My friends offered to look after my fur baby while I was away for 2 weeks. She was not eating, sleeping all day, & was lethargic. My friends were worried and brought her in here. As soon as they were able to see her, they immediately did a blood work, shot of anti biotics & B12 and IV fluid treatment all for a fraction of the cost of other clinics. The following day, my friend got a call and had explained the results and what needed to be done. My fur baby is doing a lot better from the time that my friends first brought her to the vet. They are very accomodating and really easy to talk to. The only thing is that they are super busy and you need to constantly call to get an appointment. My drive here is an hour from my place but to me, it is well worth it. read more

I'm not a Yelper, so the fact that I downloaded this app just to warn people should say everything. This place is very unprofessional. I've been denied twice in a row at their evening clinic. The "owner" denies anyone who isn't her friend. She makes exceptions for her regular clients and is very quick to dismiss others. She stands next to the phone doing nothing and yells at busy workers to answer it instead, which explains why they never pick up. The "owner" is always talking to clients about nonsense while there are lines of people waiting to be seen or even just to get through the door. Laura the tech, on the other hand, is always helpful. When she sees the "owner" messing around, she quickly steps in and gets actual work done. Frankie the receptionist is a little rude as well and seems annoyed when people come in and the list is already full. I've seen people walk straight in, go to the back to talk to the "owner," and get seen or helped while others wait patiently for hours. Their prices are very reasonable, and most of the staff is okay, but the "owner" seems like she doesn't know what she's doing. It looks like she got the job just because she's related to the doctor. Cherry the doctors intern has even stated that the "owner" does not have any license to work in the vet field. Dr.Rodriguez is great, she can do wonders with a better staff on her side. read more

I took my Shih Tzu here for a 2nd opinion after receiving an extensive treatment recommendation and astronomical estimate from another vet. The front office staff was great. They could tell how worried I was and treated me with patience and compassion as I navigated through my beloved pup's 1st real health scare. Dr. Rodriguez went over my estimate and made it a point to come up with an alternative treatment plan that accounted for my financial concerns while not sacrificing the quality of care for our beloved dog. Most of what the 1st vet recommended wasn't even necessary! If you're looking for a skilled and HONEST veterinarian with a caring staff, I would definitely recommend this place. Later on I will get to why I feel the need to stay anonymous. I have great experiences with this establishment. Although recently I feel the morals leaving the business and if I don't say anything I'm worried this clinic will go down. For starters I would like to talk about the owner a.k.a the daughter in law. It's obviously been proven and said over and over she does not know how to run a business and has no prior experience doing so. She constantly lets her friends or certain clients come in and out without paying. I've witnessed over and over people coming in and out without paying. Clients consistently say they don't have enough or how they're going through a hard time and Tina saying they don't need to pay a dime or they can do a payment plan with her. While others have to pay right then and there or she'll scold them for coming in thinking they don't have to pay. Very bipolar i'd say. Tina also doesn't treat her staff with kindness at all. They bend there back for there job. She constantly tells them to drop everything there doing and go do something she needs done then proceeded to talk to clients about nonsense like vegas or etc when there's much work needed to be done and the lobby is full with sick pets. She yells at Cherry to constantly answer the phones but when her employees make aware to her that a client needs to speak with her she is quickly to say she has no time or for the client to leave a message which I feel like is very unprofessional. Tina takes advantage of how hard working her employees are like Laura who has two jobs. Not so sure how she treats the new front employee. Tina also had told clients if they leave a good review they will get some sort of discount or free service. My husband's seen with his own eyes files with writing "no service due to bad review" it's very unprofessional and distasteful. The clinic needs to also work on not having files all over the place expecially the floor! The clinic has a strict first come first serve policy which Tina decided to not follow though with. I'll be the second or third person in line most of the time (I constantly return for vitamin shots) and before they even open names are already on the sign in sheet which is unfair for us who wake up early and wait in line patiently. I've never had an issue with this but I see clients come in for anal gland expressions and she's unable to do them due to her nails. Which in my opinion if your the owner your the first one to understand in the medical feild its inappropriate to have. I come here to write this review because I love this clinic and respect Dr.Rodriguez and want nothing but the best for this business. Tina also over works poor Dr.Rodriguez who constantly mentions she's waiting to retire for Tina's daughter to take over. Bless her heart. Our dog was basically given the last rites by our previous vet doctor whose credential includes a diploma from an Ivy League school. After initially following his advise to bring our baby to a VCA hospital for further exams, it dawned on me that our vet is not fully qualified to treat her liver disease. The VCA hospital was trying to convince us to see an internist & have additional test for a biopsy of her liver. Overall, between our vet & VCA, it cost us close to $3,000. In the end, our initial vet said that he does not know how he can help our baby. After my intensive reading, I came across an article indicating that some liver disease may need an IV intervention & antibiotics. In desperation, we went to this clinic to get a second opinion & because they came highly recommended by a friend. Sure enough, Dr. Rodriguez recommended the same IV intervention & antibiotics without our asking for it. This spoke volumes about her experience & expertise. Now our baby is on the way to recovery & it cost us only $40 for the consultation plus the IV & antibiotics. Not to mention, that they have an excellent staff that try their hardest to accommodate their fur patients. read more

Brought my cat here to get neutered and am really pleased with the service :) It was really easy to make an appointment and everyone was really friendly! Their prices are very reasonable and the workers seem very knowledgeable. Surgeries are scheduled and only on weekdays but for other concerns, I believe it's walk-ins only! I brought my cat Sky here last month because she had a bad reaction to amoxicillin which caused her to stop eating and drinking completely. I've only heard great things about this pet clinic from loved ones so I figured to take her here since I didn't feel comfortable with the last vet. The staff tries to be as accommodating as they could with their busy schedule and the service is so amazing. I had to take my cat several times through the week to get fluids, blood work and X-rays and I truly believe without the help and the advice the staff gave, my cat wouldn't be here with me anymore. I owe so much to the staff and the wonderful vet. I plan on never taking my pets anywhere else. I can't say enough good things about the DR and assistants here. Especially Kasey. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care and empathy that they have. Being a pet parent is stressful enough, but when trying to find quality care at a time when your pet is in distress, its honestly a frightening thing. We have been looking for a good vet that doesn't over charge. Once we found this place it was perfect. We took our cat there because he was very sick. We had taken him some place else and it was going to be very expensive. We got there and they don't make appointments and they let one person check in at a time. We got there about an hour before they closed and they still let us go that day. The Vet and her Vet tech was very nice and friendly. The process to see the Doctor is not an easy one. You have to come in the morning and wait to get on a list, once on a list you leave and come back an hour later to then wait so more. Today, the Doctor got in at 11:20, 50 mins late. The Doctor May come in on time and you miss your spot if you're not there. So, in a nutshell, be prepared to wait from when they open until whenever I'm hopes you can hold your bowels and don't get hungry waiting all day. The price is right, but not worth the wait anymore. They do not respect animals in their last moments. Do not bring them here for euthanasia. My cat was very sick and the vet injected him in the leg that had tumors while a tech held him down. No catheter no sedative. Just the one injection straight to his tender leg. They held him down and didn't help soothe him at all. I've done this many times before over 20 years and NEVER witnessed that. He did not deserve that to be his last moments. I write this with heartache as i type it out. I took some time to reflect on whether to write this review or not over the last month and a half and it I know I am trying to warn people off to spare the experience. Him freaking out and screech in pain cuz the shot went right on his leg w tumors really stayed w me. Good for lab/diagnostics but not anything else. Go elsewhere. I've never seen a veterinary facility treat an animal with such disrespect at their last moments. NEVER AGAIN HERE. This is my warning to you if your fur baby is at the end of their life and u have to make the call for them. Note: this is WALK-IN Clinic. When I called, I was advised they do not make appointments. Be prepared /mentally ready to wait to be seen. Be patient & kind to the staff & others. This place is popular. They have great prices compared to other clinics. I couldn't find a last minute appointment for my dog at another clinic. This clinic was recommended to me. I got here 30 minutes before they opened and they had 5 patients already in line. (Including those dropping off/ waiting to see the Vet./vaccines etc.) Once the Vet Tech got there, one by one we went inside to sign in. Once inside you sign in then back outside to wait to be called in. The Vet Tech calls each person one by one while the rest of us were waiting outside. Note: They prioritize their patients, not everyone is there to see the Vet etc. If a person is taking their pet just to get vaccines, they will be in & out of the clinic, since the Vet tech is able to give those & they do not need to see the Veterinarian. That may mean if they get there after you, they may be called before you. read more
