This place is mediocre. I had the full body scrub and it wasn't full body. They didn't scrub the face or genital area. I understand why they don't do the latter but I believe any exclusions should be stated at the time of reservation to prevent any miscommunication. Excluding the face is what I found frustrating. I thought this was included but wasn't and I really wanted to see if it could make my skin more smooth and softer since the face is the most noticeable by others. I found it strange that I couldn't do a quick pre-shower to rinse the beach sand off. I think Euforia should provide more detail on what's included and what the start-to-finish process is on their website. Half the services on their website don't have a description paragraph. Good things are: 1.) The girl I had was good. She wasn't too soft or too hard with her scrubbing. 2.) The music in the room was good with the volume just right. 3.) I highly recommend Euforia spa! I was in desperate need of a facial and I came out feeling fresh and rejuvenated! My esthetician Janira was great! She had very gentle hands when it came to the extraction and it was over all a great experience! This is my second time coming to Euforia for their facial spa service and it won't be the last! Great massage with Ruth! I'm not into the froufrou, "spa experience". I want to come in, maybe fill out a form, get on the table and have someone who has obviously studied the human muscular system put those tireless thumbs to work. That's exactly what I got. Ruth had an exceptional ability to work out the knots in my shoulders and back and still have me purring at how good it felt. The entire massage was great, and I'm very much hoping to make it back before I leave Puerto Rico. Also, in case you're not into planning ahead, I was able to get a massage when I walked in, without an appointment, although of course, that is mostly a matter of luck. We were here on a vacation and this spa was right opposite our hotel so thought of giving it a try. I knew prices were too good to be true. Whenever, I visit a spa, I go there for the ambience and obviously the service. Ambience was below average. White bright lights and not warm beds. They kept asking me if temperature was ok. It was not cold for me. But I love it when I get on a toasty warm bed for massage. I got body scrub and facial. Body scrub was below average. She literally just put scrub on me and scrubbed may be twice or thrice. Water for cleaning the scrub was in next room so she spent 30% of the time going back and forth. Facial was good. But overall due lack of ambience and bright lights my experience was way below average. I am giving three stars because of service. The girls were very nice. Also, I checked in and was supposed to get free glass of wine. They never offered it to me even on showing my check in and offer. The clerk behind the desk on the day of the appointment was much friendlier than the one that booked the appointment the day before (the online booking wasn't working). I opted for the express pedicure which was reasonably priced at $25. The nail techs were sweet but the tubs weren't jetted as I would expect from a full-service salon. I was disappointed from beginning to end during my first ( and last) visit here. Starting with a courteous welcome and a shot glass of Coquito I prepared myself for pampering. Things went downhill when my manicurist started on my hands first instead of my feet -because toes have to dry! --Then she opened a small pouch and took out her nail clippers and Emory boards (no individual plastic wrapped equipment here). My hands went into soapy water and manicure was done with no real massage or paraffin soak. So much for the "spa" portion of the day. Proceeded to the pedicure sitting in an uncomfortable high bench..when done there was no drying area or machines. I was sent on my merry way with wet toenails that were smudged by the time I went across the street to meet my husband at the Concha hotel. All this joy for $80 with tip. Perhaps their massages are their strong suit. But not nails!!! PD I appreciate Hilton's response and it seems that your strong suit is massage. And that is fine. But the fact that there is no waiting area, no drying area , uncomfortable pedicure station seems to treat nails as an after thought. I am in town but have no desire to return to your establishment for manicures and pedicures. My low rating is for nails and pedicure only. read more

I needed some essential salon services while visiting Puerto Rico and I didn't want to pay the obscene prices at my hotel spa, so I yelped it. I was surprised to find a small selection in my neighboring area but I chose this place because I didn't want the "other" choice's spa extras. I couldn't have made a better decision for my needs. Their website was easily navigated and clear about appointment times and prices. This salon is perfectly located near the beach, shopping and a variety of dining options. I went in for a pedi and a wax. Both were done by very professional and skilled essteticians. But the bonus of the salon is the free glass of wine when you check in to the "yelp offer" - it brings the whole experience to another level - AND the $10 for 10 minute chair massage. You can increase the amount as per these increments - unless you prefer a private full body. This chair massage was the highlight of my visit and my day! Amaury was incredibly skilled at his craft. The 10 minute massage was better than most 1 hr massages at any physiotherapy location or spa I've been to - anywhere! I cannot rave more about him and the wonderful results! Great waxing services at great prices! I have been to many many places for waxes and know the good from the bad. This was The BEST. It's a very clean, professional, and comfortable place. I went at first because it is right by my apartment and the brazilian was only $50. But then, they were so friendly! And she actually took her time. And that is such a relief! They use a soft wax. She made sure to get everything. I was just super, super happy with it. I have not had nail services here yet. Prices for shellac and pedicures seem to be in the mid to upper range, but it is nice that you pay for a much nicer atmosphere and service (they aren't just another one of those typical fast trash nail places). I went on a Saturday and there was no loud music and no bustling in the streets that I noticed... ( The $65 wax I had gotten at Amado Amado in Plaza was HORRIBLE. Rushed. Awkward. Hot. Painful. Got a mani/pedi here before my wedding over @ LaConcha this past November. The place is clean and the staff is nice. I got a french manicure and a pedicure. The manicure lasted me a good week after and the pedi, well it's 3 weeks after the fact and my toes still look good. The coffee shop and desserts that they have is a nice touch. The only downside is where the pedis are done, small room in the back and you aren't sitting on a nice massage chair. Service is great, make an appointment! read more

Felt like I spent most of the service with the baristas out of the room letting a mask dry. I live in the area and called on a Tuesday for a pedicure and Brazilian wax-- there were only 2 times they offered me that were available the entire four days Tuesday through Friday! For their location in such a busy area, they really need to add availability. It's never even busy when I go! I have maybe seen one other customer each time I've been. Definitely a FAN !!! I am staying at La Concha, EUFORIA is truly across the street. The place is simple, new, clean and attractive. The staff is courteous and affable. A little dismayed how they have lotions, colognes and shower products available with NO SAMPLE open to get a try or smell. I likely would have bought some St. Bart's products if I could have smelled it, at least....but WOW, the massage with Amaury is fantastic. Therapeutic and almost medical, this gentleman knows what he is doing !! I would have loved more time with him, I had the 55 minute massage. Once again, only 100% raves for Amaury. A little odd was the walk to another building, definitely lacks the ZEN of a day spa by going outside and walking down the street. But the rooms were comfortable and clean. I would definitely return for a massage. If you are looking for a Day Spa with steam, sauna and whirlpool this is NOT your place. For a great massage, try Euforia, ask for Amaury !!! read more

My friend and i went to Euforia for massages a day after we got a sun burn. We bought a treatment gel for the sun burn. My massage was good, because i had a sunburn and it was only a 30 minute massage it wasnt as enjoyable as it would have been if i didnt have a sun burn, and at the end the massage therapist rubbed off the lotion with a very scratchy towel. She did not leave the room for me to undress, she just held the towel in front of her face, she did leave so i could redress. There is a small cafe area right next to the manicurist area, and the cappuccino i had was yummy. My friend had found a coupon on four square and since i was not a member i didnt have the coupon for myself, but they gave me the discount anyway, which i gave them a star for. read more

The staff was super friendly and accommodating and we booked the appointments the same day. I had an hour massage with Amaury and it was kind of almost heavenly. After reading several Yelp reviews I decided to walk in on Friday and schedule a massage for Saturday at noon. The person who did the reservation was very nice and explained all of the massages and cost. Explained the fees, took a deposit and I was all set. I arrived at my appt 15 mins early to fill out the release form. It was greeted upon entry and meet Harold, who would be doing my massage. I asked me what areas I wanted him to concentrate on and how firm I wanted I massage. After the release form I was escorted across the street where the massage studio is located. After I was undressed and on the table Harold started right away. I must say it was in the top 3 massages I have received, my first in San Juan. I would come back this summer when I am on vacation again and ask for Harold. read more

Was told by receptionist that they book 2 hours for a mani pedi and if the first service ends before an hour--which mine did--then the client has to sit and wait. Jose answered my many questions and made me feel comfortable about doing this transaction over the telephone. Erika took my payment and within minutes I had an emailed jpg of the certificate that I was able to forward to my mom on her birthday. This is a SUPER LATE review but nevertheless still relevant. I booked at massage for my birthday back in April. My two travel buddies also booked massages for the same dates and time (11am). They were able to accommodate us and also kept us in one room per request. Each of use requested the sports massage. The massage was VERY thorough. I needed it badly because I work out a ton and consistently get knots in my necks, shoulders and back. I felt wonderful and refreshed after. Perfect for a birthday!
