This company is horrendous. Like many of the reviews you see here, we were promised work completed in 6 weeks (redoing a bathroom) and it was "completed" almost 6 months later (24 weeks!) I put completed in quotes because the bathtub spout still leaks and there are a number of issues they promised to fix that have not been fixed yet. After numerous attempts to contact Tony (the now owner of Euro-tech kitchens) to come back and fix these things, he has decided to ghost me instead. I did some digging and saw that their license has expired due to numerous violations. I will be reporting them to the BBB and exploring other avenues to get these issues fixed or compensation. Five Illuminating Stars! I highly recommend this company. Kitchen remodeling is so stressful...especially when you're picky like me! Thank goodness I hired Mike and Tony. To begin with, Mike was the only person I had come out who designed my kitchen remodel and thought outside of the box. His experience brought out an amazing vision and I am so happy! He utilized every aspect of the space. Tony handles the installation and works side by side with Mike. What a pleasure. He is easy to talk to and professional. The workmanship is impeccable down to every last detail. I cannot thank them enough for such a beautiful kitchen. The small details like spacing, sizing, edges and trim- things that you would not think of asking about (because frankly how would we know?) are done properly. Gabino makes the cabinets. He is precise and well educated in his field, just like the rest of the team. These guys work well together because they all have high standards. My kitchen looks like it came out of a magazine. The quality of the products used is superior, as well. Mike even took me shopping for the granite, backsplash, and the appliances. They honestly held my hand through it all. I was asked to re-write my review. In all honesty working with the Eurotech team was not a great experience. I felt overcharged and undercompensated at all turns. Arguments were constant with Mike, and we never had a project manager who was there day to day. Failings included bad tile, poorly installed slab, cabinets that did not fit, gaps, doors that did not align, poor choice of wood patterns. But more importantly is the longevity of the kitchen. It is poor at best. The finish has come off the cabinets,and when I asked about them we were told it is not warranteed. It failed after only a year (clearcoat on maple). Also the doors have had alignment issues. All in all a terrible experience. read more

I did a total kitchen remodel in 2006. I interviewed MANY contractors and kitchen companies. I got bids ranging from $8000 to $50,000 ( I kid you not!). I decided to go with Euro-tech because they came in at mid-price and, more importantly, they had done two of my neighbors kitchens and the neighbors reported very good experiences with them. And, their kitchens looked beautiful! Mike Krause had great design ideas and went with me to help choose flooring and granite for the countertops. He offered to do this which was of great help to me. I'm a single woman and knew NOTHING about remodeling. Thank you Mike! Mike Rohn spent hours with me going through each drawer of each kitchen cabinet designing the interiors. He also helped with cabinet style choices and hardware. In addition, he designed a storage space in my dining room which had not been part of the original design contact. I feel that he charged me a very fair price for it. Thank you Mike! The moral of this story is, that almost 12 years later I'm still getting compliments on my kitchen. The materials have all held up beautifully! Was it a a problem free remodel? No, what remodel is? But the incidental issues got resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. They gave me a time frame of 4 weeks and the job took 5. Fair enough. Everyone treated me fairly and respectfully. Now, I realize that many things could change in 12 years, but for what it's worth, this was my experience. And, c'mon folks, when you sign a contract make sure everything you want is in it from the get go. That's on you. And this company is Euro-Tech KITCHENS. Twelve years ago these people did a great job of remodeling our kitchen. Actually, they made a single "great room" out of the kitchen and adjacent living room. They used top quality cabinetry and hardware. The tile work was well conceived and meticulously installed. Everything has held up beautifully over this time period. Naturally, we thought of them when we wanted some custom cabinets built and installed in another part of the house. I'm glad we called them back for this new work. The quality of their installation was every bit as good as the original job they did for us. My wife and I are delighted with this new construction and still praise them to friends and acquaintances for all their efforts. read more

If there was a negative star.......that's what these guys would get. I know my mom's kitchen was done a few years ago but I had to calm down so I wouldn't use too much profanity....I will pay you to never use these guys and the sad thing is one of these guys lives up the street. Euro-trash is what I nicknamed them. First the Mike who lives up the street came down and sat with my mom and I in the kitchen to write down everything she wanted done. He brought a notepad so I assumed he was writing it down. Unfortunately, through the entire process he was adding things as extras that were already agreed upon. Because I'm a chef, he was sucking up to me--how about warming trays--NO.....how about? NO....Two ovens, farm sink, microwave, rebuild the pantry. Simple kitchen stuff. They gutted the kitchen, blocked off the door to the kitchen and then left with windows and screens off to our house. Just in case the raccoons want to come in and watch t.v.....Subs started parking in the driveway BEFORE my mom went to work. They were told park on the street. Then, they started being rude to my mom who was trying to go to work. Good thing I was at work, that guy would've been in the hospital! Then the tile guy laid the floor the wrong direction--TOO LATE. Then he completely screwed up the back splash, Stevie Wonder could have done better. Re do. Still looks like crap. Whoever hooked up the shower, shower head in the mini bathroom didn't test it. Mother had to pay another plumber to turn the valve going to the head because no water came out. Do we test things before we leave? Duh! After they gutted the kitchen they disappeared for 10 days. Quoted the kitchen would be done within 2 months. We had to pay an interior decorator to babysit them and keep on them to finish the job because they were being idiots....These jerks still have the only key to a door of my mom's house. Seriously? My mom will have to get a locksmith and put a new lock in now. She also has to pay someone to rehang the door that someone put up. They screwed up on the sink/garbage disposal which immediately started leaking......There's so much but mostly they were rude, unprofessional but at least they were smart enough to come by when I was at work because they sure as hell don't want a piece of me. I'm forced to write this as we are two months into a completed job - part of my kitchen and the complete re-do of my master bathroom - things are falling apart. Let me preface this by saying that Euro-Tech did a kitchen for me 10 years ago and it was perfect. House Beautiful amazing. We looked forward to having them into our new home, and have referred them hundreds of thousands of dollars of business. Last week one of the pipes to the toilet they installed leaked THROUGH MY CEILING. After much ado, they sent someone out. Weeks ago, the grout in my shower began cracking. Two days ago, my dishwasher - that I paid them EXTRA to install - started flooding. It was the new air gap that had a major crack, and a piece to the new faucet had cracked. The owner now wants to charge me $200 to fix something that they should guarantee. In the past 4 months, I have been called a LIAR by Euro-Tech. I have been told the items broke because I was abusive to them. (Who would touch the underneath piece of the air gap.) I'm disgusted. The two owners - one is a salesman, which is fine. You get what you get. The other is an unprofessional, cheap miser. During the job, he nickel and dimed me at every turn. For instance, when the guys who resurfaced my cabinets were done, there was obvious color change to parts of the ceiling. Again, they wanted to charge me $200 to repaint it, even though it is a tiny area AND I had the paint. My husband reminds me we had issues with this guy at our first place, so at the end of the day it's no surprise. In all fairness, their workers are AMAZING. I had my kitchen done a year ago. Both Mikes are really dishonest and lie all the time. They say they do one thing and then forget and do something else. Basically I wanted wood doors and even had pictures to prove what I did select in the very beginning. They ended up giving us MDF (particle board wood) which is not strong at all. It keeps chipping off. A lot of the paint has fallen off also, less than a year of having this new kitchen. The which which was supposed to match the old part of the house came out all wrong. It instantly started to crack also after being in for just one week!! Excuse after excuse from the Mikes over why things were going wrong. The new kitchen floor doesn't match the old part of the house floors bc laws changed and oil based finish can't be used. Hello, could they have checked this before they installed the new wood floors!! Just incompetence on their part!! Also, a cabinet that was installed in the kitchen was done incorrectly. Mike (the sales guy) guaranteed me in the beginning that I would get a large and useful cabinet to put everything in. I ended up with a small tiny cabinet that held nothing. When I asked Mike R. about it, he made me pay additional $500.00 to put in this cheap cabinet!!! It wasn't even my error in the very beginning. Also, reading other reviews...Mike (sales guy) does just scribble things down when you first meet him...but I guess he's doodling or something...because half of what I said to his when I met him for estimate was forgotten!! They hired a painter who's assistant insulted me in front of my 6 year old daughter in Spanish (little did he know that I understood Spanish). I had to tell them to leave!! And, they messed up the paint on the walls. You can see unusual strokes, the paint is not done correctly. When I asked Mike R for plans for the bathroom I was ignored and never given any. If you want to be mistreated and ignored hire this company They are misogynist jerks who want to take from you and mistreat you BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Terrible Experience: My experience was horrid with this company. I had my bathroom done a while ago and was so disgusted with the job that I didn't have the energy to do anything about it. I complained from the get go. Here is a list of the issues: grout chipping and resulting in little holes in the grout everywhere, granite gets spotted from water and looks horrible; I have granite everywhere in my home and no where are there spots or dirt marks any where and I have granite in the kitchen, on the fire places and in the other bathrooms not remodeled by Euro Tech, I have never been able to use my jacuzzi bath tub after two weeks because it leaks into my kitchen which was a problem before the bathroom was done so they were aware, i had to have my kitchen ceiling repaired from all the water; you think this wouldn't be a problem since they knew about from the get go, the faucets leak under the handles, I had a closet done and the edges of the wood looks like someone cut them in my garage; it looks terrible, nothing was caulked, the drain to the shower (the cover) has never fit and can't get it to screw down, I was never given a plan or told in advance how the bathroom would be designed, and once the contact was signed Mike was rarely to be found. I discussed all of the with the other partner who appeared quite nice but accomplished nothing. I find it hard to believe that this company has only good reviews. While work was being done the plumber would take his lunch breaks a half hour after he arrived to work at my home. He had to read the directions to every plumb job in its entirety before working. The tile guys were making vulgar comments in Spanish about my daughters, I'm sure they did not know I speak Spanish fairly well. The guy tiling my shower did not know I had a ribbon of tumblers to be put in and was upset that he had to retile my shower and as a result none of it is level against the wall. Mike was a used car salesman at best and used his charm to seal deals I'm sure. You never saw him or any project manager unless there was another deposit to be made. Some of the workers spoke perfect English to me until there was a problem and then they didn't seem to know any English. This company is so terribly over priced for what you get that you should go to Home Depot and do it yourself and hire individual people. You would save more than half and get a better job. The workers were told to pad and be cautious coming downstairs due to a new hardwood floor I had put in for which it never got padded unless I asked and it was almost deliberate in destruction of the floor. I was never asked about design of the closet, wood choices, colors, type of wood, if I wanted racks, nothing and came home and the closet was done. At the end we went over everything with the "quality" partner and he even showed us additional items that weren't done well and promised to have them fixed and never did. I was so happy to get these people out of my house that the stress of having them in my house was not worth it. And, after how the tile guys acted around my daughters I didn't want any of them back. My daughters would be inprisoned to their rooms when they were at my home. Not sure why two of them were even there they stood in the doorway the entire time not doing a thing. After that when they were in my home my husband stayed. Thank goodness they weren't there long. To rap it up, there was no management on daily work, no one monitored anything except for one man that would come occasionally in the morning and leave about half hour after arrival. You are asked to go buy everything (I mean everything on your own without any design team) on top of the ridiculous amount just for labor; it's absurd. So you get all the headaches, which you joined to avoid for 20 to 30-40k not including any hardware, sinks, bathtub, tile, toilet, lighting, stone....and the list goes on. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I thought I was doing myself a favor by having someone coordinate and design my bathroom since I had just finished remodeling my home and was tired from doing it all myself, trust me it wasn't worth it. I gave this company one star because the men that came and installed my cabinets and stain etc were very professional, respectful and polite. Otherwise, buyer beware! Sandra Y. Tip Make sure you do your research. Check licensing for the work that is being done. Never sign a blank piece of paper. Confirm what is in the scope of work. This is very important because you will be responsible for everything outside of demolition. One of the many compliments we got on our kitchen installed by Eurotech, was, "Wow, it looks like wealthy people live here." Said by our 33 year old daughter. They did a top notch job. No short cuts. We are THRILLED with the outcome and overall with the process. Our kitchen took 4 months, in part because of a tile mix up that was our fault. Their entire staff knows what they are doing in their respective roles. The tile guy, electrical guy, drywall guy, cabinet guy: they are all EXPERTS and want to give you the best experience possible. The molding guy is a perfectionist. PERFECT molding all the way around. I found Eurotech from a client of mine who was also thrilled with their work. Mike Krause's design suggestions were solid and we incorporated many of them. Mike Rohn's design was also very good. We made our own slight design modifications, but they laid the ground work with solid, beautiful cabinet & kitchen design. We had complete access to both Mikes during the entire process and found them to be very responsive and vigilant about what was going on. We hired Euro-tech Kitchens in Oct 2017 to remodel our kitchen. They came highly recommended by friends that had work done by them. Their bid for the work was comparable to the other bids we received, however we were most impressed by Mike K. and Mike R. and their level of expertise and experience. They were very knowledgeable about all aspects of the remodeling process and were able to guide us through all phases. Before work even began, they were able to give advice and come up with solutions for any questions or situations we expected. All of their workers were excellent, professional and reliable - cabinetry, electrical, dry wall, plumbing, tile work, countertops, etc. They were trustworthy and always left the house as clean as possible when they left for the day. Any minor problems were fixed very quickly. The custom built cabinets exceeded our expectations. The carpentry work and individual touches were beautiful. We have used EUROTECH 3 times in 11 years, first to remodel a bathroom and the second time to redo our kitchen and remodel the other bathroom, including taking out the tub and adding a double shower with a bench, and then they redid our den bar . All 3 times we were very satisfied with their services. All the crews they sent to do the jobs were professional, on time, and did excellent craftsmanship. The comments about contracts are correct, you must be specific about what you expect them to do, and what they will not be doing, but this is the case in any business transaction. We made one change in the contract and were charged a small extra sum, as we wanted a different facing design on our cabinets that what we had original selected. I had cut out several ideas of how I wanted my kitchen and both Mike Krauss and Mike Rohn spent a lot of time working with me to design a kitchen that was user friendly, including suggesting a microwave in a drawer instead of on a shelf as I am very short. I talked with other contractors and none of them were interested in working with what worked for me, including one who suggested we add on to our house, when I had specified that we were not interested in any additional space, just a better use of existing space. So I called ET again for redoing my fireplace after many failed attempts to get a decent estimate. Mike Krause came out and gave us an estimate and we were happy with his ideas so off to the races. Went and picked the stacked stone and the hearth and then Mike Rohn came out to measure and made a comment about the wood paneling and Joe said to my surprise to add it on to the job to remove it and make the walls paint ready. Many surprises and four weeks later they finished my living room yesterday and while there were days that were super frustrating and the waiting!!!, the end result is again just stunning. Whoever said that the crew is rude and disrespectful in another review is likely a person that cannot be pleased. They were all great and treated me with the level of professionalism I expect from someone working in my home. And if something was not right, they made it right. We just finished remodeling our kitchen with Euro-Tech and the result is gorgeous. Mike Krouse is the salesman, with a nice eye for design; Mike Rohn is the engineer, and he knows what's he's doing. The staff have all been with them for years, kept on salary even after the economy went bust in 2008, and their loyalty is demonstrated in the care they take to do their work well. We ran into some issues that made the project longer, but the two Mikes worked with us to see them through. The job was done for the price we were given to expect, and the kitchen looks terrific, with custom-built wood cabinets, beautifully laid tile and granite, quality appliances often purchased at a discount. We made all the decisions with helpful advice from the two Mikes, and we couldn't be happier we worked with them. Thanks, guys. read more

My husband wrote one of the reviews below. He was mad about the customer service, which does need work. But he gave them one star, which is not accurate at all, and you should have the whole story, so here it is: Eurotech offers the best possible design, very good work and quality, and reasonable prices. But the customer service is not good. Michael Krause, the designer and salesman, is a near-genius designer. If you told him money is no object, you'd get the best design possible. But he's a salesman too, so he might suggest a less dramatic renovation, or maybe provide various options and quotes, because (I presume) otherwise his quote might cost Eurotech the job, should another salesperson come in cheap and say, "But you don't need that. And I can do it for half that." Perhaps back in the pre-recession days, Eurotech was so busy that he could just design his little heart out and not give too much thought about it, but now perhaps he is too cost conscious. Mike Rohn is honest, and I appreciate that, but he can be rude. And he apparently just wants to deal with the workers, not the customers, so much so that he communicates with customers through his workers or his receptionist. The workers do good work, and our finished job is pretty much terrific. Our particular situation was that, within the one year warranty on our kitchen renovation, the plumbing leaked under our sink. Eurotech came out right away when we called them, and the leak was their fault. But we didn't know it was leaking for awhile and the melamine under the sink was slightly damaged and needed to be replaced. The Eurotech worker asked if we could wait until they had another job with that melamine so they didn't have to special order it. We said okay, but they never called to do the work. It wasn't a big deal, but still. Then, over two years after the job was done, after there was no warranty, the self-closing hinges on the trash cabinet started to act up. Mike Krause had told us that those self-closing hinges did not have a long life and gave us extras at the time the cabinets were installed. My husband left a message with the receptionist, asking them to come out and fix the hinges. He was willing to pay for a service call, but he never heard back from them and he was mad, particularly since we never pressed the melamine repair. And the hinge problem just went away on its own. Maybe Eurotech needs a third partner just to handle customer service issues. In any case, customer service is its weak point, and why it gets 4, not 5, stars. read more
