Dr. Smith was the first of three consultations I had for a mommy makeover after losing 130 pounds. I've never had cosmetic surgery before so the idea of having these procedures (breast lift with lipo and tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks) was nerve wrecking, I was looking for any reason to back out! I had such a great first impression of Dr. Smith, there was no going back! Talking with him, hearing the care that he genuinely has for his patient's health and well-being, made me even more firm in my decision to go through with it! Dr. Smith was so patient in explaining the process and what I could expect as a realistic outcome. I also loved how conservative he was with the procedures he was willing to do in one surgery (he wouldn't do a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time), he definitely wasn't trying to upsell his services and truly seemed to care and prioritize my health. After he explained his reasoning, there was no way that I would trust going to a different surgeon who was willing to do both in the same surgery (One of the three consultations was, and that was an automatic no for me). Growing up, I was always the friend with the bigger chest and I was always self conscious about it. It wasn't until after college that my breast grew exponentially. I was a 32 DDDDD. I experienced back, neck and shoulder pain on the daily. I researched and I found out insurance can cover this surgery if deemed medically necessary. I spoke to my primary doctor and she agreed surgery would benefit me. Previously to Dr Andres Smith, I had a consultation with a well know doctor based in Los Alamitos. I was suffering from back pain, shoulder pain and a continuing rash on my chest for over 20 years. I was considering breast reduction surgery but I was afraid and unsure of what the outcome would be.
