This review is about one thing: a delicious 7" "mini" pepperoni pizza and refillable drink for $12.65. Cheesy. Big pepperoni slices. Crispy around the edges. Just a really good little pizza. Pizza is way too subjective for me to call any one place "the best." Thin crust, thick crust, sauce, cheese, toppings--we all have our thing. But I do think there's a short list of pizzas worth knowing about, and this one belongs on mine. There are quite a few other pizza options if your pizza palate is more adventurous. Oh yeah, for an extra fee, there's also an indoor putt-putt course, laser tag, a pool room, and an arcade. Been to Putters many times and all in all a pretty good experience! BUT tonight letting kids play lazer tag what a rip! You can only sign up for ONE session at a time and half of the play time is taken up with staff giving instructions about the game and putting on the gear! Then bought another session and kids had to come out and take off gear just to come back in and received the same instructions for play and put gear back on which again took up almost half of the 35 minute session! Each session is 12 dollars which is understandable, if the got to play the entire session time! read more

Very disrespectful to their patrons. Went in for a date night with my wife. We played a round of mini golf and then bought an arcade card to play some games. We had racked up over 200 tickets playing skee ball, basketball, etc. So far we were enjoying ourselves. We played the coin drop game and were able to push over a tower and get several bonuses and racked up over 500 tickets on the drop alone plus another 200 or so in bonuses. We checked our ticket balance and it hadn't registered any of the tickets from the coin drop. I went to a worker there who told us since we had no "proof" of that many tickets that she couldn't justify giving us the full amount. She only gave us a partial credit (way less than half of what we were owed). Who knew we needed to record ourselves winning so many tickets to "prove" we weren't liars?! We still had money left on our arcade card and had been planning to order dinner there, but the whole experience soured us from patronizing them any further and we left. We aren't sure we will return to spend the rest of our credit on the arcade card, or redeem tickets we had accrued (minus a few hundred). It was just very disrespectful. read more

Bathrooms had mold, which was disappointing. Avoid the key prize game I got the key in the hole and didn't win. Putters is usually the go to place for a good time. The mini-golf is always fun as well as the indoor playground for the kids. With that being said, I've had a rough experience with their food specifically from what I think could be the chicken. Went for the first time yesterday for grand daughters birthday party. Come for the fun, NOT the pizza. There is a lot to do, arcade, laser tag, pool, and of course mini golf. All of these are an extra cost. They have a couple nice play structures for kids 5-10 years old that are "included". I bought 3 of their large pizzas; cheese, chicken BLT and Honolulu. I had pieces of each but not the cheese. Both the Honolulu and the Chicken BLT were tasteless. No herbs or spices. Really just lackluster. For $40 each, I expected waaaay more. I have to say their customer service was very good. The cheese pizza when it came looked burnt and I mentioned it kinda under my breath. It was for the littles (6 year olds) and you know how they can be. As the server was leaving he asked if I'd like another pizza. I mentioned it was really up to the kids and how they liked it. Also up at the register, cashier was very helpful. The party was at 12:30, so early in the day. Bathrooms were clean. Server was taking the multi garbage cans out as we were leaving. Would definitely visit again. We went with a group of 7 adults and one child. Employees were friendly. Food is good(a little pricey) We tried 4 pizzas, breadsticks, romaine house salad, mozzarella sticks, boneless wings, and fries. Everything was good and came with dipping sauces without having to ask. The arcade area definitely needs some repair. A lot of the games weren't working at all, or appeared to be working but would just take your credit and then not work. Laser tag was closed, which was a little disappointing since we saw an ad for a laser tag deal on Thursday's. Mini golf was fun! Not any special theme or anything, but the course is fun and I would do it again. We heard an employee say "if you're in the building we won't kick you out" and that was indeed true. Do people not understand what a tip is!? A tip is a PERSONAL thank you between a customer and a provider. It is a thank you for service. Originally it meant 'To Insure Prompt Service'. But nowadays it has been reduced to nothing more than panhandling. I go to pay with a debit card and the card scanner pops up with a question asking me how much I want to tip! Holy Crap! - that is the rudest damn thing! To think that you're ENTITLED to a tip just for being there! No to mention there is a tip jar right next to the scanner! So I stand there and wait for it to go away. The lady tells me I need to push a button. I told her I thought it was pretty damn rude to put customers on the spot, to try to shame them into paying tips and I pushed the 'no tip' button. I mean c'mon! You're working a freakin cash register. It's not like you dragged my suitcase up a flight of stairs or something. People should not be so stuck mentally on being entitled! This is exactly what it sets out to be. No more, no less, no surprises. It is indoor mini golf that neither aspires to be grand, nor fails to be fun. It is a handful of arcade games, including skiball (hooray). It is pizza that tastes similar in style to Roaring Rapids or Tracktown (much much better than Tracktown though, that place is bad). Went there for a birthday party. I ordered a medium Greens keeper and a medium Putters Combo. Absolutely the best pizza I have had in years. They were very generous on their toppings. Service was timely and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will be back even if is to pick up a pizza to goi on my way home. read more

Fat discord mod kicked me off golf course for accidentally hitting my ball into the water spout, when he came up to me because he saw me having trouble with the net, he didn't want to help. He asked me to get a new ball and eventually got so upset with me. That he kicked me from the course. I don't know who you are but get this guy fired, you will be seeing my lawyers your four eyes POS. When I asked if the ball was in play he started yelling at me. I don't know why they would hire someone like him who loses his patients over a paying costumer. He yelled at my 5 yo son as well. Whatever you do, do not have a birthday party here. I rented out the large party room and had called several times prior to my daughters birthday to ensure all details were covered. They said I could arrive early to set up the room, however when I did, the room was still occupied by an entire party. I didn't panic at first because I arrived at 3:45pm and the guests would arrive at 5:30. The staff assured me that they would let the party know they would need to leave in order to buss the tables, clean and vacuum to be ready for the next occupants. They told me that the room would be ready at 4pm. At 4pm the room was still occupied and I kindly let the guests know I needed the room. From there I had to bus the remaining tables, then find a spray bottle and rag to clean every single table and every single chair along with moving the tables and chairs back into place. I went to the front to ask if they had a vacuum (at this point I knew nobody was going to clean the room), and they rudely just responded that they are aware of the room needed cleaned, but are super busy. The cleaning person finally came around 4:45 and I had already cleaned everything, the only thing left was vacuuming. I was sweating from running around and still had to decorate and get ready for guests. I ordered 6 large pizzas at 5:07pm and the staff informed me that turnaround time was around 25 minutes. Fast forward to 6:30pm and the pizzas still hadn't arrived. When we went to inquire, they had no idea where are order was and I was in full panic mode having a room of over 30 people and hungry 6 year olds. They finally figured out that all 6 pizzas were given to another party!!! No sense or urgency or apology, just "it will be another 25 minutes." I was humiliated having to go back to my party to tell everyone that they had lost our order and it would be another 25 minutes. No manager came by to apologize, no comping on my final bill. I'm sure if I did let a manager know, they wouldn't care either so what would be the point? This place is a complete nightmare and though my daughter still had a fine day since she's 6 and fine playing in the meantime, it completely ruined a day I spent weeks planning. Steer clear of this place if you unless you're ready to do a lot of cleaning and have to worry about your food arriving. Defy may cost a little more, but your party will run super smooth and the staff is helpful and friendly. read more

My boyfriend and I come here for affordable dates sometimes -- mini golf and the arcade. I've also done lasertag here, which is fun. The mini golf is pretty affordable, $5.50 each for students. The arcade is alright, but the majority of games aren't really arcade games, more just like teaching kids how to gamble (claw machines, spinning a wheel to get tickets, etc.). The place was also very understaffed the last time we were there. We waited at the counter to pay for mini golf for about 5 minutes before someone came over to help us. They also have arcade, pizza, laser tag and a kids play room so this seems like it would be really fun to take kids to and just hang out (as two adults with no kids I was okay just doing mini golf and heading on out). I absolutely love that this place is still around. I first came here when my son was 13 and it was the only place that had great pizza, a place to play for the children with a inside playground, and miniature golf for the whole family. We recently had my daughters birthday party there and the employees were so helpful and made it a great day for the whole family. Even if you don't go here for a party, you must try their pizzas they are by far the best in Eugene and the prices are great. Win, win. read more

I have been going here for many years for kids Birthday parties, including my own boy's Birthday's. They are all now grown, but I am still invited to Birthday parties here. I think it is a great location for a kids party. They have laser tag, play ground, arcade, and mini golf. I might have missed something like air hockey or something. I am not sure. But what I do know is the kids have fun, and it is a great location. The pizza has greatly improved over the years. When they first opened it was horrible, but over the years it has gotten really good. That is a lot coming from me. I am picky about my pizza. This last time we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. It was impressive. I did feel like they were a little under staffed. I kind of felt bad for them. The place was slammed. I saw tables that needed bussing really bad, and people needed places to sit. I have seen them store ice cream, or ice cream cakes for people until they are ready to use them. So that is a plus. The downfall of this place is the germ fest, and also the parking lot. The parking lot is not only a night mare because of close quarters, but I always hear of theft. Thankfully nothing has ever happened while I was there, but the neighborhood that is near is not a very good one. So word to the wise, do not leave valuable items in your vehicle while inside. read more

The pizza here is okay if getting the right type of pizza. The cheese pizza was a bit of bland and not to appetizing, but I did have a chance to try their veggie pizza with artichoke on it and it was actually good. I went here for my nephews's 11th birthday today. We had friends and family that took up 4 tables. I was very impressed with how organized they are. All the tables are reserved by time slots. There were so many parties going on. It was super loud, but my brain didn't seem to mind. It is such a joy to see so many happy little kids getting so much attention. This is a place for kids! The pizza was good and there were lots of healthy choices for salad. Soda drinks were bottomless. I just hung out with some family while others went to play laser tag. Apparently they won 3 rounds against another team. The tag is bought by reserving a time slot as well. Everyone gets a plastic card. They also had a huge climbing play structure for the little ones. We didn't have any with us, but there were certainly a lot of kids enjoying it. Big slides and such. As the name implies, it does have the miniature golf course. I think my nephew did play. Looking for something fun to do with your friends or family? We played 18 holes and it was so fun we decided to play the other course of 18 holes. Most of the course was shaded by large trees and there are a lot of water features and a waterfall you walk under on one of the courses. My husband beat me on both courses but I dont mind losing to him as long as we have a fun game. read more

Laser tag is the only decent thing about this place and it's fairly spendy. Hardly anyone seems to enjoy their job, mopey faces, rude, and eye rolling when you ask a question. The pizza is just fair, it takes forever to get through a game of golf, too many people in a group, should probably be a limit of four and the game center seems to have tightened their games. You know what I am talking about, where the windows are wet with condensation and the air is slightly warm and on the thick side? BUT, there is a good reason for sweaty windows and the unlimited, free of charge tweener B.O. So all that aside, let's talk about Putters and what it has to offer as an eating establishment and family fun center! THE FOOD: I will say the pizza is damn good, it has that thin crust, where the cheese goes all the way to the ends, the bottom is covered in cornmeal and the pepperoni is just about over cooked, but not quite. YUM! Everyone I was with loved the pizza and the most of us thought mozzarella sticks weren't bad either. You can get beer and wine as well, which is a plus for parents, who frequent this place for birthday parties and the like. I will say though, I feel like the prices are a skosh high for a pizza place; 2 pizzas, an order of mozzarella sticks and 6 sodas cost over 50 dollars. Ouch. THE GAMES: This place has it all. An indoor mini-golf course, looks pretty legit and clean. Not much supervision though, but things seemed to be moving smoothly. There is also laser tag, if you're into that sort of thing! Seems reasonably priced and the group of 11 year old boys I was with had a freakin' blast! There is a room off to the side with pool tables, and a whole area of arcade games. The games were all in working order and I noticed the staff was quick on reacting when something would go wrong. There was also a play ground area in the back. I didn't get to see the area, but it looked like it was more for little kids, which offers a good option for parents with little ones. I did notice there were not many arcade games for small kids. I had my 3 year old niece with me and we found ourselves looking for games to play that would be age appropriate, which was kind of a bummer. We did rack up some tickets tho and went home with a shiny new plastic bracelet and a press on tattoo. SCORE, huh?! :) Lets face it, Oregon lacks any real amusement parks and/or childrens entertainment venues, that other states have. We had to constantly ask the employees to fix the games because they aren't working and I asked to file a formal complaint and the management on duty said that there is nothing he could do and said sorry. We had to get other families to sign up for laser tag because they have a 4 person minimum and wouldn't let my 2 boys play unless they had more people and that we had to wait 2.5 hours before they would allow the kids to play laser tag. Thankfully other people were frustrated with the arcade and joined in to play laser tag so we only had to wait 1 more hour. I won't be coming to this place again, I'd rather go elsewhere to spend time with my family instead of dealing with the problems here! read more

I was disappointed in the video games- at least 1/3 of them had "Out of Order" signs, and most of the other ones were 50¢ or $1 to play, not much for 25¢. 2 of the games took my quarters and didn't even work. We just had our six-year-old son's birthday party at Putters, and it was an awesome experience. We had two tables reserved by the indoor playground, which is large and roomy and kept our party guests entertained for almost two hours. For older kids, Putters also has laser tag, arcade games, and an indoor miniature golf course, and they have several party packages that allow you to tailor your party to your particular kid -- for small kids like mine, you don't wind up paying for laser tag or anything else you don't want or need. Their pizza actually tastes good, which is more than you can say for places like Papa's Pizza or Chuck-E-Cheese, and they also have a menu with salads, mozzarella sticks, chicken strips, etc. Beer too! The entire place is immaculately clean, and the employees are fantastic -- friendly, prompt, helpful. They were willing to provide whatever I needed -- a freezer for the ice cream, a knife to cut the cake, etc. From the time I called to reserve my party space to the time I paid the bill, I had nothing but good experiences with the staff. Whenever I think of going to putters I think of the lazer tag. It is two full stories of lazer tag action and you always feel content with the amount of time you get in there. My biggest complaint is that they need to install an AC in there or something. You get sooooo hot and sweaty it can get nasty. There are plenty of places to hide to defend your base. They also have special abilities you can gain while playing. The "energizer" feature allows players to recharge their teammates energy/life and the "degenerizer" mode allows each player to take the full life So besides having fun lazer tag, the places actually has good pizza. We got the bbq chicken and it was a good mix and match of chicken, tasty bbq sauce, red onion, cheddar cheese. Add a pitcher from Oakshire and your ready to roll. This place is pretty fun overall. A fun place to hang out in Eugene for lazer tag, good pizza, and watching sports. read more

Indoor midget golf (wait, am I supposed to call that something more PC nowadays?), bowling, laser tag, and pizza all in one place! Heaven for kids, especially in winter. Prices are reasonable. The pizza is parlor style, not exactly 'gourmet' like the name says, but comparable to something like Papa's pizza. The seating is kind of depressing, with long tables like you're actually at a kid's table. Fortunately they serve beer including micro brews! Yay! What I like best about this place is that they do the occasional fundraiser, where a certain percentage goes to charity, but I have to say that they are very poorly organized when it comes to those events. Many employees won't know about it, between several of them they can't figure out how to record the donation amount and last time I went to one, the amount donated seemed WAY too little considering how much our own portion was (a third of the final amount), and how many other people there were. Should've clearly been much higher, and I think that's all a matter of staff incompetence. For a charity event I'd probably go to Papa's who do a lot, judging by the flyers I see around but Putters is definitely a top choice for indoor fun for kids in winter. read more

This could be the best pizza I've ever had. I should clarify...I don't eat food on a regular basis. We have a rocky relationship. It has had me over 100 pounds heavier and I've avoided it to the point of obsession before giving in to it wholeheartedly...just a rocky relationship. I try, with varying success, to avoid the stuff except when a lack of energy or gnawing pain forces me to consume it. I do, however, think about it constantly. Typically, I'll savor a few bites of something decadent and load up on veggies or sashimi. I have not, prior to Putters, eaten a whole piece of pizza for at least three years. This pizza was so good, I had my normal bite and then, after loading up on a tasty salad, I ate a whole piece. It was like Round Table, only so much better. Seriously awesome pizza.
