Needed a little morning pick me up and randomly stumbled into Euforia. Very relaxing atmosphere, staff is very friendly and patient with a new visitor to this caffeine and breakfast food oasis! Hard choices to be had, between crepes, bagels, toasts, smoothies and bowls there is a little bit for everyone. While not on the menu, they quickly whipped up a dirty chai (with great artwork!) for me to enjoy along my fresh and tasty anytime toast that was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared from egg, bacon, tomatoes and avocado. Definitely worth stopping in if in the area. Small parking lot on the side or street parking as well. All I can think to say is this place is a vibe. It's somewhere mixed between thoughtfully curated and being invited to your neighbors backyard get together. Staff, super friendly. Aesthetic, Instagram-worthy. Drink options, a perfect variety. I ordered a blueberry hibiscus tea and it was perfect for me on a cold winter day. It's a small cafe but I had to spend some time taking it all in because it had so many cute details and decorations. The vibe piece is the part that makes me hesitant on this spot. I went around 6 pm and they had a DJ booth set up blasting a lot of Shakira (not an exaggeration, for one hour it was just Shakira and different versions of Hips Don't Lie) complete with the music videos on a screen. It's a cafe, but it was giving trendy-ish bar. To be honest, the loud music and optional karaoke felt like a ploy to drive traffic that unfortunately doesn't consider what a customer seeking a coffee shop is looking for. Not to say it can't be done, but it's a small space and really is only conducive to chatting, sipping, and munching light bites. If you're looking for a cafe, I'd recommend coming earlier in the day. Checked out this coffee shop and cafe in Waukegan and thought it was great. Euforia Cafe is a hipster place that sticks out around here to be honest. It happens to be in a pretty rough part of town filled with ethnic restaurants and stores. A better than expected place for coffee. They also have açaí bowls and other such things. Before coming here for the first time we weren't sure what to expect. It's located in an area with sketchy ethnic businesses like the stores that sell phone cards and that kind of stuff. This was quite a revelation telling the truth. A pleasant atmosphere. Good smells. Okay prices too. It's about $4 for a latte. They have a few non dairy milks including oat. It's about $9 for one of the bowls. We gotta couple of these. I got the Sunshine Bowl. This is made with bananas, coconut milk, mango, and pineapple, topped with bananas, coconut flakes, honey which I left off, and pineapple. Great stuff and it's actually healthy. It's located on Grand at Berwick and has a parking lot. There's quite a few things for vegans and vegetarians. read more

Apple chai and I added 2 espresso shots: 8/10 cold foam on this was delicious. Mandala bagel melt: 6/10 bagel was not toasted and the egg was super bland needed to be toasted and maybe actual scrambled eggs. Anytime toast: 5/10. Avocado was like a spread not real avocado and again barely even toasted. I think with a few small changes like what I've mentioned, this place will be even better. Euforia cafe is a small, local AND Hispanic women owned coffee shop and I adore it. The decor of Euforia is very cute with greenery throughout. Light fixtures are cute and make you feel like you're on beach vacay. At 1 point the music was turned up really loud which did make it challenging to have a conversation. I was here on a Saturday morning and the place was paaaaacked. Staff members are very kind and had smiles on their faces throughout my time there. Given how busy it was I knew my order was going to take a bit of time to be made. It took about 20 mins for the drinks and food to arrive at our table. I did notice that some people who ordered after us received their orders before we did. I ordered an iced matcha blueberry latte with oat milk. It was alright, quality of ingredients used were decent, not the greatest and not the worst. For food I ordered the mandala bagel melt which was also pretty good. This cafe is on the pricier side however bc it's small and locally owned, it makes sense. Euforia is a great addition to the Waukegan area and I hope this business continues to do well. I have tried to visit this place three separate times now, both on the weekend and on weekdays, and each time, the parking lot has been completely inaccessible with multiple cars idling in the driveway with their hazard lights on, not even letting parked cars leave, much less make room for new patrons. I ordered a cold brew and an iced coffee, and while the pastries were actually very good, I was disappointed to see both drinks were just made with Stok coffee straight from the bottle. It took about 20 minutes to get our order, which felt like a long wait given that nothing was brewed fresh. This place recently opened up in Waukegan and I'm happy to see new, instagrammable, coffee shops. this place offers coffee, crepes, acai bowls and pastries. i ordered the Sunshine Bowl and the Chocolate Covered Strawberry (seasonal, Valentine's day drink). both were super good, though 9.50 for an acai bowl is a little steep. My boyfriend and I decided to start coming here to do work and chat as it is nearby and is Latina owned and we love supporting fellow Latins, and it was such an AMAZING decision!! We walked in and the decorum was inviting, and we immediately noticed the lovely mirror surrounded by plants that is great for photos. There is also the main lounge spot further in that has the lights that mean "Good things take time" and I enjoyed peaking into the "Louis Vuitton: The Birth of Modern Luxury" book on the side table! Every spot to sit and dine would have held a varied, yet unique experience, as there were low tables, high tables, booths, and cushioned seats. The servers were throughly cleaning when we arrived, and they were polite and had a happy banter with each other so the ambience was filled with great music and laughter, what more could you want? We ordered the Amor Mío toast, which was topped with pesto, tomato, avocado, mozzarella, basil, sea salt, and balsamic glaze. It was delicious and exactly what I adore in a decorated toast, and is now my staple go-to! We also ordered a hot chai, an iced caramel macchiato, and an iced vanilla latte and all three were exceptional. The perfect balance of sweet and yet rich flavors, it was some of the best iced coffee I have ever had, and I will continue to order the coffee as it had me continually going back for another sip! The reason I need to write a separate paragraph is just for the Rose Quartz Lemonade shaker alone. I. AM. WOWED!! This is the best lemonade I have ever had, as it has freshly mulled mint and strawberries that is paired with their lemonade and shook in a shaker, and it is garnished with dried rose petals. It is so bright and beautiful in color and display that I could not stop looking at how the light gleamed through it. It tasted so decadent and delicate, like how you could imagine a spring morning would taste. I highly recommend it, and I had to get a 20oz one to-go! The bagel melts are so delicious along with the chiliquiles, they only have green with choice of eggs, the smoothie bowls are huge in portion and filled with fresh toppings. The crepes are also made to order and they are not skimpy with the toppings. The lattes are great. I'm not a fan of their matcha however, it lacks flavor plus not too many creative outlets from the barista to do matcha drinks justice. Hopefully in the future this changes! When we tried to ask the employee about it she dismissed us and told us that their prices are outdated. Look, I've been to many coffee shops in my day. I'm from Colorado Springs Colorado, and currently living in Missoula Montana. If you aren't aware, these places are known for their great coffee shops. However, being here at Euforia Café has changed my outlook on coffee shops. This is the greatest coffee shop I've ever been to. Drinks and food are always great! They have a lot of variety of sandwiches/breakfast from avocado toast, breakfast bagels, bowls and more. Coffee is really good too but the service is really slow most days. The staff is always very friendly and helpful but definitely takes a bit too long to get orders out.
