Great place for real Greek food.i visit this place with my friends n family.all of us had great dinner over there.we got delicious hummus with fresh baked pita chips, Spanakopita and feta n olives.The best feta cheese I had ever. My daughter loves to eat meat n she loved the gyro so much that I got another with extra meat.Exotic chicken with the true combination of grilled vegetables and brown rice was fantastic.love to eat with extra tzatziki sauce.my friends love their home made style cookis, apple pie and baklava. Exceptional value for a criminally under appreciated jewel. The bake goods are easily the best this side of downtown, food is very good, and the best part are the people. I used to live in Spring, and this was one of my favorite places to eat. The family who owns it could not be more lovely. The food is also DELICIOUS! I miss being able to indulge in the decadent greek desserts and yummy entrees and sandwiches. Next time I'm in the neighborhood this is the first place I'll go. My Fella had been here twice and loved it. He took me here tonite for an early dinner and it was great. The best hummus I've ever had. He had the moussaka and I had a gyro. Yummy and a lot of food. Then we split a slice of german chocolate cake that we couldn't finish. We will go back again. Service was sweet, not perfect. Don't let the word Bakery fool you. In addition to excellent desserts, this place has a casual dining atmosphere and reasonably priced Mediterranean/Greek menu. It is family owned with an attentive staff and is well maintained. The food is excellent. I go their just about every week, usually at lunchtime. Love this place! I found it when i was looking for a good gyro. The gyro was a bit disappointing, i prefer the kind that's shaved of a big spinning cone of meat. I go back regularly though for the pita chips and tzaziki. They are AMAZING!!! And the baklava is to die for! All of the pastries and baked goods look great, I just cant make it past that baklava. Theres always i nice puddle of sauce and nuts in the to go container that i put over ice cream. read more

The Euro Bakery & Cafe has excellent food, amazing pita chips, and the best desserts I've eaten in a long time (and I am not afraid of ordering a good dessert). Better than all of this is the friendly service. The owner also happened to be the chef tonight and he came out to talk with us to check on the food and talked respectfully to my kids as if they were VIP customers. I went here for lunch with my gal and the food was really authentic. I had the "Greek Lasagna" and it was really tasty. They also have a lot of yummy pastries and desserts. By the way, do not expect to get the typical expresso drinks here - there's a Starbucks down the street for that. It's nice to try expressos from other regions and cultures once in a while. If you come to dine-in when they are busy, expect a longer than average wait because they seem to be under-staffed at this time. read more

My wife and I tried this place after reading all of the great reviews. This place is GREAT!!!!!!!! I had the Filet Mignon Souvlaki and my wife had the Chicken Souvlaki. We highly recommend both. My husband and I love this place. The owners are wonderful and the food is to live for. If you like desserts that are far from the beaten path - this is the place. The brownie is sinful. The Greek almond cookies are scrumptous. We drive from the Woodlands - the lentil soup works for us since we are vegetarians. The pie had something like a cookie crust. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner after a phone call looking for a Greek chocolate pie. I had been looking all over Houston and I came from Humble, TX. He and his staff we very pleasant and accommodating. I ended up getting a Tiramisu round cake which they made it fresh for me and was a huge success at my event last evening. I found this place from a coupon. So glad i did. My family and I LOVE this place! We love the food and people. We usually order the gyro, pastiscio, and Greek salad for lunch. The Rugellach, canollis, and lemon bars are our favorite from the bakery. The coffee and cream was so good I didn't even need the sugar. Everything is from scratch. If you are not familiar with European style desserts, here is your place to learn them. Their cakes, sold whole or by the slice are SUPERB, so are the Italian pasties, rouglachs, and baklava. It is trully amazing to have this offering in Spring. As a European, I can vouch everything is baked in the best traditions. I have to also mention a few words about the family that owns and runs the place. What a nice, nice people they are! The love and care they put into their cafe and customer service is reflected in the food. You will not be disappointed, give them a try.
