I don't know where to start without crying. On January 10, 2019, I was burning up with a fever and had the worse pain in my breast following surgery in August at a well known hospital in Arizona. I was at home in Newport Beach and asked a friend for a referral to a breast Dr. I called the Dr but it was after hours. The operator asked if I wanted to speak to the Dr "on call". I said I would. I just wanted to know if I could take Advil for whatever was causing me to be so sick and in pain. Dr Elliott returned my call immediately and he asked me several questions regarding my symptoms. He then told me to come to his office the next morning and to expect it to be a long day. I arrived at his office in extreme pain and met his front office gal, Chris, who was so empathetic and caring. She had me sit down and get off my feet. She asked me if I needed water but I had my own with me. Next I met Dr Elliott, who was so amazing. He examined me and immediately called several Drs while I was there in the exam room. He told me he set up appointments for an ultrasound and to walk across the hallway to the radiologist that specializes with breasts. Within 10 minutes I was having an ultrasound which detected fluid in my breast and aspirated 200 cc's of necrotic fluid which resulted in having surgery on my breasts. I ended up having MRSA, a 5 day hospital stay, 2 weeks of infusions and off work for 9 weeks. Dr Elliott was the key to finding out what was wrong with me. I can't say enough about this man. He was like the Angel that I needed who showed up in my life at the right time. He also sent me to an infectious disease Dr who determined the proper medications I should take throughout my treatments. My family has been a client of Dr Elliott for years and they would not go anywhere else. Most recently, my girlfriend went to see Dr Elliott to determine the best course of action with tightening her skin on her neck. Upon examination, Dr Elliott felt something that wasn't right and told her to have her primary physician check this immediately. Once her primary checked her neck, he was unable to feel anything but once she informed him that her plastic surgeon had felt something, he consulted with a ENT and sent her for a CT scan. Long story, short, what came back from the CT scan was a cyst that required immediate surgery. If it wasn't for Dr Elliott, she would have never known. Just a PERFECT overall experience for Breast Reduction! I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Elliott or his amazing compassionate staff. I was given Dr Elliott's name not only from a friend but also from my primary Dr. With both aligned I didn't have to look further for my breast reduction Dr~ and am SO GLAD I followed my gut and moved forward with using him. Dr Elliott was not only knowledgeable but also so kind. He listened to my concerns and assured me that he'd do his best. We had detailed discussions on the process he was going to use and everything was exactly as he explained it to me ~ NO SURPRISES! When surgery was completed he called daily to check on me and to ensure that I was comfortable; he even scheduled a last minute SUNDAY appointment for me (cutting his own "free time" for me). My process was simple, though very time consuming -- read up as much about surgery as possible, read every Yelp entry with 4+ stars for a surgeon in Orange County, consult with as many of them as possible (in my case, I met with no less than 8), ask as many questions and finally, choose someone and hope for the best. I was a repeat patient but no more business from me!!! He and his staff (except for Chris) really don't care about you especially the girl that sits down with you and gives you the quote. I think her name was Tanya. She is lazy and wants you to do her job. I personally had to call the hospital to get something in writing regarding how much they were going to charge me for the lab. Isn't that her job? Instead she gave me the phone number to call because she said it wasn't her job. I have NEVER been to a doctor's office where I paid over $6,000 for a procedure that I had to do their job!!! I had a situation where he knew what to do to help me but was afraid if something happened I was going to blame him. I had an issue from a prior surgery to remove a benign lump on my breast, this surgery was done by a completely unrelated surgeon not affiliated with Dr. Elliot or his office. I was referred to Dr. Elliott from my PCP for a Breast Reduction. From the first call to their office to set up my consultation, I could tell that they were very professional. Kris, who works at the front did any excellent job in explaining what I could expect in my first meeting with Dr. Elliott. When I met Dr. Elliott, he immediately made me feel comfortable by addressing all of my concerns, thoroughly explaining the procedure and even going over in great detail all the pros and possible cons of my treatment and recovery. At no point did I feel pressure to move forward. However, I felt that I was given enough information and felt comfortable in moving forward. Tanya, who took care of the scheduling of my surgery and payments was also very informative, explaining my options and working with my schedule. Fast forward to my surgery- Dr. Elliott and his staff did an excellent job in keeping in touch with me to make sure that any of my concerns were addressed prior to my procedure. Luckily, everything turned out just has Dr. Elliott has explained. I has a follow up with Dr. Elliot the day after surgery which was the first time I saw the results... and I could not be more impressed. The results actually exceeded my expectations. I am now a little over 2 months post surgery and am still very just as impressed by the service I received. I have had multiple follow ups since my surgery and on each visit I am still greeted in the same friendly manner by Kris, who I am now very comfortable with and still receive the same level of attention and concern by Dr. Elliott. Dr. Elliott & his staff are absolutely fantastic. He truly has the best front office staff I have ever dealt with at a doctor's office. Chris & Tania are incredibly nice, professional, organized, and they are so efficient with scheduling that I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes upon arrival. (Chris even showed up 30 minutes before they opened to accommodate my demanding schedule). They handled setting up all the paperwork, coordinating surgeries, and lab work between my PCP and Dermatologist which made the whole process run smoothly. I saw Dr. Elliott for reconstructive surgery on some skin cancer on my face and I couldn't be happier. He educated me on the procedure and gave me all the tools that I needed to make a confident decision about my own healthcare. I first came to Dr. Elliott a little over 6 months ago after being jerked around by two previous surgeons. His knowledge and demeanor were a breath of fresh air. I came to get my severe diastasis recti repaired, a stomach muscle separation that resulted after I gave birth to a large baby over two years ago. He sketched an illustration of what a stomach without a separation looks like, what my stomach looks like, and how he would repair it. So informative! He worked with insurance so that I only had to pay for the tummy tuck portion of the surgery. All along the way, Terry worked with me and my HMO insurance to keep me informed about costs and where she was at with approvals. She went above and beyond to help with things like pre-op appointments when insurance was being a stinker. Then for the paperwork, of course, there is tons of paperwork to sign before a major surgery that requires an overnight stay in the hospital!! I began to get nervous, but my body needed to be repaired and I knew Dr. Elliott was more than capable. I am happy to report that at 12 weeks post-surgery, there were NO complications. My scar is healing beautifully and I still can't believe how much flatter my stomach is. I no longer look 5 months pregnant!! (Anyone with Diastasis can relate I'm sure!) I had started to believe after living with the distended gut for so long that it was my fault (thanks in part to one of the previously seen darling surgeons telling me this.) I believe that the combination of Dr. Elliott being a skilled surgeon AND the amazing aftercare were the one-two punch to a successful surgery. Trust - I have been a patient of Dr. Elliott's for over 15 years and I recently decided to remove my breast implants. I had my original breast augmentation performed by Dr. Elliott 14 years ago. When I informed Dr. Elliott that I wanted to have them removed, he consulted with me about the procedure and what my breasts will look like after the surgery. It has been 7 months post surgery and I feel fantastic and look fantastic. He performed a breast lift and removal. I did not have a lot of scar tissue and the implants were in great condition after the removal. I attribute that to the original surgery performed by Dr. Elliott. My breasts look natural and I feel so much better in my clothing. I am petite and now I feel much more youthful and healthy. Dr. Elliot is a possibly the most brilliant RECONSTRUCTIVE cosmetic surgeon in the US. But if you are looking for a surgeon to do a huge vanity project on your body and/or face, you may want to look elsewhere. He'll take your money and do a superb job on your basic buff and polish, but there will be no enthusiasm on his part. My sense is that his heart lies with burn victims, breast cancer victims, anyone who has ACCIDENTALLY become a cosmetic victim of our modern, industrial world. No tea and sympathy here for thickened, menopausal ladies. He's given new life to the lost and you'll get the impression (rightly so?) that your Lipo project is a bit of a toss off. Don't get me wrong, Dr. Elliot is a good man and a great surgeon, but he's also a bit of a crusader. So somehow your sub-cutaneous fat, sagging ass, tits and jowls will leave you feeling like a tedious whiner after consulting a cosmetic surgeon of this caliber. read more

Dr. Elliott and his staff are great, esp. Chris, his long-time nurse/assistant. Very professional yet warm, Dr. Elliott is very gentle and caring. My second surgery with him was set on a Friday, and even if he visited me at the hospital right after my surgery to make sure everything was okay before discharge, he also called me that night and made me go to his clinic the following day. At first, I got frightened as I thought something went wrong, esp. when I got to the clinic and realized that there was nobody else there but him. Then I found out that he really doesn't have clinics on Saturdays, but he just wanted to make sure that everything was okay with me past the 24 hours and away from professional hospital care. Really amazing concern! As for Chris, from my very first visit, she had always been very attentive to my needs. She helped me feel very comfortable and at ease... walked me through every step of the way, including completing and filing of Disability forms. With her ever-smiling face and gracious nature, she made everything seemed so easy and worry-free. And even away from the office, I would call, Chris would always have the answer. If not, she would promise to ask Dr. Elliott and get back to me right away.... and she would! What's more? I believe most everybody in Orange County know about Dr. Elliott. I was amazed and pleased to hear so many overwhelming, positive remarks from doctors, associates, and former patients. Dr. Elliott was highly recommended to me by my step mother who has worked in the plastic surgery industry for years. She said that Dr. Elliott was the best and that his work was always beautiful, and that I should go there to repair my diastasis recti (she never worked there). 8 weeks ago I had surgery on my arms to reduce my creppy skin and the extra flapping skin all women seem to have no matter how thin we are. In addition I had lipo on my stomach at the same time. My results are awesome. My arms look like a teenagers and my stomach is as flat as one too. the scars on my arms are hardly noticeable and there are no scars on my stomach.
