Growing up, I was always the friend with the bigger chest and I was always self conscious about it. It wasn't until after college that my breast grew exponentially. I was a 32 DDDDD. I experienced back, neck and shoulder pain on the daily. I researched and I found out insurance can cover this surgery if deemed medically necessary. I spoke to my primary doctor and she agreed surgery would benefit me. Previously to Dr Andres Smith, I had a consultation with a well know doctor based in Los Alamitos. Where do i begin? As a 56 year old women, and recently losing 65 lbs, I definitely could use a little makeover. My original breast Aug was 33 years old and my eyes were looking pretty tired. I was suffering from back pain, shoulder pain and a continuing rash on my chest for over 20 years. I was considering breast reduction surgery but I was afraid and unsure of what the outcome would be. I came to a point where I felt I had to take a chance to get relief from the weight of my large breasts. I had my surgery in August of 2019 and my immediate results exceeding all my expectations. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome and really wish I would have had this surgery many years ago. I asked for a breast reduction for the first time when I was 12 years old... I went to Dr. Smith really unhappy with how my breast looked after having three babies following a breast augmentation and lift back in 2016. My weight has fluctuated through the years and my breast had become very heavy,saggy, and they were also asymmetrical. I wanted to to have explant surgery and really go down in size with a lift for a more natural look. Everyone at the office is extremely helpful and happy to be there the energy across the board from the very beginning made me feel as if I was in good hands and I was. I had my surgery and am very happy with the results. I did have a small opening that was leaking some fluid and I called them they were very responsive and concerned. The receptionist called 3x to follow up with me and how I was doing followed by a call from Dr Smith. Office of civil rights #2486500 Medical Board of California #8002021078961 This doctor is currently under review from the Medical Board of California- Enforcement. Couple of weeks after the surgery I informed him about the pain discomfort and a complete abnormality. I made multiple appointments and called him after the surgery. I went to see him again and again explaining something was wrong and condescendingly he will send me back on my way. Be aware, the minute he has your money he doesn't care what so ever, what your concerns are nor is he willing to fix the problem. He will body shame you and blame it on you, that your body is deformed. When you have questions or concerns after your surgery both him and his office manager Katrina are liars, condescending, dismissive and beyond rude. Unless you pay him another $6000 or $7000. He will not release your medical records. He absolutely does not have any artistry in him. If you are looking for a fine job he will not be able to deliver it. The board has forced him to release the medical records. There is another review with one star that you can see the total similarities on how he deals with patients that have understanding and questions.
