Mrs & Mr White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries!
    Susan R.

"Be in love with your life. Every minute of it." Jack Keronae Love is a what makes your heart swoon, it's the feeling of butterflies that you have when your away from that special one. Happy is a state of mind, but the right sweet treat can never hurt. Now that Fremont Street is open, located inside the Golden Nugget our chocolate experience awaits. The parking garage is a hot mess to get in and out of, with parking not free. The only way that parking is free is to make a purchase and have it validated. The little convenience store inside the hotel will validate any purchases over $35. Luckily we spent over that, so parking was free. It's the simple pleasures in life. Wandering up to the store it seems as though they will disappoint you. Make sure and read the sign on the door. Go to the front desk or a local business around the corner they will call a staff member to help you make a chocolate connection. As we waited for the individual to show up the bar across from the pool area is open and serves delicious drinks. Now in the post COVID world we can have our favorite choice of chocolate again down on Fremont Street. The choices of truffles has not changed, but a lot of the dipped strawberries are randomly made. Don't count on them let's say. The truffles are beautiful looking from behind the glass. A box of about six is roughly around twenty with that tip. If your looking too booze it up with that chocolate they carry those here too. Happy is alcohol and chocolate bliss togetherness. Other options of candy delights are available for the kiddos too. If it's a particular type of candy your seeking they might carry it here, just wander in and check. All the doors are open now with the mask being required by all. If the signs on the door, go to the front check in desk to have an associate come around to help you! If your seeking a gift for that special someone, both local and tourist alike just pop in. The packaging that they use for the truffles doubles as a great gift box. They can wrap it with a ribbon and be sure and ask for a gift bag too. They don't charge extra for this service either. No delivery is available and you must come in person to handle special requests and orders in person. The staff here have always been kind when making a gift box of chocolates for this and that occasion. Sometimes it's just nice to take home that special box of sweets gift wrapped to just you. You must love yourself before we can love others remember. Spoil those around you with that special gift of truffles and wrapped chocolates. Happy can be found one after another. Many flavors and quaint names exist for the truffles behind the glass. Here's a few that always stuck out with me: Stripper love, Birthday beauty, and other random names that pertain to Vegas make it a fun little shop to visit if you enjoy good chocolates when your on Fremont Street. The pricing is decent and so is the service. Once in a while we need something to spoil ourselves. Find your happy with a box of candy. The truffles are beautiful and delicious all in the same. Let your heart sing out for that box of wrapped up sunshine. See what chocolate can do for you or that special someone in your life. The staff are very genuine and merry. They must be sampling the product. It's the simple pleasures that make life grand!

This is a cute small chocolate shop right across from Vic and Anthony's steakhouse in the Golden Nugget. Since we were early for our reservation, we decided to check it out. They have a variety of packaged sweets of different brands including Sugarfina. They also have their own chocolates in their display case. We decided to try several of their truffles including amaretto, lemon, orange, key lime, and several chocolate varieties. Unfortunately, they were not that good. The exteriors looked sloppy, and the chocolate appeared poorly-tempered as it lacked the shine typically found on high quality chocolates. The interiors had OK flavor - the lemon and orange were the highlights. They all had a rather gritty interior texture as well rather than a smooth and creamy texture. The exterior decorations on several of the truffles looked sloppy and amateurish. The employee was helpful and friendly, which is a plus. Overall, this was a fair experience with chocolates that underwhelmed.

The truffles were such a delicious treat to enjoy while staying in the Golden Nugget. Super convenient since it's in the building, and the service is fairly quick. There is no seating though, as this is just a candy counter. I will admit that the prices are a bit steep- it was $36 for 12 truffles. We enjoyed a variety including wedding cake, lime chiffon, mint chocolate, orange, butter pecan, mocha, tiramisu, peanut butter, cake batter. The wedding cake and the lime were some of my favorites; my husband loved the dark chocolate mint

    Never again!

This tiny shop is located in the Golden Nugget lobby and has nice-looking displays and a huge nugget of chocolate you can spot from a distance. The only thing that's different about Chocolate Box is the Golden Nugget branded chocolate bars you can buy as gifts and souvenirs. Other than that, many items are standard and you can get at other stores. In their glass display at the counter, they have truffles, cupcakes and macarons. In addition to chocolate, they had gummy candies-with their store label-nothing to write home about. They also have ice cream and I was so excited to try some but it was outright nasty. There are only 4 flavors available and the texture was grainy and not smooth at all. Taste was alright but it was also melting as soon as I got it. They also had candied apples that looked amazing but for $10 a pop and after my ice cream experience, I passed. A clearance section is also offered for of course the items that will go bad within the next few months. The concept is great but execution is subpar. Customer service was ok but I probably won't stop back in.

Good spot for the store when checking in with kids. Kids seen the store full of candy and ice cream and had to get them something. Ice cream for 1 scoop is $4.00, 2 scoops $6.00, $1 for a waffle cone, and toppings for $1 extra. Feels like you gotta pay just to look at it with all the up-charges lol. Icecream flavor is normal but nothing especial, probably wouldn't be back unless I was dragged back by the lil one.

As I was going to get my parking ticket validated, I walked past this little shop just off the check in area almost across from the elevators. Oh, what a lovely discovery. They have luscious looking candy, gelato, cupcakes, and several other kinds of goodies available for the person on the go and in the know. I perused the cases before deciding to buy one lemon cupcake and one red velvet cupcake. They are $3.00 each. They put them in little boxes with wire holders--much like you get rice for take out. I was going to show you photos of the cupcakes. However, they sat in the back of my warm car for three hours, and then they got jostled a tad as I drove them home with several stops on the way. You'll have to be content to read my review. The cupcakes were excellent. They were moist and the frosting was excellent--perhaps a bit sweet, but it was what I was in the mood for. In the heat, the icing tended to flow over the sides. Oh the hell of getting cupcakes to where you want them in the dessert. If you're in the area of the GN, I'd certainly give this place a try.

After dinner, my friends and I went here to get something sweet to eat. The first thing that caught my attention was the cute design on their truffles. They have espresso, champagne, amaretto, dark cherry, Black Forest, etc. Almond brag, cashew brag, pecan brag in white, milk or dark chocolate. Chocolate-covered strawberries, marshmallows, Oreos, etc. Aside from chocolate, they also have cupcakes and Blue Bell ice cream. They also have Valor chocolates from Spain! Hooray! It's a little chocolate shop so, with me and friends in there with other people - we had to walk sideways. I really liked their cashew brag with dark chocolate...and Cookies n Cream ice cream. Mmmm...

Located in the Golden Nugget, specifically across from Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse (also very close to guest lobby hotel check in). After my husband and I enjoyed ourselves at Vic & Anthony's for our Christmas dinner, we walked over to this place to take a look and see what they had. I ended up getting 4 macarons (special was 4 for $10, normally $3 for one). The flavors I got was: Birthday cake- I really love birthday cake flavored desserts (it's the kid in me). But I really didn't taste a whole lot of birthday cake in this macaron, which made me quite disappointed. Nutella- The best of the 4 macarons I got. Both my husband and I truly loved the sweet Nutella flavor (who doesn't love Nutella?). The filling was quite generous, but still wished there was more. Mocha- Average at best, truly was not memorable. Pistachio- Also average as well and not quite memorable. ----------------- (Total= $10.81 after tax) The girl who was working this little place was nice. But when I asked her what flavor was one of the white macrons, she said she thinks it is vanilla but wasn't 100% sure. I asked her if she could let us sample it and she said they do not do samples. I asked her if she could just eat it and let me know but she said she isn't allowed to do that either. Anyways, this place is just okay. Some of the prices are rather expensive and some are comparable to other dessert shops. I may come back if I am at the Golden Nugget again, but wouldn't make a special trip. By the way, if you are visiting the Golden Nugget, parking is NOT free. But can be free for the 1st 3 hours with validation. I do not know if this place validates (the girl did not bother asking me if I needed validation).

Probably some of the biggest chocolate bonbons I have seen so far. Intriguing flavors in the display case but sadly many of them were out of stock. I think they are fair priced and they look enticing. The store has a little of something for everyone including many options from Sugarfina and CandyClub which are like stores that repackage various types of candy into plastic lux containers. It seems like they do Dreyer's Ice cream but it wasn't active at the time. Some interesting candy flavors like Bailey's chocolate candies. All of the bonbons were tasty and had the flavors as advertised. These are a bit more rustic in that they are more than a mouthful of chocolate. Usually I would cut them in half with a knife and only chew half at a time unlike other bonbon/chocolates that are tinier. The chocolate itself is a bit heavy and has a sort of butter-like mouth feel. Overall a fun experience, in my opinion candy is never a bad idea.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Its like a tiny castle filled with delicious treats! My mother was in town for a work conference and she stayed at The Golden Nugget. She's not in town very often so I spent the night at the hotel with her for a few days and while we were all curled up in our PJ's surrounded by wedding magazines and bad reality TV shows both of us got a sweets craving. We went downstairs and explored the Chocolate Box. Not only did they have a great selection of sweets, but Omid the man working behind the counter was so helpful and courteous! He gave us plenty of suggestions and he was very knowledgeable about all the products! Before we knew it he had us laughing and spending away! Great experience and great chocolates! Thanks Omid!

This place inside of the Golden Nugget is a chocoholics dream come true the biggest and most extravagantly covered apples i've ever seen. Anything from margarita or chipotle flavored chocolate bars to bags of decadently rich popcorn. HEAVEN

Looks delicious but wasn't that good and the cake was dry :(

The first floor is packed with all kinds of candy, especially gummy bears in every flavor and style you can think of. You can grab pre-packaged candy or go the fun route and fill your own bag from the bulk bins. Upstairs is where they had even more to offer. There were chocolate candies lined up against the wall where you can bag your own mix, along with fudge options displayed along the wall as well. We ended up getting a cookies and cream fudge bar and a pecan fudge bar, both were really good. They also have a martini bar upstairs, which we didn't get to try this time. I believe you may need a reservation, but it's definitely something I'd come back for. Now, I will say it's a little pricey, but that's expected in Vegas. Still, it was worth checking out for the experience. Overall: Fun, colorful, and perfect for candy lovers. I'd definitely come back next time to try the martini bar.

Once you get past all the unrelated mascots hovering the sides of the front entrance, you get to see two big M&Ms statues on the sides. Inside is four floors of different things, with labels for each floor near the escalators. Every once in a while there are life-sized statues of the different colors of M&Ms that you can take photo ops with, though on a sunny day like for this visit the yellow M&M is not an ideal place for a photo unless you like the sunlight interfering with the lighting of your photo. The first floor has mostly souvenirs of each of the colors of M&Ms. The second floor has my favorite part: their humongous chocolate wall full of all kinds of M&Ms and dispensers for each. It's so aesthetically pleasing to look at, and you can grab them by the pound too! There's also a ton of M&Ms minis here too though they're not part of the chocolate wall. The third floor has an area where you can create your own M&Ms though I passed on this since the line to make them got way too long. It also includes a ton of baking accessories lined up on the shelves. The fourth floor has Ethel M chocolate along with restrooms and a bridge to a nearby garage. Most of our time was spent on the second floor because we wanted to get some M&Ms to try. We got an assortment of M&Ms ranging from lemon meringue pie, caramel, pretzel and other flavors we don't commonly see when we get M&Ms. All of them were pretty tasty, though the lemon meringue was collectively our most favorite. I got tempted to get one of their many candy dispensers and even some M&Ms minis for myself but decided against it. I would so come back here on a return trip to Vegas just to grab some more M&Ms for myself!

On a hot-without-any-humidity Thursday noon I saw this place right after coming out of M&M's World. My friends and I walked through the overpass going over S Las Vegas Blvd just to reach here, and we ended up coming in through the 2nd floor, which has mostly Hershey's merch from what I remember. I say this because I more vividly remember the 1st floor, which has all the chocolate. There's Hershey's, Twizzlers, M&Ms, Reeses and some other brands of chocolate strewn all around the floor, whether it's on display or up at the bakery and what looked like a smoothie/drink area. My favorite was the Hershey's Kisses wall, one that looks awfully similar to the chocolate wall at M&M's World. There's tons of flavors of Kisses you can grab here by pulling down on a nearby lever to dispense the flavor of Kisses you want. You pay for these by the pound, and I seriously overestimated how much I got; I paid for less than half a pound at the end. No word on service besides those at the counter when I paid for some Kisses. I got an assortment of flavors of Kisses including butterbeer, cookies 'n' creme, hot cocoa, special dark chocolate, strawberry ice cream cone and milk chocolate meltaway. My favorites were the dark chocolate and cookies 'n' creme since both are my favorite flavors to begin with. Their dark chocolate is rich and strong, and the cookies 'n' creme was crunchy inside. The milk chocolate meltaway is essentially a Lindt truffle but in Hershey's Kisses format; the inside has a layer that melts in your mouth. Hot cocoa was all right, and strawberry ice cream cone and butterbeer were a little too sweet for my liking. This place might be the one I come back for just to have some chocolates while I'm perusing the many other stores on the Strip I haven't been to!
