My poor baby was limping on his paw recently, and when I tried to pick him up he would cry, so since I've brought him here previously I decided to take him back to see what was wrong. This time they we were seen a lot faster than the previous time. Luckily it wasn't anything major. He had an infection in his paw, but he was so calm when the vet's looked at him. They had to shave his paw and put a cone on him, but overall he was taken care of. I may have mentioned this in my last review, but the only thing that sucks is this location only allows care credit payments for bills of $200+. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I went to the vet because they had a dental special. My dog is older so they had to do bloodwork and a visit and that was almost $500. I paid it after he was cleared for surgery. I took him to surgery after they gave me an estimate of an additional thousand dollars. I knew it had to be done so I said go ahead dropped my dog off came back at 4 o'clock to pick him up and they gave me a bill for $2100. No phone calls to say that it's gonna be a lot more nothing just a bill for an additional 2100 so that makes the total bill of 2600. That is totally outrageous. Totally unfair to me. I was not prepared to pay $2000 after I spent 500 already. I can't believe that they run a business like this. Please don't get trapped into them saying they have a deal like other people have said on this site, it's a bait and switch. They're unethical. Please don't take your animals there. They pulled all the One tooth. They were trying to explain some of the charges for me and I said you're charging me for cleaning polishing what for one tooth? It was a horrible experience. I just took my two senior pets here. They were so good with them. They even helped me research what I needed to take my babies to Hawaii. There were three ladies helping me made the process very smooth. They were so friendly my pets felt so comfortable. I will be coming back next month. The ladies that helped me were Brooke , Jarelieand Josey. They all worked well together. They were all working and not on their cell phones like so many places. The staff here is very friendly and very caring towards your situation with your pet. They are organized, clean, professional brought my dogs here today for their annual teeth cleaning. Was very pleased with the process. I got a phone call around 2:45letting me know the girls were ready to be picked up. I was told originally that pick up who is between 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock so I was happy that they got done early. As you can see in the before, and after pictures, they did a fantastic job. Just wanted to make everyone aware that this vet in Upland is a total Bait n Switch!! I took my 3 female kittens here a couple weeks ago. I was quoted $193 per cat over the phone even though the flyer states it was $120. It was still cheaper than my regular clinic so I went ahead and booked the appointment. Everyone was friendly but when I received the invoice the price almost doubled. It was $329 per cat!! Here's the break down which wasn't explained when I made the appointment... $193.80 surgery $43.63 metacam injection for pain during surgery $40 cat was in heat (understandable) $31.75 Metacam Oral for pain after surgery $20 clear collar Total $329.18 per cat x 3 for a grand total of $987.54!!!!! I needed to get my pal Buzz's teeth cleaned and had been putting it off for sometime because he is a big dog that hates vet visits. The cost at most places I checked was also prohibitive. I had used Pet Crusade in the past when they performed services at Mary S. Roberts in Riverside, and had great results, but they no longer do that there. When I saw their new incarnation, Foothill Animal Hospital on Facebook promoting a dental cleaning special, I jumped on it in spite of the fact that their office is 30 minutes from where I live. Buzz is a hand full to deal with to say the least. FAH treated him kindly and with care during the entire process. His teeth are immaculate now for the first time since I adopted him, and it cost half of what his regular vet wanted to charge. The value of the service is tremendous. I cannot recommend them more highly. Thank you for taking care of my boy. It made a daunting task much easier than I had been expecting. read more

Beware they quoted 880 to stitch my dogs leg after she was cut on glass. When I pic her up the wound had no dressing to cover it. I asked for it to be bandaged and was told it's additional 70 dollars. Go to pepper tree or blue cross where they are responsible. My dogs were super dehydrated when I picked them up too. The veterinarian that I saw on Friday, September 8th, 2023 did a great job with my cat who has major medical issues. Please, if you care for your fur baby., stay away from this vet and Dr. Travis. My 8 lbs. dachshund had nuetering performed. We went solely for the difference in $. Big mistake. 5 days later I brought him back because he was trying to lick his scrotum area more than normal. We did everything we were supposed to do. Dr. Travis looked at him and said he looked normal and prescribed more meds. Now on day 8 we woke up and there was blood all over our bed. Our beloved baby was bleeding from the scrotum. I rushed him back to the vet and waited until they opened. At 900am the receptionist showed up and said the doctor isn't coming in that day. I am now going back to my regular vet to try and correct Travis's mess. Please take heed, this place is not good. They may respond to this by putting the blame on us but we did everything by the book on aftercare. So, I went to my regular vet for my dogs bleeding scrotum. I find out that dogs aren't neutered by incisions on the scrotum. The incision is in front of the scrotum. Cats are neutered by inscions of the scrotum. This vet(?) Ann Davis neutered my dog as if he was a cat. The crazy glue she used came apart and the blood is oozing out. We have him on antibiotics and cold compresses to assist in the healing. BEWARE: DON'T GO HERE. IT'S CHEAP FOR A REASON... read more

Took my dog here to get neutered and had a great experience. I saw an AD on instagram for a promotional deal for a spay/neuter service so figured I'd take advantage. I checked in my pup around 9am and he was finished around 2pm. You do have to pay an extra fee if your dog is not fully vaccinated. Front staff is also very friendly! read more

Had my two cats neutered here. They had a special going on. I was extremely worried about how it would go . My poor babies had no idea what they were in for bad enough had to take them in the pouring rain. My younger cat bounced back like nothing the same day my older boy (7 months) had a harder time took him few days longer. I did not have much interaction with the dr or anyone else just dropped them off and picked them up same day. I did feel guilty about that but they're both fine. read more

Took my little girl Cherry to get spayed yesterday and they were amazing. The front desk ladies were nice and informative. I asked a lot of questions and they were knowledgeable and patient. They were sweet taking my baby back and bringing her out to me. The spay was super cheap. I added on nail trimming, a baby tooth removal and a microchip. With the add ones, the cone, and the pain medication to take home it was very affordable. All of the other quotes I got were atleast double the price. I don't understand why there's negative reviews about the price of spay and neuter. (Of course you have to pay extra for the cone and pain medicine, why would it be free?) If you shop around this is probably the cheapest and best place you'll find. My dog is doing great today and her incision is small and clean. I will definitely go back for her annual shots or any other vet visits. I'm glad I found this place! Thank you to the dr and staff for making this surgery easy. Find a different vet. The vet is only in the office 2 days a week. The vet tech did not remove my dogs drainage tube the day/surgery follow up appointment when it was scheduled to be removed after surgery. Then the following week they told again the tube should remain. When I demanded it be removed, the vet looked at it and agreed to remove it, it had to be surgically removed because the wound had healed around it!! (Causing me to take another day off work) It should have been removed at the initial follow up visit.. the staff is not trained to provide medical advise.. They also way overcharge and keep adding fee after fee. And when I say overcharge and keep piling fees on... please believe me. Between the super unskilled/untrained medical care, the overcharging and the unreasonably long waits every time I went to the office... I recommend you find another vet. read more

This review is from services I received 6/3/2019: 1st off I want to start off saying the groomer for this facility gets a 5 star. She was highly recommended and she did not disappoint. My only gripe is that I scheduled an appointment at 10am and she was not ready until closing time which is not typically what I am used when it comes to getting my pup groomed. Now as for the service of the veterinarian office. The first reception I was spoke with in the morning at my pups drop off was very kind and had a great customer service. However, I was very disappointed with a couple of things: 1.) I called to check on my dog at 4pm to see if she was finished. I was advised by Jackie that that she was not ready but would be ready by closing time. They close at 6 so I had asked if they could please give me a call before then because I do live further out and I wanted to make sure I was there before close. She said yes she would call me so i had plenty of time to get there. Luckily I left my house an hour early because she did not call me until 5:52pm and Thankfully I was already waiting in their parking lot. 2.) Upon arriving I was advised that I will not be able to utilize their grooming services further. The vets wife who I believe is named Jackie, advised they only allow clients of the vets to receive grooming services and the only reason they allowed for us to drop off that day was because they thought she was a family members dog. This left me extremely confused because I made the appointment under my name not my family members. I also didn't advise that my dog had been there before until I spoke with the morning receptionist to which I let her know my husband has taken her there previously. 3.) To my knowledge their normal cost of grooming is $75 for large dogs but she charged me $95 so I'm guessing she taxed me for not being a regular customer. Anywho, I think the real issue was that I only wanted to utilize their grooming services and not the veterinarian. She had brought some concerns up in regards to my dog "scratching her ear". She advised that she either had fleas (which she does not) or she has something wrong with her ear and that if I wanted she could have the take a look at it. I thanked her for letting me know but also let her know I would have her regular vet take a look which I think may have agitated her which caused her to uninvite me to come back. Which I'm okay with because I wouldn't want further spend money at this establishment after this visit. read more

So what the doctor called an "abscess" was in fact not an abscess. I feared that the mysterious lump on my dogs face had something to do with her ear infection and I, who am not a vet, WAS RIGHT!! My dogs "abscess" kept returning and we had to keep draining the lump 2 months after the "doctor" drained it and put a tube through her face. The bottom hole from this surgery was still open which is why we were able to drain it for 2 months after the visit, but the other day the bottom hole closed up so we tried to scratch off the scab to drain out the fluid and when we applied pressure to the lump, usually the puss like liquid would drain from the bottom hole but this time it shot out through Her ear and was more like blood then puss. I am not happy with the way my dog was diagnosed and when we called the doctor to tell him of the problem when it originally came back, he tried charging us again for the Anesthesia which is the most expensive part!! When she was on Anesthesia the first time 2 months ago, he should have properly looked into the lump and not just assume it was an abscess!! My husband is going to call the doctor again today and see what he says about the malpractice he did on our poor dog!! I will update the review after the phone conversation my husband has with the vet. read more

They will charge you a list of charges that they don't quote. Your dog might be in heat so a just in case fee. Your dog might need bloodwork but it's not included in the surgery. Your dogs tooth might be bad so it's going to be a charge even though your pet is not even 6 months and is having a spade. The list goes on and on! Stay away very deceptive business! read more

This place is awesome. Our dog, a pitbull/boxer mix started to limp and had the shakes. We took him here and they treated him like family. Fast and friendly, everyone here treated him very kindly. He was treated and we we're sent home with instructions for care and medication. Three days later he became even sicker. They got us in that day, kept him over night to keep watch. The problem was a bit more serious then we thought originally, and now they are caring for him. Money was a concern as well for us, but they are taking care of him, and are willing to work with us on the cost. Now our dog is getting better. We have been taking our pets to Dr. Flores since 2003. He has given shots and docked tails for our litter of dobies. We did a puppy package with him for our weimie . And now our new baby, Lanah the dobie, is in a puppy package as well. He is very clear and caring. Asks us lots of questions to get to know Lanah better. The staff is so polite and fun. Especially Nicole!! She made us feel very comfy and my kids loved how she handled their best friend. I really like how she constantly offers the less expensive versions of meds and stuff. We have gone to this veterinary hospital for years. We couldn't say enough good things about the previous doctor, Dr. Flores. He was so caring, and took such an interest in our family and our pets. the new doctor, Dr. Bajwa, I do not trust. We got a dog at the end of April and took her in to update her shots, I didn't realize it was Dr. Flores had retired at that point, and there was no interest in the new doctor to say hello. I didn't think too much of this, because of COVID people are keeping their distance. A month later my dog got allergies, and I took her in again. I paid for the office visit, and medication. The next day I realized that she had an ear infection. So, I took her back. He had me pay another office visit, even after I questioned why it wasn't caught the day before. When I got home with the medicine I realized I didn't know if it had already been given to her, or not, there had not been any instructions on how to give it (I'm new to having a dog and giving ear drops was a little overwhelming the first time). My husband called back to get answers and was told by the doctor that he had noticed it was red the day before, but he choose to not tell us. This is negligent. It made my dog be in MUCH worse pain then necessary, and he got an extra office visit payment. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS DOCTOR!!! He just wants what is best for himself, not your animals. After reading Dr. Bajwa's response to this post I have edited this post to be clear about the problem: *I had taken my dog in for a generally check up when I first got her on May 1, to make sure her shots were up to date.. Then on June 8, I took her back in for allergy issues. No, at that time I did not notice any issue with her ears specifically, but everyone agrees ears are part of an allergy check up. I expect my vet to be smarter then me when it comes to dealing with animals. The fact that he told us he noticed the redness in her ears and did nothing when treating allergies is why we have a problem. We ended up back at this office 2 days later, with our dog in awful pain that could have been prevented, but then he wouldn't have gotten another office visit payment out of us. If you are reading this Dr. Bajwa understand that we are not trying to have a free ride as you suggest, we simply want our dog cared for when we pay you to do so. I know I just wrote a review for another animal hospital, but that one was a bit too far so I found a much closer place that's equally good. I bring my babies here all the time. The first time I've ever went to Foothill Animal Hospital was one of the saddest days of my life. We had to put down our German Shepard, Charlie. Actually, we didn't go to the clinic. They came to us. They are one of the only clinics that does house calls. They came to put down Charlie because as some of you may know, german shepards tend to have bad joints when they're older. That was the case for Charlie. He was 14 when we had to put him down. One day, he just couldn't get up anymore. It was quite sudden and he wouldn't let anyone carry him because that caused him pain. So I called all over the place for a hospital that make house calls. As a last resort I was prepared to call an animal ambulence... yes they have those. It's about $600 for them to come drive your pet to the hospital. Total highway robbery. So I was lucky enough to have found Foothill Animal Hospital. They came to our house, put Charlie down, and took him with them. A week later, we went to pick up Charlie's ashes. The bill wasn't expensive, definitely less than the $600 we would have paid just for the transport. All I really remember is that it was an extra $80 to cremation because they hire another company for that, but you get the ashes in a pretty nice box. I remembered that when my friend put her dog down at another place, the cremation was way more and they charged her for the box and everything. After that, we started taking out other dogs to Foothill Animal. They're reliable and their prices are really reasonable. Why better than the VCA hospitals. We've had to spend a fortune there before we found this place. read more

I first called about my dog Boss and how he kept squinting. I had called other places who wanted $80 just to see him. Nicole was very nice and helpful. She told me its $40 to see him but if he's a new patient then on their web site was a coupon that would wave the fee. I took him in and the place was really clean on top of Nicole being super sweet. Doc Flores was also nice and though I did spend a pretty penny it was still cheaper than else where. Nicole made me feel safe leaving Boss for a few hours while they treated him. When I came to pick him up he was heavily drugged, they gave me meds to do at home and I'm happy to say Boss is back to normal. They even called a few days after to check up on him.
