    Excuse after excuse of how they're too busy to even call to schedule a service that will never happen!

    BUYER BEWARE: They love to sell you their products and claim to have the best lifetime warranty, blah blah blah. But when it comes time for SERVICING through their warranty, it's EMAIL ONLY. (It's been 15+ days and I still haven't had a person even bother to call and schedule a service!) Nobody will talk to you by phone. And then they give you the run-around telling you they are overbooked for service calls and that you have to just wait. And God help you if you do not agree to their $200 made-up service call fee, because they they definitely won't give a damn! If I knew I'd get screwed like this by this company, I would have paid more and gone with a company who actually stands behind their product. So when all else fails, threaten them and give them a deadline to repair their products under warranty within 30 days. If they do not do so, get it fixed by any other company and then take legal action and go after them for however much you paid out-of-pocket. Eventually they'll realize it's in their best interest to come out and keep their promise rather than cough up thousands of dollars for another company cleaning up their mess! Trust me, get a lawyer and get it done right...and DO NOT fall for their automatic responses by ownership about "oh call us and we'll make it right." It's all BS!

    Thank you, CDW for telling me everything I needed to know about your company in a span of one hour. I'm replacing all of the windows in my Los Angeles home , and my sister is building a new home in Santa Monica. So we're in the market for windows. My general feeling about vinyl windows is that they're cheap and are mostly for people on a budget, but I decided that perhaps I was being hasty and it was worth a trip to the showroom to see for myself before I jump to any conclusions. Online their hours of their Chatsworth showroom are until 5 PM. I made the long drive there and arrived at 4:30 with plenty of time to look around the showroom before they closed. As I drove up, I thought that there must be a mistake. The location that I drove to looked abandoned. The parking lot was dirty, and there was garbage strewn about and not a single car in sight. Nowhere on any of the windows or doors which were heavily tinted with cheap Reflective material, did it say anything about the showroom hours or whether they were open or not. Sure enough, the doors were locked. I figured I must be at the warehouse and the showroom must be close to here in a different location, but I just got the wrong address. So I called them up and the customer service person who answered the phone did not know what the word "showroom" meant. Beyond that, she couldn't tell me where the showroom was once I explained to her what a showroom was. I asked her if she could put me on hold and ask someone, assuming that it must be her first day. She said that she was unable to do that but that if she if I gave her my name and email address, someone would respond to me within two days. Two days??? I'm in the bloody parking lot! So I hang up and call the toll-free number. Well, this goblin who answered the phone, I can only assume must be in like Lithuania or something, knew even less about the business than the first person did. The only thing she knew to say was that if I gave my name and email address someone would get back to me within two days. I don't know you can run a business like this. How can your customer service be so woefully inadequate? How is it that your staff are so poorly trained and know so little about the business? And why, when your hours are until five, is your showroom locked and closed before that time? Needless to say I won't be back. And by the way, you can always tell how much a business cares by the way they handle their reviews. Take notice that not one single review is replied to. Don't be fooled by their flashy website! This place is ratchet.

    I shopped around for quite long time and found this place. They are the best, from the sales rep, then the measuring process and then installation. Ran into a issue during installation. The manager stopped by to ensure thee satisfaction. They took care of the problem the correct way instead of winginig it and went out of their way to match my existing shutters framework. That alone was a huge savings on my part. Thank you (Luis). Very happy with the result. This was a custom window/door that required precise workmanship. See the photo for details.

    The very worst customer service. I have an issue with a Rehau window purchased thru CDW. I've called customer service twice and spoke to a person and told her the problem. She said she would forward it to her boss. The 2nd time I called, she have me her bosses direct extension...which I've called and left 2 messages. I've spoken to 2 people in marketing as well as reaching out to Rehau corporate for a call back. Nothing!!! It's been over 8 days since I've started my quest for help I don't leave alot of bad reviews on Yelp but if you are having issues with a window through this company, good luck getting a call back. I DO NOT recommend this company. Update: After over a couple weeks and dozens of phone calls i finally got my issue resolved. Noam who works in Marketing in the Chatsworth, CA office went above and beyond to help me out. I needed verification for an email address for the service manager because my email with pictures to her bounced back. He had me stay on the line and personally walked over to the next building to talk with her. About a week after that, I got a call informing me that techs would come from CA to NV to fix my French door. The techs did a great job fixing and adjusting not just the one door but all 5 French doors I'll up my stars because of the niceness of Noam and the techs.

    What brand(s) window does CDW install?

    I concur with Debbi. They manufacture their own windows. The brand is California Deluxe Windows.

    Does this company do homes that are from 1926 era? I want wooden look, the same color as I already have on the inside, and white frame on outside. Large center window with two small side double hung windows.

    Yes, they are an outstanding company. I have a 1924 home and it's all the more sturdier thanks to their great windows. Couldn't recommend more :)

    Does anyone know about how much hung windows are or an estimate for two windows in front of house two bedrooms, making 4 windows altogether ..... it will just fit in, and wanted to get an idea before putting in a lot of time for talking ,etc.$4,000?

And even had a smile on his face the entire time... and so close... Now the updated bad part of the review. After having a Best Buy geek squad guy come out and check that everything was ready for the install, including the sizes, of what we should order for this space that we were going to fill with the new washer and dryer..... The installers came out, and first of all, didn't have the pedestals that we thought we ordered, which we made very clear that we wanted the washer and dryer higher like they had on the display. We even talked about them with the salesman when we were there... Well, those weren't delivered. And they said they couldn't install the dryer as apparently the geek squad guy missed that gas line hook up is old and would need to be replaced before they could put in a new dryer. So bottom line, this has turned into a nightmare for us, now... especially since we thought it was going to go so smoothly. And we're hoping Pacific sales along with their father company. Best Buy will correct this to our satisfaction. Will let you know if that happens, but I've lowered the rating for now

I've spent…read moreright around 11K for sinks and faucets for 8 bathrooms, and I must say that the rep was very nice and very helpful and very knowledgeable, he did is part the best way Possible, but here is my problem with this place: they don't stock up anything, everything gets shipped from different locations so I started receiving at home bits and pieces of my orders over the next couple of weeks. The product did not arrive in retail packaging so it was really tough to know which was what. I had to take everything back to the showroom and my rep set down and wrote on each and every single piece what it was. Turned out that I've ended up ordering a few things wrong and needed to return them...Now, returning items is even a bigger headache..,you have to get a shipping label from them and start shipping different things back to their different locations. That was not acceptable to me so I returned the product back to the showroom and ask my rep to take care of the returns for me. It took over 3 weeks for me to receive the refunds which was pretty upsetting. In the meantime, I've checked with a different national distributor the prices on everything I've purchased and it turned out that I've paid about $2000 too much in comparison to what it would have cost me had I've purchased the same product from them. Needless to say: Very bad system, extremely over priced, and I will not be buying here again.

    If thinking of buying tile from this guy...BEWARE! This company (owner run???) has the WORST…read morecustomer service. After waiting 2 wks for a sample tile, I called to find out the problem. I was told that it was held up bc it was not a tile that this company made. "Alex" then tried to convince me that my selection was "uninteresting" and that they had many more tiles that would look nicer, that HIS company made. I explained that our look needed to be simple but he still kept pushing exotic, more expensive tile, making little jabs at my choice. Hey, thanks for insulting my taste! He then explained that the delay was due to"conflict" between his company and the company providing the sample tile that we paid for. I wasn't sure what this meant but I now think that he may've been the reason for the company conflict. He is extremely rude. He then said that he'd push to get my tile to me by Mon., Wed. at the latest. This was not timely, at all, but there wasn't much I could do. Well, I suppose that I could've cancelled my order at that time...maybe. Anyway, when my sample didn't arrive in the mail by Wed., I called and left a message explaining that we couldn't move forward with that tile because we wouldn't receive it in time for the start of our project. I asked for a refund and a return phone call. After never receiving a return call, I tried calling again. Speaking with the only person seemingly at this company - "Alex" - again, he said that he had tracked my pkg after receiving my message a few days prior and saw that the sample had eventually been delivered by UPS late Wed. evening. Therefore, he would begrudgingly refund my money...if I sent it back on MY dime. Then he quickly hung up the phone on me. Both childish and rude! Is this guy still 12 y.o.? Basically, he received my message and chose to ignore it, purposely not returning my call. His company supposedly prides itself on getting tile to the consumer "on time" (written in the confirmation email), which they did not do, but maybe they should learn to pride themselves on customer service. If you like having your taste insulted, waiting for weeks to obtain a simple sample, and then being hung up on when trying to resolve a dissatisfying situation, then this is the company for you.

From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. My Preferred Builders team was pure gold! I highly recommend Nir, Elba and Orel, the Foreman. Orel was caring and his experience was invaluable, Roman, (drywall, moldings, paint, flooring) Carlo (beautiful tile work) and Abnir were all professional, caring and kind. My remodel was reasonable and fast. I definitely recommend Preferred and I already have.
