Great staff, professional and courteous, the pastry shop is clean and the cookie shot milk glass display is adorable! We had the "Honey" - Honey ganache and bavarois, lemon cream, honey madeleine cake, and candied lemon peel, set atop a shortbread crust... goodness in a precious package. We ordered two cookies to go - a double chocolate chip and a regular chocolate chip and they were so moist and delicious. I do not go to the strip often as a local but give me a reason and I will choose Caesars Palace just to stop in at Dominique Ansel to try more of their pastries. read more

I finally got to try the place made the cronut famous. This is located inside Caesars Palace. I was staying at Nobu and had a dining credit, so for breakfast, I wanted to try Dominique Ansel. The line is not that long (I think it's because there's tons of food options at Caesar). I ordered the cronut, a few dessert, ham and cheese croissant and a turkey sandwich. There's a small seating area but I took mine to go. The cronut was delicious, flaky and fresh. The only thing is there's a filling in the cronut and I wished I could just have the Cronut as is. The other desserts were pretty decent, slightly too sweet (but maybe it's because I was trying to each a few different dessert items. lol). As for the savory, the croissant sandwich was pretty tasty, but the turkey sandwich was very average. It was like a turkey sandwich that I could have made at home. For that price, I would definitely avoid. All in all, I was definitely glad I finally got to try Dominique Ansel, I might come back for another Cronut. read more

So delicious and the service of all of the staff members as I came by to pick up a pastry daily on my 4 day stay during the week was all very pleasant. What a cute place in the Paris hotel! Came here for some mango sorbet and wow it was tasty! I didn't expect the flavor to be so rich. My friend got the strawberry and that was also delicious. OMG YESSSSS!!! I've had DA's pastries before at the Grove in LA but was not blown away like now! Gimme some DKA aka D's Kouign Amann!! I wish I'd bought four my last day in Vegas because Dad accidentally ate the one for Mom instead of his apple pastry ... and he said there wasn't any filling. Yes, there wasn't supposed to be filling in the crispy, flaky, cinnamon sugar dusted DKA! I first had Cronuts at Paris Baguette so I knew what I was about to experience back at the Grove in 2019. I ordered one here in Vegas and this month's flavor was coconut creme. Very light in flavor, same heaviness I've gotten used to from croissant donuts. They were also offering milk chocolate flavor this month that I wasn't aware of when ordering. I wanted to try the madeleines after gifting a friend the new IOTA hand cream made in partnership with DA himself. I ordered the lemon madeleines instead and was confused since they were coated in this earl grey white chocolate. The madeleine was drenched in maybe milk so it was so soft like tres leches with a lemon custard center. I went back the next day and ordered fresh, piped and baked to order mini madeleines-- twenty pieces for ~$12?! I should've bought at least two orders! And they smell just like the hand cream! So I went and bought myself the cream from ULTA to remember my DA Vegas breakfast runs while staying at Caesar's Palace. Also, my sister LOVES the pain au chocolat! She had it twice and probably should've bought more. It's pricey at $10 but worth the splurge. DKAs also run at $10 each. Get a nice four piece box as a gift for about $41. Oh! I forgot I bought three canelés. Ended up eating two of them. Opt for the bag instead of the box to save money. Custardy center with a chewy exterior, tastes a bit like slightly burnt brown sugar, in the best way possible. Finally tried the infamous chocolate chip cookie shot with steamed Madagascar vanilla milk! The cookie is warmed in their oven for ultimate melty chocolate-ness. I'm glad I shared this. Maybe I'll try the torched marshmallow ice cream bar one day. Staff is super sweet and friendly. Line goes by quickly. They have a few tables to sit at for a quick snack or breakfast. read more

Tasty pastries + staff were friendly! Main complaint (reason for 4 star review) is their long lines. There are two lines but one appears to be specifically for crepes and ice cream because of a large sign above the cashier stating as much, but you can in fact order off their full menu from either line. Upon ordering, the person who takes your order is also grabbing your items / drinks unless you ordered outside of their pastries menu. Essentially, the lines are longer than they should be. As I was waiting to catch a show at the Caesars Colosseum, Dominique Ansel is conveniently located right across the way. I got the infamous chocolate cookie shot with milk as well as the ice cream stuffed toasted marshmallow. Both had great presentation! The cookie was slightly underwhelming, but appreciated the cookie being warmed up slightly and the steamed milk was smooth. I can't say enough good things about this place. I enjoyed it so much I had to return multiple times to try different things. Strawberry Crepes: delicious. It's hard to go wrong with crepes and these did not disappoint. The crème was a little heavy but that didn't stop me from chowing down. Cronut: the Cronut of the month was strawberry. It was filled with a strawberry jam and crème. I loved it so much that I had to grab a few for the airplane on the way out. French Dip: hands down my favorite. The bread is amazing. The s'mores was very sweet and tasted more marshmallow then anything else. I finally got to check out this place on my final day morning on my way out to Airport. I am so glad I did. One of my coworker tried avocado toast here & was raving about this place. Menu has a lot of breakfast sandwiches options, cronuts, cakes & pastries. Croissants really looked good to my eye. I ended up ordering Smoked salmon croissant sandwich with a hot cappuccino. Salmon croissant sandwich was sooooo goooodddd especially with crème fraiche, chives etc., It was a decent size and filling too. Cappuccino was good but nothing special. I think this place was too hyped up for me personally to be impressed at all once I finally tried it last night. Beautiful decor inside Caesar's, love the aesthetics and the robot cookie shot idea. However the robot was broken when I got to try it & service is just okay for it not being busy. Nothing warm from the interaction & that's fine. The cookie shot tastes exactly like how it sounds. Cold milk poured into a warmed chocolate chip cookie cup. Not bad, not amazing. The cronut was also pretty mid. I was excited since I thought cronuts to try this when I heard they're the originals even though I always thought it came from New York I'm just not a fan of this particular flavor and the textures fine, but clearly not fresh either. I really love the décor--it has a French feel and a spacious table-and-chair layout that makes the space comfortable and inviting. They offer a huge selection of both sweet and savory baked goods. Such a good egg sandwich. Comes with lettuce mix and this side of a creamy fluffy house made mayo?? That mayo was so good it tasted like fancy deviled eggs. The egg sandwich itself was fluffy and light af. Jayce was the guy helping me and did his best to help my party get our order together. Jessica and another girl were there to help call out orders for savory foods and were kind. I love the ambiance. There's seating if you want to eat your goodies. It's well lit in there and it has so many tempting options. The design of the pastries especially were well executed. Dominique Ansel got the world's attention when he fried laminated croissant dough and called it a "Cronut". This is the only spot in the western US to get the famous pastry. The summary: **One of the best pastry shops on the strip. **Limited seating **Very expensive drinks and pastries. $10 cronut and $10 iced tea. $15 strawberry cake dessert. The Cronut flavor for October had a vanilla custard and coffee custard and I loved this. I'd buy this anytime and I wish this was a permanent flavor. 5 stars for this. Chocolate covered strawberry cake was fun. Reminded me of the fruit cakes from Paris by Cedric Grolet, but Ansel was aiming for his strawberry to look cute rather than ultra-realistic. Other signature dessert is their DKA (Dominique's Kouign Amann), which I love; however, I didn't get it this time because I spent $40 for three items. The crispy, caramelized croissant has a nice buttery interior and the lasting sweet aftertaste you get is awesome. As someone who loves sweets, Ansel's shop is a no brainer. Was very excited to try some of the items. Ordered the smores stick, cookie shot, the butter, strawberry, honey cube, cheesecake and cronut and a pelligrino. Total was $110. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The group I was with felt totally scammed. The cronut was stale, and all of the pastry items had a freezer burned taste. Like they were sitting uncovered in a fridge for days. The cream and jelly inside each were absolutely flavorless. To sum it up, it tastes like they use the lowest quality ingredients you could find in the freezer section at grocery store and make them look pretty to trick people. Located right next to Nobu is Dominique Ansel, which amounts to the best dessert option in Caesars Palace outside of Gordon Ramsay's sticky toffee pudding. Dominique Ansel is known for the cookie shot, which they have proudly on display out front. It's a walkup and order kinda place so no res needed but there is limited table space so plan around that if you can. We've had quite a few things from here in the past, but this time around we had their mini madelines, chocolate chip cookie, and pecan French toast. All their desserts are served to be creative, beautifully presented, and mostly tasty. From the cookie shot to macaroon to seasonal pastries, their selection has always been not the best thing I've tried, but definitely solid. The mini Madelines were delicious, light and fluffy. The pecan French toast was also good, very rich and thick with a balanced feel. What really stood out though was the chocolate chip cookie. It was so smooth and sweet, but not too sweet. Heavy but light with a buttery finish. It was just fantastic. We could have eaten it 10 more times and then asked for a memory wiper to eat it one more time again. It is probably the best cookie we've ever had from a bakery, and that's saying something. If you're in Caesars definitely stop by this place, especially for that chocolate chip cookie. read more
