But I do think there's a short list of pizzas worth knowing about, and this one belongs on mine. There are quite a few other pizza options if your pizza palate is more adventurous. Oh yeah, for an extra fee, there's also an indoor putt-putt course, laser tag, a pool room, and an arcade. Still, perfectly understandable if you just go there for the surprisingly good pizza.

Then, less than a week before the event, they admitted they had double-booked the date because they put it on the wrong day in their calendar. That's fine. Sometimes things like that just happen. Instead of making it right, they wanted the band that booked first to move their show to 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. That's ridiculous. People weren't traveling to Eugene to watch an afternoon set while they're at work. The band tried to work with them. They suggested combining the shows, asked to talk it through, and then got ignored. After that, when people started calling out how badly this was handled, the response from the venue wasn't an apology--it was telling people to "eat shit." That's honestly what changed this from a scheduling mistake into a venue I don't want to support. Everyone screws up sometimes. Most businesses own it and try to fix it. Campbell Club chose to insult the very people who were trying to bring customers through their doors. If you're planning to travel for a show here, I'd think twice. I won't be making that mistake again. Also-- their Instagram says they are a nonprofit organization, it's not.

Nobody's going to see a show at 2pm. Mistakes happen, but waiting until people have already spent money on hotels, travel, and time off before announcing a cancellation is unacceptable. This especially hurts local bands that rely on these opportunities and the fans who support them. I understand accidents happen, but communication and accountability matter. Based on this experience, I can't recommend this venue and won't be planning future trips around events hosted here.

Their event was made extra special by the staff, as they were all knowledgeable and well-versed in the food and wine pairings that were offered at this event. I was particularly impressed as to how they were keeping the bottles of white wine cold by using ice that they had frozen flowers in. It was a beautiful presentation. There was a brick oven pizza set up and the pizzas were delicious. I am not sure if they are there all the time or because this was a special event. The wines are on point with each presentation and the outside area is spectacular. The inside area can hold a lot of people, especially on rainy days and very nicely decorated with lots of large windows. I can hardly wait to go back there again when all of the roses around the outside patio area are in Bloom! I will be bringing my small senior dog next time I visit their winery as they are dog friendly.

While I didn't have an advance reservation, each time, there were still empty tables, but twice they said they had insufficient staff and the last time, at 4PM, 2 hours before closing, said it was just too hot!!! They seem to run this as a hobby rather than a serious business. Their wine may be good, but I have never been able to taste it, so I can't recommend visiting unless you request a reservation, which is ONLY done via email, at least 24 hours in advance.

Outdoors there's a bocce ball court, a separate covered area for a party of say eight more. Lots of tables dotting the grounds on a couple different levels. The wine, I must admit, was so so unless you wanted to spend $75. The other bottles were $35 and up. In our snobby wine opinions, just so so. We only tasted a few wines as even that fee is significant. I believe the least expensive was $22 and the most expensive $45. The good news about that is that if you purchase a minimum of three wines that tasting fee is waived. They have a sparkling wine that is very pleasing. That was the only white wine we tasted. That would be another dollar amount to get a flight that included whites. Our server was knowledgeable and pleasant enough, but the general vibe of the place is a rather snobby rich folks kinda thing.
