchase your flooring anywhere but L&L flooring! In April we purchased $13,000 worth of what was supposed to be waterproof laminate. Both the sales rep and the box says waterproof. Within 2 months the entire flooring on the first floor buckled up and disintegrated as soon as any water hit the surface . The second story is doing the same thing . $13,000 in the flooring had to be replaced within 3 months. I have reached out to customer service for over 4 months and that no point has anyone returned my call. Do not shop L&L Flooring ! read more

Went to another big box store. Would not help at all. I walked into this location in West Palm and was greeted by a salesperson named Nick. I told him I needed a ballpark of everything including installation. He said (I can do that). WOW someone who was positive. I picked out a few colors of AquaSeal Laminate flooring. He gave me samples to bring home and gave me a full write up of everything including installation. No surprises at all. I brought the samples home. The installer came to my house within 2 hours to firm everything up and then Nick called me and said the price went down as now they had the real measurements. My wife and myself went right over and made the purchase. 2 days later the installers came and did the job in 2 days. We love our new floor. Sarah and Nick were great and the installer Dennis were amazing. We are so happy that we went there and met these people. Go and ask for them. Fast, easy and honest. read more

Loved the flooring, the problems started when we decided to let them handle the project . If you just purchase the materials from LLFlooring, you will probably be very happy. The Contractor they use is SW Contractors. That is where our NIGHTMARE began. Told is was a two day install for Bedroom and Livingroom. Took over a month to get them started on install. We budged 2 nights in hotel $350.00 ended up costing over $1300.00 because it took then 9days to complete install of 11 x 12 bedroom. Not sure it would have been completed that quick, if my 80yr old husband had not been there all day every day helping when he could and being so stressed out it was damaging his health. I am 78yrs old and in poor health but I had no choice to go home and stay in bedroom for the DAYS it took to do living room, we lived in very bad conditions, it was a construction zone, the noise of saws, drills and nail guns not to mention the air quality created by all of that. My husband and I both have lung problems. I could go on for pages but I think everybody understands our problems. read more

The product we received was fine, we were very disappointed and irritated that it took nearly a month for some 1/4 round to be shipped to us from the day of order. in this day and age of lighting-fast delivery from online retailers such as Amazon and Overstock, taking an entire month to deliver some 1/4 round borders on unacceptable. The local store blamed the home office because it had to be delivered to the local store first. frankly, unless the product had not been manufactured yet and wasn't sitting an a warehouse somewhere in the US, there is no excuse for how long this took. LL should look at their policy of having to ship to a local store first, especially in this day and age when USPS delivers for Amazon on Sundays and almost everything can be had in 48 hours. We are DIY people and the only time we have to work on our floors is the weekend. We depend on our suppliers to get our products, especially products that are available somewhere in the US to us much faster than 30 days. read more
