She's worked wonders on my sinuses and even my bad feet(and, of course, my back). Since I see her every week I've not only become close with Dr. Heather but with her whole family. Based on that information, I continued treatment. The claims were later denied, and I am now being billed $144.54. While I understand that no provider can guarantee insurance payment, patients rely on the information given to them when making care decisions. If I had been clearly informed that coverage would not be approved, I would not have continued services. When I raised this concern, I was referred to the standard paperwork stating services "may not be covered" and directed to address the issue with my insurance company. I have canceled all future appointments. I recommend that patients independently confirm coverage with their insurance provider in writing before continuing treatment, even if the office indicates that billing issues will be resolved.

I waited for almost a half hour before inquiring about my appointment. They spelled my last name wrong, a common mistake for me, unfortunately - an i before e thing . . . I then was taken to my table and waited for Dr. Iannelli for about 20 minutes. I played on my cell, but there was a sign to not, plus to relax. Okay, I put my "pacifier" away as instructed. In floats "Doctor Joe." What a doll baby. (I'm biased to Italians, I must admit - "we" are warm and loving people (in general!). We talked in depth about my issues, concerns, and overall health. He explained exactly what he would be doing (ie - adjustments). He was spot on about where my pain was and told me the exact corresponding vertebrae - so wild! I am very much into alternative medications and holistic healing. Dr. Iannelli gave me post appt instructions and warned me that I might be sore the next day, etc. I followed my instructions (icing and laying flat on a hard floor for 3-5 minutes b/f bed) and even went to bed 1/2 hour earlier (I have terrible sleep hygiene!) and woke up FEELING BETTER.
