I ventured down a few steps and to my surprise saw a full blown old fashion Asian Apothecary store complete with an older woman behind a counter mixing multiple herbs and dried roots and wrapping them in brown paper. The store was impressive with the high quality of the Apothecary here, from ginseng roots and extracts to 50 lb bags of miscellaneous dried mushrooms to lotus flowers etc. I purchased some Korean Ginseng Tea at a very reasonable price. This is a great find, next time I will inquire if they have any Goji Berry products or Lingzhi Mushrooms which are somewhat difficult finds. I give Kok Wa Co a Solid 4 Stars. I may have gone up to 5 if I could have communicated with them.

I think the sub variety looks good on the board but it took way to long to get the food. after ordering it was another 10 minutes. so altogether around 27 or so minutes. Becketts right around the corner very fresh subs and only takes less than 5 to order and get the food out, they are also busy all the time but much more efficient and friendly. I wanted to like this place and am sure many do but its just not for me and I also dont want sweat in my food.

Lunch today was some nice fresh rye-wheat bread ("babuni" if you see it, it's crusty but soft on the inside and massive), sausage slices, and sauerkraut I picked up in the store. So good. Oh, and an apricot strudel (again, small batches with only a handful of ingredients and no preservatives) that I also enjoyed with some coffee. Speaking of the store: they carry a lot of things that I know are hard to find, particularly (for me) dark rye bread, and other loaves that are very healthy and not processed, and LOTS of pickled vegetables They also have all sorts of other goods I'm sure I'll be slowly trying over the coming visits, and I have to say the prices are excellent.
