Wow... just WOW. Before i get too ahead of myself... Royce Chocolates is located at the Grand Canal Shops at The Venetian Resorts. When it comes to the strip, i tend to get lost in the chaos of everything but today was a good day as i found Royce Chocolates easily. A friend and I walked in and were immediately greeted by a lovely lady and a lovely gentleman. We walked around a bit to look at all the perfectly staged chocolate displays and chillers. So much selection and honestly if i HAD to choose we would of been there for a while... i wanted it ALL. Made my way to the counter and conversed with "Thomas". Thomas, by the way, is EXCELLENT. Thomas was informative & so very nice - he is a great asset to Royce Chocolates! Thomas gave us a little background of Royce Chocolates and spoke so professionally about what they had to offer in the store. Thomas offered us samples of 4 different NAMA chocolates & a sample of the chocolate-dipped potato chips. Matcha - my fave! Mango Champagne Au Lait Nama chocolates are only made with quality ingredients (you'll immediately know this once u have a piece). Originating in Hokkaido Japan, this high quality and exquisitely made chocolate will have you wanting to make another run to Royce Chocolates! I got the Nama Champagne Chocolates. AMAZING. So creamy and delicious! The chocolate comes in a cute little box and each chocolate is in little perfectly cute bite size squares. Thomas nicely wrapped the box in a thermal bubble sleeve and also put a small ice bag in it so it would keep fresh. (Btw... this chocolates are normally stored cool) and he also gave me a complimentary spray cleaner for my cel phone and ipad! So sweet! I haven't stopped thinking about Nama chocolates since I tortured that entire box of chocolates in one sitting (tummy was very pleased)! And NO, i didn't share. However, i will be going to Royce Chocolates this weekend with my friend who is insisting on getting some of this magnificent chocolate she hears me bragging about. Cant wait. read more

Royce Chocolates are amazing very high end chocolates made in Japan. They happen to have a melt in your mouth quality like no other. Not all but some varieties need refrigeration. I had an amazing experience here from the Yelp Elite event so I went back to stock up some on some amazing Royce Chocolates. Today things were different. Nobody said a word about the chocolates and nobody offered any samples. The girl working here just said, "what do you want to buy?" I did say that I was uncertain about a few flavors that I read about in the catalog. The one I was most interested in she did say was located in the refrigerator and just pointed instead of telling me about it. I just purchased two boxes of the seasonal chocolate covered macadamia chocolates since I know that they are amazing. Side note to locals - I recently found out that we don't always get our three hours of free parking here. The first worker helped us with 2 and then kinda looked like she didn't want to help us anymore and went somewhere else. Another gentleman came and was extremely helpful. I just found my newest addiction! I tried out Royce for the first time this weekend. The staff was wonderful and very happy to assist me and my husband. We got to hear about Royce's history while sampling some of the fan favorite flavors. Two of the standouts for me were the dark chocolate and white peach flavors (which we later purchased)! The latter was a complete surprise for me -- I'm normally not the biggest white chocolate fan, but this one is special. These chocolates are truly top-notch. They're also everything I love about Japanese sweets in that they're not overly sweet or rich. I had heard about them before thru my mom - she gifted me chocolate covered potato chips and after that, I knew I had to check it out for myself! Walked in, the store was beautifully lit and had gorgeous displays of the famous chocolate covered chips - there was no way I was walking out after that! Was immediately warmly greeted by staff eager to help me sample their most popular ganaches, which is what I was told they were best known for. Husband and I tried the Colombian chocolate, salted caramel orange, white peach, and matcha - we both had opposite favorites and last place items (he LOVED the caramel orange one, but I'm totally a matcha gal), so we met in the middle and went for the chocolate ganache. Amazing!! The texture is unique in the best way, almost like if fudge was lighter and melted in your mouth. My son has peanut and tree nut allergies - their items are labeled clearly with any and all allergens which I super appreciated, and as my son is fortunately not so allergic that cross contamination is an issue (their ganaches were mostly labeled as "may contain tree nuts") I'm happy he will be able to give them a go as well... definitely keeping these out of his lil reach though, these are not a casual treat in my view, I'd pair these with a glass of wine or an espresso. Wow! This is chocolate. I visited my first time today. I was warmly greeted when I walked in. I was given four samples - chocolate ganache, matcha, peach, and caramel. I was provided a little background on the ingredients as well as information regarding the company. I am a huge pistachio fan and chose the pistachio toffee bar for an extra take home taste. The toffee is crisp. The pistachios were fresh. Of course, the chocolate melted in my mouth. The taste is well-rounded and not overly sweet. The chilled chocolates are placed in a pouch with an ice pack. Pretty nifty! My goodies arrived home still chilled in 100 degree weather. The store is very neat and clean. The chocolates are absolutely amazing, especially their Japanese-style chocolates with their incredibly smooth, creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture. MJ took really good care of us. ROYCE Chocolate At The Shoppes at the Palazzo serves up some of the creamiest, most heavenly melt-in-your-mouth chocolates you will ever find, though you might accidentally walk right past it. Finding the store is a bit of a treasure hunt because of a distinct lack of prominent front signage. My group actually walked right past it the first time without noticing it was there. Once you do track it down (they are temporarily over on the Palazzo side of the Grand Canal Shoppes near Sushi Samba and X Pot), the interior itself is a bit plain and could use some warmer, more upscale decor to match the luxury price point of the confections. That being said, the actual product and service completely redeem the experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming, handing out generous samples and carefully packing our chocolates in an insulated thermal wrap so they wouldn't melt on the walk back in the 100+ heat in Vegas. The champagne-infused and matcha chocolates are absolute game-changers. Once in the permanent spot, fix the storefront signage and spruce up the interior design, and this place will earn a 5-star from me. read more

I tried a small sample of Nama Chocolate Matcha, it has a unique blend of white chocolate and matcha, consistency is a silky creaminess, and very sweet. Also tried Nama Chocolate Ecuador Sweet, delightful and yummy! It has a wonderful sweetness and pleasant, I can see why this would be a customer favorite. Personally, I'd go for less sweet and after trying a sample of Nama Chocolate Ghana Bitter, I felt this one is perfect for me, it's not bitter at all, the quality is superb! It has a rich, intense dark chocolate, consistency is soft, silky, not too sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth creamy, I absolutely love this! Both Ecuador Sweet and Ghana Bitter are excellent dark chocolate and liquor-free. I end up purchasing Nama Chocolate Ghana Bitter (20 pieces, $23.99) for its high quality dark chocolate, made with fresh cream, and it pairs amazingly well with good coffee. Spectacular chocolates. They are unique with a unique texture but these chocolates are so delicious that the taste stays with you long after you've finished your bite. They used to pass out samples and were always nice about people wanting a second bite, but the samples are rarely available anymore. Some are refrigerated and some do not need refrigeration. There are alcoholic blends and plain cacao choices. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I have tried the matcha flavor and it was great. This time I purchased the Nama Chocolate "Champagne Pierre Mignon" and Nama Chocolate "Bitter" flavors. The champagne is light but the chocolate is infused with fresh cream but isn't super sweet. The bitter is crafted from dark chocolate and infused with hints of cognac. I was so lost I think I passed through four alternate realities. But was it worth it? Oh, absolutely. USE THE DIRECTORY. Ask everyone. Ask the janitor. Ask a plant. Just get there. The store itself is tiny, but like... in a chic, "mini Apple Store, but for chocolate" kind of way. And the ladies who greeted my brother and me? SO SWEET Like... Willy Wonka could never. This place is great! I can't believe I had never heard of or been here before! Their little shop is a little difficult to find but it is basically located on the 2nd floor of the Grand Canal Shops, across from Na Hoku and near Shoe Palace. Their chocolates are a little pricey but they're so tasty and high quality! Everything is made in Sapporo, Japan with Japanese dairy and shipped to each of their stores worldwide. We tried a handful of items including their most popular Nama line, chocolate covered potato chips, and matcha chocolate almonds. I really liked the Nama chocolate and ended up purchasing a box of the Port Charlotte (scotch whiskey) chocolate. Shout out to Thomas for hooking us up with samples and explaining all their products to us so that we could make an informed decision on what to purchase! What a lovely treat running into this little chocolate shop tonight was. I forgot to get the name of the lady that helped us out but she was awesome. It's Saturday 7/19 around 8pm if that helps management recognize who she is. She told us all about Royce', their background, ingredients, and what makes them special. She even gave us a couple samples of various chocolates and told us all about what makes each one special. One of the samples was a chocolate flavored potato chip. Not my favorite. I prefer their Nama chocolate and truffles. The only chocolate I like with a crunch is the kind with crisped rice (similar to a Crunch bar). I purchased a box of Orange Petit Truffles and they were the most delectable chocolates I have ever eaten. It was $18.99 for a 3.7oz box of 12 truffles. In summary, the associate working tonight was amazing, the shop was so clean and organized, and everything we tasted was delicious. The woman who worked the cash register provided wonderful customer service offer and tons of free samples. Some of which were a pass. Others I really liked, like the white chocolate candy bars and the chocolate covered chips which made for a salty yet sweet snack, which I really enjoyed. Some of the imported chocolate was divine and worth every penny. Other items, however, might be considered overpriced. For example they sell a $14 candy bar, which is a bit much in my opinion. I never advertise one business while reviewing a completely different business so I won't name drop but I definitely know where to go to get a delicious milk chocolate/Belgium chocolate candy bar for five bucks. Overall, I can see myself returning. Not on a "regular " day but something special like an anniversary or Valentine's Day. I discovered Royce in Japan and was excited to find the store in the Venetian! Its located in the Grand Canal Shops right by the water. Right down from the "sphere experiences" (Backstreet Boys,Kenny Chesney). They have a great selection of chocolates, including the seasonal. I bought Hakutouberry/Hakutouwhite which is seasonal and the uji matcha. The nice thing is that they are individually packaged in the box! Cool and tasty experience! I've never had Royce' chocolate before and was curious to see how their chocolates were. My friends raved about it to me before but I've never understood what there was to rave about....until now. Located in the Grand Canals shops at the Venetian, Royce' chocolates is a cute little shop with a good variety of different chocolates. Some chocolates have liquor in them. I've never had liquor in my chocolates before so this is a first for me! The employees were helpful and let us sample 3 different flavors they had. They had the white chocolate, matcha, and dark chocolate (65%). Each one had a bit of liquor in them but I didn't taste it. The white chocolate had orange and cherry liquor in it, but what stood out to me was the cheese taste in it. It melted in my mouth! The matcha one is one where it would be a hit or a miss. If you like matcha, it has a strong matcha flavor to it. The last one was good too. The dark chocolate did not taste bitter but there is a Hennessy taste to it. We appreciate how they had a ice pack to it because it does have to stay cold. The ice pack stays cold for 6 hours. We also ended up buying a original Royce' potato chip (milk chcolate). Delicious and wonderfully curated collection of Hokkaido based chocolates! Honestly there's nothing that they carry that does not do wonders to the palette. But the cold service and the aloof staff here is what ruins the experience for me. No thank you. We got a box of Royce chocolates from our relative who brought them back from Japan. To our surprise there was a Royce chocolate shop at The Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian. My wife and kids ate up the box of chocolates in 2 days, so we made sure to make a trip to The Grand Canal Shoppes today to purchase a couple boxes of these delectable chocolates. They are super creamy, similar to a truffle chocolate, but in small rectangles. They have several flavors as well as cookies and wafer covered with chocolate. The employees were all super nice and asked if we needed help as we were browsing through all their offerings. The boxes of chocolates come in a box of 20 small rectangles (slightly bigger than a Hershey's rectangle) for $19.99 (~$1 per rectangle, not sales tax on the chocolates). Our relative told us she bought the boxes of chocolates for ~$5 each in Japan. Overall, it was work the extra cost to taste these chocolates again as it is still cheaper than going to Japan. read more
