You'd love a little treat for the plane but you really don't want a five dollar bag of M&M's. Enter the other, better "M": Ethel M. Pop into this small gift shop and they immediately offer you the choice of a milk or dark chocolate sample. Then it's up to you to reign yourself in. Somehow I kept myself to just two luscious pieces this time. (Perhaps because it was August in Las Vegas, I was returning to Phoenix, and I feared the chocolate would all melt.) #1 Dark Chocolate Coconut Delight - Fantastic! #2 Dark Chocolate Passionfruit Caramel - pairing caramel with passionfruit is so inspired. Loved it. **I don't care what month it is. Two pieces was not enough. Their candy is so good.**
I thought Ethel M's stood for Ethel Mae's. Sounds like the name of a grandma making homemade chocolate. Well, I was wrong! The "M" stands for Mars as in the candy company - Snickers, M&M's, Skittles, Twix, etc. Ethel M's is only in Las Vegas. They have a separate location where the chocolates are made. They are dedicated to the airport location. The store worker provided samples of milk and dark chocolate. My initial reaction was that the chocolate was smooth and refined. Even the dark chocolate candy was super smooth. I decided to get caramel pecan bars -one for my husband (he doesn't like to share) and one for me. I thought I would start small. OMG the candies were so satisfying...each bite more delicious than the last. The candy shop has displays with no areas for seating. The displays were visually attractive, which is what drew me into the shop. So glad I tried Ethel M's,
I love getting some chocolate right before a flight to Orlando Florida! This Ethel M Chocolates location was located near my gate on my flight out through a non-stop trip to Orlando Florida. My mom and I originally stopped by the Coffee Bean right next door, but we just had to go to the Ethel M Chocolates store! There was so many different chocolates to choose from. You could by pre-boxed selection too! Some of my favorite chocolates are the milk chocolate filled with caramel! They're so yummy! The team member that was assisting us at the Ethel M Chocolates store was amazing! He went through all of the different chocolates and provided us a tour of the store! A sample of the chocolates were also provided, which was nice! If you have some extra time before your flight departs, you should stop by the Ethel M Chocolates! If you're visiting Vegas, there is even a Ethel M Chocolate factory in Vegas, located out in Henderson though!
Stumbled upon is amazing chocolate gift shop while browsing the airport. Didn't even know this was one of LV very popular chocolate brands for high quality chocolate but now that I do, I can see why! It definitely lives up to its name. The chocolates were so rich and creamy and perfect amount of sweetness and great flavor. They had great prices and not expensive at all around $5 a bar or $16 boxes or $20 goodie bags etc but they had great Christmas sales now too. Overall amazing experience. Service was great telling us about the deals and popular flavor recommendations. My new go to in Vegas! If only they had a store near me I'd be a regular hit for now, got a bunch of goodies for my family and friends!
Cheapest Water (3 bucks) I've seen at LAS (Harry Reid Airport). Go for the bottle of water and look around for some deals. I was there on 3/9 and saw half off Valentine's Day Candy. The box was normally $60 (insane if you ask me) but I figured I'd splurge and spend 30 for the 28 piece box. Especially after trying a sample. The woman working was friendly although when I asked her about any good deals, she didn't call out the valentines box. I think the stuff in the case goes for around $3 a piece. I also got a $5 candy bar which was pretty small but good. Prices are high but the quality is definitely there. As I slowly worked my way through the box, I enjoyed each piece except the Kona one which could have used more coffee flavor.
This booth was next to our boarding gate and it was so good! I'm not a big fan of chocolate but this was pretty delicious. I want to go back and buy more but I already have to much stuff I'm carrying on my flight. We come back to Las Vegas in December and I will definitely buy some more.
Chocolate samples at the D Gate in Las Vegas, Nevada... We were walking through Terminal 3 of the Harry Reid International Airport when we saw this Ethel M Chocolates kiosk. It was bright, colorful, and inviting! How can we say "no" to a free sample? "Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate?", asked Shana... "I'll have a milk Chocolate, please!" Yum, yum! It's smooth and rich! Chocolate has great antioxidants, right? Thank you for being so cheerful, Shana! She also explained about the company. She even knew that there was an Ethel M store in Hawaii! Wow! Nice to meet you! See you again!
Whenever we fly into McCarran... now Henry Reid International. We would stop into Ethel M Chocolates. The ladies there are always so sweet and helpful. The chocolates are always so pretty. Sometimes too pretty to eat - NOT!
This was a great shop I found while waiting for a flight out of Las Vegas. Chocolates were supreme and the people that worked here were friendly and very helpful. - I wanted to buy Ethel M on the strip but is a much better option and at the same price. - Shop was kinda hidden.
Always a 5-Star experience for me. Stephanie and Mark was awesome. I picked up another 24 box of delicious truffles that are hand crafted locally.
Michael and Jackie were a wonderful ending to my travels. I came in looking for a special treat for a special someone, and they were able to give me wonderful recommendations. They were kind and patient and friendly. All the things people usually are not in an airport. I appreciated their kind support and was able to pick out a wonderful gift! Something about the little chocolate hearts in a gold elongated box tied with red ribbon looked so elegantly delicious. It was the perfect gift for my neighbor who watched my baby Yorkie while I was in Vegas. The chocolate colors seem to suggest raspberry, milk chocolate, lemon, mango and passion fruit flavors. Service was excellent - I was greeted cheerily though quite early in the morning. There was a 15% coupon at the bottom of the receipt. A nice bag was provided and best of all, two bite-sized square chocolates were in the bag free of charge for my chocolate craving.
On our Grand Canyon tour, the tour guide talked about Ethel M Chocolates. I loved the story of how the founder made chocolate for his mother as a tradition. (He is the man who brought us M&M's) Ethel M Chocolates makes chocolate that is made how the founder made them for his mother. We just happened to be in a mall that had a location nearby, so I decided to check it out. Note" this is NOT cheap gas station chocolate bars. This is real deal high-quality chocolate. The sales attendant was really informative and gave us samples. EVERYTHING tasted so creamy and well balanced. Once we tried one sampe, we fell in love. It was so smooth and decadent. We decided to get a big box to take home and share it with the kids. We did NOT share it. It was like this secret treasure that the kids did not know about. The ingredients were high quality, and it really made each chocolate taste different from the others. We just couldn't keep away. So delicious! My only regret is that we only got one box. Next time, we are packing a bunch back with us. It was so delicious that I still think of it.
Lean in and here my whisper... Shhh, or you'll miss it! Chocolate, here in the airport. After that long flight or vice versa make sure and take advantage of chocolate. Here's the best, you can still have a free sample of chocolate. It's not just any chocolate, it's Ethel's chocolates. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. You can pick and choose too! Use your creative imagination and make your own . The store employees are definitely sampling the products. They are happy and motivated. They certainly celebrate harmony and joy. Chocolates-- Harry Reid Int'l Airport, Las Vegas Ethel M Chocolates was nearby our gate at Terminal C inside the Harry Reid International Airport and I stopped by to see if they had my favorite, the milk chocolate peanut clusters. I saw that they had them in caramelized pecans and chocolate covered almonds... no peanut clusters. A sales person began to assist me and I told her that I just wanted peanut clusters. She said that they didn't have it (I'm not sure if they make it) and proceeded to show me the shelf with gift boxes of Pecan Brittle. Not my first choice but, okay, I bought the sampler that came in 4 squares. $15. She gave me sample chocolates... not one but four. Thank you!! If you've not been to their factory in Henderson yet you should check it out and enjoy free self-guided tours, a cactus garden and their chocolate shop. Who could resist that wall art of a box of chocolates!.. Different varieties of chocolates.. Got the chocolate macadamia bark with brittle, and pecan brittle.. Cute little tote bag for $2.00 ! Friendly employee.. I didn't know they have a factory in Henderson! Next trip I'll take a tour.. Even got a 15% coupon for next visit.. lol! read more
Like a moth to light, my brother-in-law could not help himself. Naturally I followed him in, could you blame me? I know your next question; would I jump off a bridge if he told me to? Well, if there was Ethel M Chocolates at the bottom, YES. The staff is all super friendly. Everything they make is ahhh-mazing and super fresh, you definitely taste the difference. Expect to pay $3/candy, which in the end is a worthwhile investment, trust me. I LOVE hard toffee, and they have an almond/toffee/brittle combo candy that is about as good as it gets! Find out for yourself, this is also a tasty gift that will be appreciated by any recipient. read more
Ethel M was a fun stop in Vegas to grab a hot chocolate and walk around for a bit in the cactus garden. Unfortunately, we went close to the end of the day so there were only a few people working in the factory. It's a bit of a drive from the Strip so it's more of a stop if you are in the area. Stayed for about 20 mins. read more

A wholesome and fun non gambling activity in the Las Vegas area is to visit Ethel M chocolates for a tour, sample some excellent candy, buy at discount, and to check out one of the most beautiful cactus gardens I've ever seen. The tour takes you through the entire process and the gift shop allows for a quick peek for those who may not have a great deal of time to participate in a tour. Pre-boxed and custom-made candy creations are available. Prices offered at the factory are lower than at retail outlets. Once you're done sampling chocolate, you must stroll the outside area to see a truly unique feature, which is a cactus garden that's been cultivated for nearly 40 years. A must see for anyone in the area! Tip : These chocolates will lose their shape if left in in a warm Las Vegas car! read more

My shopping spree continued, and this time I couldn't resist trying some gourmet chocolates! I picked up a passion fruit caramel truffle, dark chocolate espresso truffle, champagne truffle, and blood orange satin crème--all of them were absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was excellent, and they even treated us to samples of their dark and milk chocolate bars. The store was spotless and well-organized. We would have loved to take more chocolate home, but since Vegas wasn't our final stop, we had to pass. This will definitely be my go-to chocolate shop whenever I'm in Vegas! read more

Yaaaaasssss to chocolate! This is the most genius airport store, because who can resist. Just take all my money already! The staff was super attentive and helpful and the chocolates are divine! Check them out if you're in the C Terminal. read more
When I arrived LAS Vegas airport for the first time, I was exhausted with those slot machines all over the place. Somehow, this chocolate shop grabbed my attention. I have to get something for souvenir. Manufactured in Henderson Nevada. Ethel M Chocolates stood right before the gates C and A junction. I had to stop walking in circles. I was surprised by free samples. A friendly employee gave me a whole piece of $2.50 chocolate, at no cost. I felt I needed to buy something. Because that's something I can remember of Las Vegas. Saw a box of virtual chocolate tasting for $25. I would give it a try. Oh. Chocolate is really light and silky. I can't wait to get home and share with family. read more

Had to write this quick review of dropping into the kiosk like Ethel M Chocolates at the McCarran Airport which seems to expand like my belly every time I come to Las Vegas. So before boarding my flight and again walking down the wrong corridor for my gate, I rewarding my wrong way error by grappling three delicious creamy liquors & truffles that eased on down my mouth fairly quickly even as I tried to savor each bite. I tried a dark chocolate amaretto, cherry cordial and chocolate espresso. For a once in awhile treat, Ethel came through in a pinch making my ride home sweet even though I got group 13 and ended up on the wing. At least I de boarded first. read more
We took a tour of inside the store first and saw them making the chocolates. We also sipped on the best hot chocolate we've ever had. It's made with their chocolate. So it's so delicious. The service from the staff is so awesome. When you first walk in you are given a chocolate sample and it's so yummy. We bought a lot of chocolate's and cupcakes too. After we walked around the Cactus Garden Christmas lights and it was my first time and took pics and we loved it. At the end there's a food truck if you get hungry. My partner and I decided to take a chocolate tasting and wine pairing class for a post Valentine's Day celebration. Lucky for us, Ethel M still had their rotation of Valentine's chocolates during our course. The chocolate is some of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend Ethel M chocolate as a gift to a loved one or a special treat to have around the house. The tasting was fun and informative, but there were a few things I wish they included for a more holistic experience. The information provided was very basic (I.e. where chocolate is grown and cacao beans being the main ingredient in chocolate). I wish they delved deeper into how chocolate originated, they gave us a tour of the factory, they showed us the chocolate making process, and they provided more information as to why certain wines go well with certain chocolates. My favorite chocolate was the milk chocolate pecan rapture, but the port it was paired with tasted like medicine! My favorite pairing, surprising enough, was the milk chocolate with peanut butter! And I am not a peanut butter and chocolate fan! But, the pairing tasted like a classic PB&J and tantalized my taste buds. Regale Braquetto. Overall, I'm happy we went to the tasting but it's not something I would do again. The service and the presenter were phenomenal but there are a few changes I would make to enhance the chocolate and wine tasting. Chocolate tastings are available to be booked on the Ethel M website. 4/5 recommend the tasting. 5/5 recommend buying the chocolate and visiting there factory and cactus garden! read more

Popped in for some gifts.. and the sweetest woman helped us mail down the chocolates and how we could wrap them. We always swing by for gifts but hands down... this time working with her I had to post about it! The store was clean, it smelled of fresh chocolates! If you haven't been, or have been... you must come! (Again) We also snagged a cannoli and shake for the road! read more
As I am waiting for my flight at the gate, Ethel M was right across from where I was sitting and I entered the store with pretty packaging of their delightful chocolates. I was intentional to look for a gift and they provide many assortments of dark and milk chocolates with fillings and truffles. I got an assortment as a gifts. The packaging off all the chocolates are very pretty and some are gift wrapped. Perfect present for someone special. These chocolates are not cheap nor too expensive. The quality is found in the velvety smoothness of the chocolate. The individual chocolates displayed like gems in a case. I got a dark chocolate truffle shining like an amethyst stone, it was so pretty not to eat. I savored every bite. The store is clean, excellent customer service by Hanna who was helpful and friendly. I'll be retuning when I'm back in Vegas. Chocolates are delicious! read more
