I am officially one week out from a Tummy tuck with diastasis recti and hernia repair. After 4 Csections I knew this was something I really wanted and needed to do for myself. Dr. Cat is the most talented and gentle plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. I had submental liposuction done and will be going back for lipo 360 w/bbl in a couple months. I had a lot of asymmetry in the jawline area and it's pretty much even and symmetrical now all thanks to Dr. Cat! The consultation process was informative and she was able to answer all the questions I had. She is super professional but also very kind. I never felt like she was being overly critical of my body, more just telling me what could be improved, which is why I wanted to get liposuction done in the first place. She also informed me that unfortunately I could not get submental lipo and lipo 360 done at once due to their different healing processes which is a testament to how much Dr. Cat cares about your healing journey after surgery. I came to see her a while back and I ended up going with Dr. David E Kim. I was looking forward and excited to finally meet Dr.Catherine and I'm a girls girl but I honestly didn't feel that from her as a human. I love girls but her vibes weren't as warming as it may look on social media. It was a disappointment but glad to find out. I feel woman should support each other and not make someone feel less. I went to Dr. Cat for labiaplasty in June of this year. It's taken me a while to write this review because I've struggled to find the words to describe what a life changing experience this was for me. I've wanted to have labiaplasty for over 10 years. I sat down to start researching Dr's online and was overwhelmed! I spent hours researching, comparing Dr's, comparing techniques, comparing results, and getting quotes. Every time I came back to Dr. Cat's website. When I finally got the courage (let's be honest this is a very intimate procedure to talk about) to call Dr. Cat's office to schedule a consultation my nerves were put at ease. I knew I was going to see the best of the best for labiaplasty. The day of the consultation I was mostly excited, but I was also feeling shy and even embarrassed at the thought of talking about my vagina! It's ridiculous! As I sat in the room with Amy, we talked about the fact that every woman has a vagina and every vagina looks different, which is a beautiful thing. Amy prepared me for what the exam with Dr. Cat would be like and that there was nothing to be nervous about. I work in healthcare, so I've worked with A LOT of Dr's and I've seen every type of bedside manner. Dr Cat's is impeccable! During the consultation we looked at every nook and cranny of my vagina (I don't think I've ever looked at it that close) and discussed the procedure/technique Dr. Cat created to ensure smooth natural results. Her confidence, clear mastery of labiaplasty and demeanor are why I walked out of that room and booked the surgery. That consultation was the hardest part for me. The rest was easy because the staff is Phenomenal from the nurses to the anesthesiologist. Ladies, when you read this, this is the most important part. On a scale of 1-10 post-surgery, I would rate my pain at a 0! That's the honest truth. This procedure does NOT HURT. Is there discomfort, of course, there is swelling and you've got stitches in your vagina, what would you expect. I haven't had kids but for you ladies that have, I would image that is far more painful and traumatic than this. I took Tylenol, iced and elevated and by the second week I kind of forgot I had surgery. To end, the results... Oh my goodness, my mind was blown. Got a quote for Labiaplasty procedure and was told it starts at 17,000. I find this very ridiculously priced.

I was in drastic need of some help due to a prior breast augmentation surgery and knew I was going to need an expert to fix the problem. I learned about Dr. Cat through Instagram and Snapchat. I was very impressed with her videos and the information she offers on both of these platforms. I finally made the decision to contact her office and make an appointment. As is would turn out, this would be one of the best decisions I had ever made! I had my first appointment (consultation) in September 2019. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in the door. Emily greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. The office was in immaculate condition and I immediately I knew I was in the right place. I was called into the room and met Dr. Cat and Amy for the first time. Their professionalism and kindness was second to none! I was impressed with Dr. Cat's knowledge in the breast augmentation field and discovered I was in need or major corrective action. I was suffering from severe capsular contracture and a few other serious issues. Even though my condition was serious, I felt at ease talking to both Dr. Cat and Amy about the issues and was certain they could help! I scheduled my surgery for November 2019. During my pre-op appointment, I met Julie. She was so kind, polite and knowledgeable. She covered every aspect of the surgery with me and told me what to expect during the recovery period. I left my pre-op appointment with confidence, a smile, and knowing everything was going to be OK. My surgery date finally arrived and so began my 9 1/2 hour procedure. Yes, I said 9 1/2 hours! My husband stayed with me for the night and they were accommodated to him as well. They continued to check up on me throughout the night and made sure I was comfortable. I woke up in the morning and they took me to Dr. Cat's office for my first post-op appointment. I was in a decent amount of pain (which was to be expected after such a major procedure and the amount of scar tissue that had to be removed from my previous surgery), but Dr. Cat and Julie kept me calm and confident about my recovery. I was so very grateful for their kindness and calmness. They put me at ease and made sure I had everything I needed when I left for home to begin my recovery. I had a free 15-minute consultation with a member of Dr. Cat's team in which I was given a quote for a revision tummy tuck between the range of 50-75k not including the anesthesiologist. On other review sites I had seen her revision listed between 15-20k. I'm very surprised that they would quote so much over industry standards. My journey to Dr. Cat Begovic started June 26, 2013 when I had Gastric Sleeve. I was instructed to wait 2 years before I hade any skin removed. I live the the SF Bay Area and waited for about 6 months to start researching for the perfect surgeon. I got lots of recommendations for local Doctors but I would read reviews and look at before and after photos and I was never 100% happy. Not even enough to call to make a consultation. One day I stumbled across Dr. Begovic on Instagram on another one of her patients pages. I started research on her and I did so for over a year. Reading ever single review I could find and looking at every picture I could find. Not 1 review that I found was negative or had less than 5 stars. Not 1 photo was disappointing. Than one day she posted a before and after of another patient and that did it. I knew she was the one for me. I called to make an apt and she is very busy so it was either wait 3 months for an apt or go in 3 days due to a cancellation. Who ever canceled, I thank them. I took the apt and drove down. Dr. B was amazing throughout the consultation. She explained so much to me. Took her time. Found I had a hernia. Told me my option because I have Kaiser. I opted to have Dr. Mesra perform the hernia repair at the time of my abdominalplasty, which she suggested so I would not have 2 surgeries. Cost me a little more money but who cares. I just had my surgery 2 weeks ago and everything has went perfect. Surgery ran longer than expected but she is a perfectionist and I appreciate that. I was on prescription meds for 2 day and then moved to Extra Strength Tylenol. My pain has never been more than a 3/4 out of 10. Such a surprise. I thought I would feel like I was hit by a truck since most people I know who have had a tummy tuck said that's how they felt. So thankful I didn't. I had drains in. She took 1 out at 8 days and the other today at 13 days but I'm sure that up to your body. I was up and out of the house 5 days post op. Standing straight up under a week. The ladies who work in her office are all wonderful as well. Friendly, professional and helpful in every way. I was in communication with Claribel the most during the pre op stages. She is so sweet and we had a lot of laughs during our phone conversations. She gave me a tremendous amount of relief leading up to surgery. I had three pregnancies with one being a c-section. Overtime, the c-section scar left me very self-conscious about how fat would build up near the scar line which resulted in me always trying to hide or wear only loose clothes. I had cool sculpting performed to help me with that area, which truly didn't help but actually caused more issues. I finally decided I would consider lipo as I swore, I would NEVER get a tummy tuck. In scheduling several consults to review my goals, a couple doctors advised they could do lipo, but I might not like my results; two of the locations didn't even have me meet with the actual surgeon. When requesting to review my goals with the actual surgeon I was informed that they didn't think lipo would be ideal and that I should consider a tummy tuck. I left very disappointed and discouraged as a tummy tuck was not an option, too many concerns and risks in my opinion. I let it all be for a couple of years, then started doing more research and researching plastic surgeons that specialized in tummy tucks to schedule consults. I came across Dr. Cat's IG page and started following her and watching her videos/procedures. I immediately noticed how transparent she was and how meticulous she was with her patients. I then, started scheduling new consults and meet with three different surgeons, one thing was common; I was not a candidate for lipo but would need a tummy tuck. In all of the consults I attended, only one doctor; Dr. Cat was very straightforward and actually told me I had a hernia and large abdominal wall separation. I brought this up when meeting with the other surgeons which afterwards said "Oh, yes, it is very likely you do but this will be addressed during the actual surgery". I again was hesitant about the surgery and discussed all options with my family. Dr. Cat welcomed my family to attend a consult with me to review risks and or concerns that she could address, which we did. After, the 2nd consult and reviewing my top two options and quotes; I made the decision with my families support to book with Dr. Cat. As my daughter said, "Don't cut corners or try to save money, when making a decision to have major surgery on your body"! Dr. Cat and her team were amazing throughout the entire process pre and post-surgery. I am beyond happy with my results and I'm only 3 months post-op. Everything Dr. Cat told me was factual, I only took Tylenol following the procedure which was mainly for the back pain I experienced as I had absolutely NO PAIN from the actual tummy tuck surgery. I do know that while I can afford to see her, I choose not to because I have no idea if she is the right surgeon for what I am looking to do. It's a gamble at that point. Sooo thrilled I found Dr. Cat. I picked her not because I saw her on tv but for the fact that she's a perfectionist. I went in for a consultation because I was feeling a little unhappy with my pandemic jelly belly. I had tried freeze the fat last year. It seemed too good to be true and sadly it was. The fat areas that were treated looked thicker and bumpier underneath the skin, but worst of all I had love handles for the first time in my life. The amazing Dr. Cat not only smoothed out the unsightly jelly belly bumps but now no more handles to love. Just me. I also want to mention that I was so well taken care of before, during and after my treatment. She doesn't rush her patients through to get to her next. I think my initial consultation was over two hours because she wanted to make sure I completely understood the procedure and what I needed to do pre and post op for best results. Most of the negative reviews I see on here are about consult fees or pricing in general... as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Without divulging too much, I am 3 days post op and feeling great. I feel very grateful and blessed to be in the hands of someone as intelligent, thorough, and caring as Dr. Cat. She greeted me with a warm hug on the big day and then even held my hand sweetly as the anesthesiologist put me under, with soft, cheerful music playing lightly in the back round. Such a vibe. I woke up in a little pain but it was mostly gas and because of my time of the month. As far as the procedure itself or any discomfort related to incisions etc I feel WAY better than I expected to feel. She really is gentle and precise. Dr. Cat has followed up with me and my spouse several times to make sure everything is okay, she even FaceTimed with the after care center late at night after working in the OR for hours just to ensure they were following her instructions properly. THIS DOCTOR CARES. Do you know how many doctors check out mentally when they're done? A lot. It seems as though it's not in her nature to even think of such an act. My experience with Dr Cat has been out of this world. She is an angel. She saved me from pain (physically/emotionally) that I had been suffering from. That was caused by a previous labia procedure done with an OBGYN. To help with a tear I had gotten (on the left labia) from when I was a child. I had been jumping on my bed and fell on a upside down plastic stool and never told anyone. Then as I got older, that same side ended up growing longer. My OBGYN said he had done surgeries like this before. To make the labias shorter, but I should have gotten a second opinion. I wish I knew about Dr Cat from the start. Her team at her office are all supportive and nice too. The suturing she did was completely different and left me looking better than normal and from feeling less scarred and violated. Amazing how she fixed what he had done; which were basically baseball stitches that left nubs. It looked like someone butchered me. He did not cut a straight line and cut off too much by my pee area, and left the tear flap that I originally went to him for. It was very upsetting. Dr Cat used many mini internal dissolvable stitches that weren't as painful. She fixed something I didn't think was possible. I am forever grateful and so happy. Now for the rest of my life and each time I wash, I'll feel like a normal woman. Not deformed like I did before... she did a magical surgery. My advice to women out there, from learning the hard way, is to not have a OBGYN do any surgery on your labias, but to have a plastic surgeon give you a consult first. Before I begin, I'd like to express that my rating is based purely on financial. The staff who emailed me were respectful and forthcoming. With that being said, I've been a fan of Dr. Begovic's since she worked with a different network. When her information disappeared from their site, I searched for a bit to find her and then life stole my focus. After locating her online, I decided to reach out for a consultation. However, as with others who've left reviews here, I was met with the $500 consultation fee. No big deal, I told myself because I knew that I'd be booking with her and the fee wouldn't be a loss. My issue is that the fee will not be applied to non-surgical procedures, which is honestly nothing short of paying someone to explain why you should select them. I understand that Dr. Begovic has a lifestyle to maintain, but the fee should be lowered for prospective clients who wish to consult with her regarding non-surgical procedures. I'm unsure if this fee is in place to separate those who present as being able to afford her prices, from those who likely cannot. I really just don't know, but it was disheartening to find someone that I admire professionally erect such a wall. I was searching for the right surgeon to begin my plastic surgery journey, BBL, rhinoplasty and a few smaller things like liposuction under my chin. After doing my research for over a year I had narrowed my search down to 5 surgeons. After meeting with them and having them preform small procedures like Botox and lip filler I quickly narrowed the five down to two, Dr cat being one of the two. I've been following her on Snapchat for years and loved her attention to detail. But I still won't trust my life in someone's hands before I see how they preform a small procedure first. If they can't do your lip filler with precision then don't trust them with your life is my theory. Anyway I flew down to LA to meet with Dr cat, I was excited to go over my plastic surgery plan with her and get some lip filler and Botox to assess her skills first hand. Paying a $350 consultation fee was no problem considering I was expecting to pay over $1,000 for my filler and botox and the consultation fee was supposed to go towards that. Or so I was told! After meeting with her she informs me her assistant had left for the day so she would not be able to do any injections on me that day. I was disappointed sense I had flown all the way to see her. She knew I had come from far away and was only in town for the day to meet her. But she was still one of my top two picks so I chalked it up to bad luck and flew home. I assumed I could make a trip later when she would have an assistant available. But when I called to make my appointment to go back and get my fillers/Botox and use my $350 towards it I was informed that their policy had changed and the consultation fee could now only be used for surgery! You have got to be kidding me! Oh and the consultation fee has gone up to $500! So unless your comfortable blindly putting your life and looks in someone else's hands or just losing money I don't suggest you see Dr cat. My update after dr cat replied: All the other surgeons I met with were more then happy to let me use my consultation fee towards botox or fillers, they understand that people want first hand experience with the surgeon before trusting going under the knife. Also if you are not satisfied with their work then you do not lose money when you decide to not book surgery with them, and the surgeon doesn't lose time or money by meeting with you because your botox and fillers are still going to cost way above what your consultation fee is. It's a win win situation. Or best case you love their work after seeing it first hand and you book your surgery which is the ideal outcome obviously. The way cat has it set up is not a win win situation. You either blindly book a surgery with her without any hands on experience first or you feel uncomfortable doing so (like I did) and you lose your consultation fee because she refuses to let you put it towards anything other then surgery. Either way she wins I guess. But that's not good customer service. That's not a very good way to build trust with potential patients. read more

I first met Dr. Begovic at Athenix Body Sculpting in Pasadena. I was interested in the body sculpting/lipo in which she performed for me with amazing results.
