He was extremely nice, respectful, understanding, and helpful in answering all our questions. He never once pressured us into a purchase, a HUGE plus! What we appreciate most is his sincerity and absolute honest opinion and knowledge of diamonds. We learned so much about diamonds, that we now educate all our friends. We tell them all the details about diamonds that Mr. Kim taught us....WAY more detail than any other jeweler we went to (mainly because all they cared about was a sale and not the overall quality and investment of a diamond). To us, this was a HUGE investment and we wanted to make sure we were getting the best diamond we could possibly get for our budget. Since we were calling from LA and never got to see the diamond, we had to trust him. We had already seen so many diamonds and did a year of research, so we knew what we were missing was an genuine opinion on what is really a good investment and of course the BEST PRICE. Mr. Kim eliminated any uncertainties and doubts we had. I don't know many people that would do what we did, but with the great communication, GIA report, and Mr. Kim's expertise, we finally settled on a diamond that we LOVED. There was a Tacori setting we were dying to have and Kiky was able to set the diamond on the gorgeous setting for us. He even made sure that the GIA number was showing next to the prongs so that we could inspect it ourselves with a magnifier when we received it (a little piece of mind to verify it was the right diamond on the GIA paper). We received our ring in the mail- certified mail of course. When we opened it.....WE WERE BLOWN AWAY! It was the most beautiful ring we have ever seen. We knew right away that we made the right decision to go with Kiky Jewelers. Right away we took it to a local jewelry place to verify the GIA number. They were very impressed with the diamond and we got it verified. I get soooo many compliments on my ring which always brings a smile to my face. We even recommended a friend to get his engagement ring with Kiky Jewelers as well. He had a great experience with Mr. Kim and found his perfect diamond! I can't wait to see it! First thing I noticed was just how polished and utterly spacious this shop was - something you just won't know passing by in a car. And I also noticed they carried a lot of high end products all set very nicely in their shop. A gentleman greeted me, quickly gave me a price to replace the watch, took it off me and went upstairs to work it. Took a bit less than 10 min and I was done. I asked earlier for polishing but for that he said I would have to leave it there and I wasn't planning on it at this time. If I had known such a shop was right under my nose, I should've gotten my wedding bands done here instead of in the mall. I would always support local and small businesses over chains and national retailers! I heartily recommend everyone getting fashionable jewelries high-end or even more casual, watches, polishing/repairs to go to D'Amore Jewelers. All adjustments were done to specification, and they were smart enough to adjust the length of my bracelet from both sides instead of just from one like I had asked, which keeps the pendant more centered. I also noticed my gold plated chain came back even more shiny and gold so I don't know if it was re-plated or just polished and cleaned but I love it. Great job! And I believe I spent only about a $100 for all three things which was extremely worth it. Turnaround was about a week and they had a good process to set up the pickup to ensure no one can just take your jewelry.
