I came to this place to get my brazilian wax done. I had to make an appointment and they did not make me wait at all, the technique she used was amazing and I felt extremely happy with the final result. ONLY huge problem and massive DEAL BREAKER: THEY DOUBLE DIP!!! For those who do not know, double dipping is when the therapist re-dips a used spatula [the wooden stick used to scoop out and apply warm wax] back into the warm wax pot. People who waxed know that there might be blood spots and sweat (bacteria residue), this is extremely unhygienic and plain GROSS. Sorry Euforia, but until you stop double dipping you have lost my business. read more

The people were extremely nice and friendly and they also were able to speak English which was helpful since I knew very little Spanish. However when I booked my pedicure online it said it was an hour long appointment and it would cost $55. I was in the front door and back out again in under 30 minutes and they charge me $75. I came here on the recommendation of someone at our hotel. The reviews had mixed feelings. The place is very clean. The people were very friendly. We made rsvp in advance. My friend and i had shared a room. Her masseuse, Ruth, was very good. She said Ruth spent a good time working on her knots. My masseuse wasn't so good. I had mentioned to her before starting that my back hurt and showed her where. She spent an hour on my front and maybe 5 minutes on my back. I had to periodically ask her to massage me harder and i said again that i have a knot that i needed her to help me with. Disappointed in my massage i told the manager who was super super nice. She asked her male masseuse to work on my back for another 20 min. What he did in 20 min was way better than what i got for 85 min. He knew what he was doing and really helped my knot. He pinned it right away and said i had musxle fatigue and could tell that i don't stretch before and after working out. Now that's an awesome masseuse. read more

While the quality of my chair massage was excellent, the service here is not. I booked a 20 minute massage, from 11:30-11:50, but I was in line to pay for it after 15 min on the chair at 11:47. I was still charged the whole rate. There's no reception area, either, so I waited in line to pay in between people getting manicures and pedicures. Odd. If money is no object, the massage was great. Great for massage, a bit touristy. I received a great lymphatic drainage from Normari that made me actually look more trim around the abdomen and thighs. They have lemon water available everywhere as well. I was, however, annoyed that I had to walk across the street from the "front desk" to a building where they have the massage rooms in the second floor. It was pretty awkward to be escorted through the sidewalk by my massage therapist, particularly in such a busy area of Condado. Parking is complicated as well. They have contracts with a changing array of parking lots in the area, and the last time I went I didn't feel to confident in the area I was leaving my car. It can be quite a walk if you decide to street park, too. read more

As a treat my girlfriend recommended we try this place and she was right! I have a thing about nail salons - I rather pay more and KNOW for certain that it is very hygienic. I don't do cheap salons and cheap manicures - health wise there's too much at risk. Euforia is comparable to a very very good mid-range nail salon in NY, which means it is right in my wheelhouse. The manicure and pedicure was very professional, very clean, and the service is great. One thing I don't usually get in NY is a passion fruit mimosa, which just added a extra degree of specialness to the experience. Ok, so I'm new to PR, and have desperately been looking for a new wax place. This place gets 5 stars for service and efficiency. Janira did a great job at making me feel comfortable, and there was no awkward silence as she was handling my lady parts (haha). The wax they use here is less painful and not hot, especially compared to other places I've been. She was able to get me in and out in a timely manner, even having not been waxed in almost 2 months. My only issue keeping them from 5 stars is the fact that they double dip the sticks. This is extremely unsanitary and can cause problems down there!! To the owners, please change this practice for the safety of your clients. I would loveee to make this my monthly wax place if they're able to change this!!!! read more

Customer Service Superstars The spa is amazing. The service is prompt and polite. Harold is everything the reviews say he is! First may I explain, I had the worst trip to San Juan. I visited with friends to celebrate birthdays and Mother's Day. My flight was late. My bags were taken from the airport. My hotel caught on fire. The worst. I wanted to just give up. I looked online for nearby spas to try to ease some of the travel tensions....I found Euforia I called the day of to set an appointment. The staff walked me through my options for services, made excellent recommendations and were generally very polite. I scheduled a massage special (requesting Harold) which included a "spa" mani/pedi and one of Euforia's awesome specialty drinks. I also had a full service facial. Every single service was great! Massage: Harold with the Heavenly Hands is the best massages therapist I have ever experienced. I have traveled all over the world and often travel monthly just to visit my favorite spas in far flung locations. Nothing compares to Harold. I will return to PR just for a massage with him! I suffer migraines and pinched nerves from previous injuries so regular massages are a must and I've had plenty. Harold is super special. He was helpful and attentive during check-in, he chatted just enough before letting his capable hands send me into deep relaxation and gentle (much needed) nap. Firm hands and a gentle touch deeply massaged and relaxed my tense and tired body. He has a true passion his craft. Very disappointed! I booked a shoulder massage and paraffin pedicure. I had to remind her to do the paraffin and she seemed to have an attitude when I told her about it. Never got the shoulder massage. She told me she couldn't do it while I was paying for my service. Just a waste of my time and now I'm walking around with a massive knot in my shoulder. I went to Euforia because it was right across the hotel I was staying at and I needed a change of shellac nail polish. I was nicely greeted and offered water, coffee or wine to which I replied water. I sat and got my manicure which was very nicely done. It took a while but that was because they had to remove my old polish which wasn't easy. Now, I've been to tons of spas and this place isn't for relaxing at all. They played techno music in their front part which is where you receive manicures, pedicures, waxing and chair massages. This area is a fishbowl so people that walk by will be able to see you getting your mustache waxed. And if there's a small gathering outside (like the one I witnessed) you can hear every bit of the conversation. All this didn't bother me since I was there for shellac but I wouldn't pick this place for a massage or waxing at all. All in all service was good. I was charged for the graciously offered water so I took a star for that, the music, the outside noise. ----- Second visit for a pedicure--I had to sit there and wait for 20 minutes till my pedicure girl was finished with her own shellac manicure. I visited this location while I was on vacation in PR. I must say I had a very good experience. I got a body massage from Janira and a facial from Yessica. Both were very amazing, my massage was so great I felt a snore coming on so strong she awoke me when she was all done! I've had many massages before and none has put me to sleep delicately even though it was a deep tissue massage. Her hands did the job and when I stood up I felt brand new! She was amazing. I also had a basic facial with Yessica, her hands are so delicate its not like other places where you can feel that you're getting a facial. They play simple white noise when you're getting any of the massages and facials, so you may fall asleep especially when you're being treated like a Queen! The place is spotless and has a bar upon entrance where you can get yourself a drink or any sort of platters or small plates to snack on during your stay or your wait. I found this place on Yelp while in PR read the raving reviews about Harold so I booked an appointment. I was a walk in and waited about 15 minutes o one of their chairs. I love he purple decor. There is a free glass of wine with a Yelp checkin . When it was time to get seen I was escorted across the street to the suite where they do the massages. I have to say this is one of the best massages I have ever had. I had an hour massage and I didn't want to get off the table when it was over. This place is great! Let me start by commenting on the superior service and professionalism of each individual there and the cleanliness of the spa. My husband and I had a couples massage follow by manis/pedis. Harold and Ruth are amazing massage therapists! I have never had a massage where the therapist actually has hands on body contact for the full duration. Here, you get every single minute you pay for! This was my husbands first ever spa experience and he enjoyed it and even said he would do it again. This is HUGE! The only reason he did it with me in the first place was because it was our honeymoon. The price was extremely fair and they had a special going on so we got $20 off plus a free drink! Wait, it gets better yet. We checked in using Yelp! And received a free glass of wine! The woman even brought us 2, 1 glass each which was so nice. We were treated so well there. The male masseuse was superb! He was attentive to my needs in my problem areas. Perfect pressure. The oil they use on the skin lasts throughout the day. The staff members are friendly. The venue was very clean and they even have massage chairs at the main location. I gave it a 4 because they accidentally charged my card twice and I had to wait a while for the charge to come off. Great location, amazing service, even better coffee! A co-worker told me about this place before I left for my trip. As soon as I got in town, I decided to head over for manicure and pedicure. The service was great from the time I walked in the door. I purchased the Yelp deal, but my phone was dead, so the manager found a charger for me to charge my phone while I was getting serviced to be able to pull up the deal at the end. I thought that was so sweet of him. I don't recall my manicurist's name, but she was amazing. She really took her time, and made sure I was comfortable. I was trying not to fall asleep during the pedicure, but it was just so relaxing! Oh, and they brought me a cup of their amazing coffee while I got my pedicure. It was so good that I came back and bought two bags of the beans on my last day. During my manicure, one of the owners, Hilton, was there. He went and grabbed a map and a restaurant brochure to show me things to do and where to eat. It was fabulous. They recommended a free event at the Museo de Arte Comtemporaneo in which their bartender's art was being featured. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! I thought this was pretty unprofessional and irresponsible. I do lots and lots of spa services all around the world and the Us and never have I not been asked by the spa. And when i was looking for another spa in PR (four places), each of them asked me in advance what my preference would be. I even paid to buy the voucher. I wasted 10 bucks and 30 minutes for a very disappointing experience. I got to say that the staff seemed sorry, but that does that justify wasting the time and money. I also read all the one star reviews - it looks like waiting and scheduling is a constant issue. Looks like Euforia is pretty defensive about everything. Time to own up to your mistakes friends. I mean, wow... what an amazing massage! I got 85 mins full-body and it was fantastic! I had Harold Castro as a massage therapist and he is such a pro. I am staying at La Concha and the place is literally across the street. Also convenient since La Concha doesn't have its own spa and the spa they recommended was extremely overpriced ($265 for 50 mins massage, something like that). I first wanted a female therapist because I know guys could be a bit rough; but, they were all booked and good for me, because Harold did an awesome job. The massage was relaxing enough that I was passed out through the most of it! I woke up occasionally when he was working on the knots, but mostly was very relaxing. I went here for a pedicure and manicure for my sister's wedding. Although the staff was friendly, the work was not up to par. We went on a Sunday and by Wednesday my manicure had peeled off. My pedicure still looks good, so I will give them that. For the 50 dollars that I had paid even with the yelp deal, it was definitely not worth it. More importantly, my skin was cut multiple times when getting the manicure. It definitely burned swimming in salt water. So all in all, if you want a convenient location in condado then this is an okay place. If you want your nails done properly then maybe you should look into another place. read more

After reading Yelp reviews and realizing this place was literally around the corner from where we were staying; I decided to give it a try. I ended up getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure and can honestly say, it was THE BEST I have had in my life. It did take two hours however, only because my nail technician was a perfectionist. I honestly did not mind at all because she did such an amazing job. The spa itself is extremely clean, the staff is very polite, and they have many nail color options (newest colors too). Just enough time to go back to the hotel and change into our swimsuits. My sister and I chose for a 80 min by the pool overlooking the beach. They said they can't do couples in their location, only back to back. When we were at the pool, it was a bit distracting to hear the loud music coming from the pool, but our Massage Therapists definitely took care. They incorporated a combination massage which was very delightful and I eventually dozed off into my sweet dreams. You should definitely get your yelp deal so that you can save a few $$$ extra for your massage PLUS don't forget to get your free glass of wine. I went on Yelp and saw all the rave reviews for Harold's massages, so when I went to make an appointment I asked if he was available - he was. So when the massage was happening I had some pretty high expectations, and I have to say I was less than pleased with his performance. When I called to make my appointment there was a language barrier. I understand- this is Puerto Rico and everyone here speaks Spanish. When I arrived, though, the lady had put me down for a "jelly pedicure" instead of a "gel pedicure" it was an easy fix and not a problem. I Paid $70 to have my shellac removed off my toes and a new shellac pedicure. I was the only person in the salon. Which was okay- but weird as the pedicure "room" is right near their cash register. The employees kept walking back and forth, talking loudly.... it wasn't relaxing. I asked for the Yelp check-in drink, received it about half-way through my pedicure. When I went to check out, I had been charged for the drink, not a big deal. However, the lady didn't know how to check me out and I had to wait for a man to come do it. About 8 days later, the gel polish started to lift. By day 9 all the shellac literally "fell off". I called and left a message as this was an Uber expensive pedicure, and shellac on my fingers typically lasts 3 weeks and on my toes, it has to be taken off! It never "falls off". They never called me back so I called them again. The lady who answered didn't understand me and transferred me to a male. Initially, he responded "well it's been 11 days" I said, yes- I called you and never heard back so I'm calling now. He wasn't very apologetic, but offered to re-do it if I came in that day. I told him I couldn't make it today- but could come tomorrow. He said "tomorrow you will have to pay". I said "let me get this right- if I come today you will fix it, but if I come tomorrow I have to pay??" He said "exactly!" He then told me the manager would be in tomorrow and I should call then and talk to her then. I asked if it was possible to take down my name and number and have her call me? He said, "or you could call back". I said- I've called and left messages and you never call back. He took down my information and said she would call me tomorrow. It's been a week... After a few days of playing in the sand, a girl needed a good Pedicure! I'm staying at the beautiful LaConcha Resort and noticed Euforia located directly across the street. I called them up and booked an appointment for a pedicure. The Spa is lovely and adorable. The setup for the Pedi is not really comfortable, it's as if it was an afterthought when they designed the space. However, the pedicure itself was awesome! I didn't have time to get a pedicure before vacation so one of my first priorities was finding a reputable place to have one done. This was down the street from my hotel and had good reviews. Note: You DO need an appt. I walked in and had to make an appt for the next day. They have wine, espresso drinks, etc for purchase. The room my pedicure was in was a tiny makeshift space, do not too relaxing. The first day I went to Euforia my husband and I were looking for a massage place. We got a couple's massage and both of us were completely satisfied, it was one of the best massages we both had ever had. At the time my feet and ankles had started swelling due to my Hashimotos Disease. I mentioned this to my masseuse, Harold, and he said, "ahh a lymphatic massage." During the massage I believe he did a combo of lymphatic massage on my legs and regular deep tissue massage on the rest of my body. It was AMAZING. Loved it. And when we were done the swelling had gone down considerably. Highly recommend Harold. He has a lot of reviews recommending him out there and they are accurate! I have also heard that all of the masseuses are excellent from a woman I chatted with that lives there and comes to the spa often. The second time I went during our vacay, the next morning, I got a gel mani and pedi. The girl was excellent and very detail oriented and precise. I highly recommend her. The third time I came in with my husband on the last day of our vacay while we were killing time before we departed. Visited this Spa today 12/29/17 for a Brazilian wax, when returning to my room to shower I noticed that I still had a great amount of hair and wax in different areas of my vagina and anal area. How difficult is it to remove hair when you offer this service? I get waxed on a regular basis and have never had wax nor hair left after. If she is sensitive to waxing vaginas and anal areas, she should choose another career. I do not recommend anyone to use this establishment for their waxing needs. read more
