Such a fun bar concept in Eugene. Definitely want to come back here. I came with my boyfriend specifically to use the batting cage which was super fun. It was 15$ for 4 tokens which were 15 pitches each. We came on a Sunday and there wasn't anyone using it we just walked right in. They have bats and helmets but you can also bring your own. Really good selection of food carts here as well. Bbq, Mexican, Japanese, etc. They also have a golf simulator. Great spot. read more

What a great new place for Eugene!! It's a multipurpose place that's good for families and single adults. The games are awesome. They have pinball, video games and skeeball!! We were there for a Friday night and they even had music. This kind of venue is much needed in Eugene! read more

PLAY Eugene is a new spacious clean multi-arcade for all ages. Minors can come with families before 9PM. They have some of their own food options, like a substantial charcuterie board. There are food carts too. There is a very large rotating draft beer tap system, cans and bottles of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, and a full bar. They have pinball, a batting cage, virtual golf, and a small play area for kids with jenga. They have a large free gravel parking lot next to them to Lincoln Street on 5th. I am so excited to add PLAY into my regular remote work rotation. They have non-alcoholic options which is great for me. But they have an entire wall of tapped beers as well as a separate cocktail lounge for those who would like to get their drink on. They have a pretty diverse collection of food trucks on their back patio. From grilled cheese, to tacos, to pizza, to katsu, there is something for every pallet. It's a big space so there is a lot of room for activities. Activities like virtual golf, batting cages, and arcade games. Overall, this is a great addition to Eugene and I am looking forward to seeing people make it one of their regular go-to hang out spots. read more

I came here with my boss for a potential work event. I was excited by the layout and options of this venue. Great cocktail lounge, that has music and events. Also the assortment of fun activities. From arcade games, batting cages, hoops and the Golf simulator. This venue is a great spot for kids and adults! I especially loved their selection of NA drinks, as someone who doesn't drink so impressive and I appreciated the wonderful service. The bartender was amazing and so helpful. Our first time here and I'll be back for the music and fun activities! I enjoyed the 4 food trucks and all the seating. They had Japanese, Mexican, Fisherman's and Meat n Bounty. I can't wait to come back at night and enjoy the music, they also have bingo, trivia and karaoke. Great spot in Eugene for fun! I think it would make a great date night spot. read more

I've been here twice for trivia and I love this spot! It's so fun, family friendly, and a great place to meet new people and hang out with friends. So happy Play Eugene is here! This is both a great spot to bring your kids (young or teen) but also a great spot to set up and get some work done. For young kids they have a play area with pretend kitchen, books, and toys. For older kids there is a batting cage, big jenga, pinball, shuffle board and corn hole. Wow! Cool new spot in Eugene for widdling away a few hours for fun and play. We are pinball enthusiasts and chose this spot specifically for that reason. They have 5 great machines in a relaxed environment with plenty of light, and fresh vibes, and every bartender we've encountered has been pleasant. PLAY has a lovely relaxed atmosphere which appears to be great for families and children which is good for them, but if you don't like children, you may want to stay away. read more

Easy parking. Big inside with plenty of seating. There are QR codes on the tables so you can order from your phone, or if you want the food trucks are right outside the building. There are kid friendly options at the food trucks and a different variety of foods available for choice. High chairs are available and booster seats. Wide variety of beer and ciders. We've visited Play several times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and drinks. This time, we decided to try out the golf simulator experience. We had booked a tee time for 8pm, which was supposed to last for an hour. While waiting, we noticed that the golf area was empty, so we asked the bartender if we could start our session earlier. He agreed, even checking the schedule to see if anyone was scheduled to use the area and we began playing before our scheduled time. After about 40 minutes, the bartender came over and told us we had only 5 minutes left, which was incorrect since we had booked for an hour. My husband spoke with the General Manager, who was dismissive and rude. She insisted that we were supposed to start at 8pm and implied that it was our fault for starting early. She mentioned that someone else wanted to use the space and offered a refund, but did so by taking money out of her own wallet and the tip jar, which we found very unprofessional. We even spoke to the people who wanted to book the space, and they were more than happy to wait until we were finished since they showed up late. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the poor handling of the situation by the management. read more

Only thing I was disappointed about was the advertised burger and brew deal on Wednesday night. When I asked the bartender about it, I was told that when I buy a burger from the food cart, I'd be given a ticket for a beer. So, I went and purchased a burger, and they gave me a ticket. When I came back in to get my beer, I was told that it's a dollar off a beer. Not a free beer. NO WHERE on their website does it say a dollar off of a beer. I've worked in the service industry for over 40 years, and EVERY TIME I've seen a burger and brew special offered, it means that the beer is free! Everything else was great. The food the entertainment, the ambience. Just didn't like the deceptive advertising. read more
