I went there to get an estimate for my 20 year old Mercedes that has over 220,000 miles. I am the original owner and I know what I have done and not done to my car. I liked the way Bill presented in 4 sections what needed to be done by priority. I thought it reasonable and they did everything. Great mechanics that take care of my car very well. They do a thorough inspection and the pricing is reasonable. I just like looking at the cars they work on here. I dropped off my car today and they were working on a vintage Ferrari, a Porsche track car and a very nice Aston Martin. The garage was full of Porsches and BMWs. If someone can trust them to work on a classic Ferrari GTO then... They do not have any loaner cars but will drop you off at home or work and pick you up when your car is ready. These guys are top notch. If you have a European car out of warranty this is a great indy shop. read more

Hi, I went to this place my car had engine light. They told me don't worry will check it out for you they called me. They said it cost 700 we will fix everything then they called me back. They said they need 1500 to fix the manifold, I said that's fine after I took the car from the AC start not working, I called him. I said my AC is not working cold no more they told me bring it then they called me they said oh don't bring it that's not our problem that was very mean. And after I went to pick the car, the car start shutting off when they bring it from the shop front door I told him the car is shut off now is worse than before they took it to the back and they bring it they never fixed it. They stole my money, technically. read more

Three weeks ago when I called to make the appointment I was quoted $210 out the door for my BMW X3 for an oil change, my front plate re-secured and my chrome kidney grilles replaced (I provided those). I decided to try these guys instead of my usual tech shop, Midnite Tuning in Largo (whose quote was about the same) as this was a simple job and the shop was closer. I asked if I could wait for the work there as I only have one vehicle. The guy on the phone said yes if I brought it in at 8 am it would be done quickly. Perfect! Or so I thought. Once there I was told they'd text me when done in a few hours. Luckily they were done in about 2 hours tho I got the feeling they weren't happy about being rushed. This morning I was charged $419.21, an up charge of over $200.  Not a stellar beginning for my only experience with this shop. I'll pass next time read more

Went in for basic A1 Mercedes service and found scratches all over the front hood. Spoke with one of the owners Miki Jr. and he was irritated I had brought it up and he was as rude as they could get. I asked him to go through his cameras to confirm that it was done by them as I was sure there were no scratches on it when I brought it in. His response was, "okay, even if it was, what do you want me to do about it?".... He then asks me to come back next day, shows me one camera angle when they were doing oil change and that did they did not place anything on top of that car (20 minute durations when they had the car for 7 hours). They didn't want to show the other cameras that would show the car when I brought it in. He then ends the conversation by cursing me off and telling me to get the f*c# out of there while the whole time I maintained respectful. I recorded his disrespectful approach. Stay away from there if you care about your car and the type of service you will receive. The reason you'll see so many nice cars is because they deal with wear houses. They do not care about individuals. read more

I have an old (2007) Range Rover sport with low mileage. They are awesome. I go for regular service. New tires. Fuel pump just failed. They are honest. Estimates are always in line with actual charge. Car is always washed as a bonus. Bill who runs the office is friendly and professional. They know what they're doing. read more

Sunday night my BMW 535I would not start. I thought it was my battery and had the car towed to European Performance on strong advice from a close friend. Monday morning speaking to Josh he said it sounds like a starter but they would do a diagnostic and let me know. Within a couple hours he called back and said that it was in fact a starter. His price to do the work was fair given I knew approximate cost already. On Tuesday I got a call from Josh again and said after they got the vehicle started they noticed a clicking noise. I was aware of this too and had an idea what it was and he confirmed that. I know he was concerned about finding another thing wrong with my vehicle but the fact that I knew that it was something already existingHelped me develop trust. Terrible communication, terrible customer service. IAlways had to call to find out the repairs. First and last of three times car was in their care, they made no call and days passed before I had to call. Last of three times, they held the car for twelve days before they fixed the real noise: water pump. Had my car almost a month for water pump, window seals, alignment. Went to pick up the car and they "forgot" to do the alignment. Mis-diagnosed the water pump noise as a valve lifter problem. Paid hundreds of dollars for oil change and towing that shouldn't have happened. read more

We took our Porsche in for an ignition switch replacement. They said needed new plugs also due to mileage ... oK. Repaired.... took car home. 2 days later "check engine" light on. Took back for diagnostics. Was told 2 coils bad... no charge for labor, just for parts (since car was just there couple days ago ... ok). Pick up car today w 0 charge. Said coils are good, issue due to plug replacement. They could have cheated me, no doubT, but they did not. They also provide transportation back to your home after drop off & pick you up to come back to ger your car. Totally a first class operation. Highly recommend. read more

Highly recommended to take your vehicle to! I have owned a Ferrari, Porsche and Mercedes and have had the BEST luck dealing with European Performance, they have dedicated mechanics, helpful staff and they even drive you home while your car is getting repaired and then pick you back up for no extra charge, my car is running great so hopefully I do not need to come back in any time soon, but its nice to know European Performance are so close to me if help is needed. read more

This was my first visit - I expected it to be great and it was. I had a coolant fill and flush done on my 2008 Volkswagen R32. Josh was extremely helpful in getting me in. They were willing to use some left over coolant I had just bought to top my car off with. Very knowledgeable. Price was extremely reasonable and Josh was even willing to shuttle me or pick me up - Though I just walked downtown for coffee. Job was done in less than 2 hours. I got a PPI done on a CPO 2014 Cayman with 9k miles being sold by a very local dealer. Josh has an amazing attention to detail and went over all of the issues he found in the most professional way possible he even tested the A/C buttons and found an issue. I ultimately did not end up buying the car because of the dealers refusal to address issues found during the PPI as simple as the alignment being off and correcting the paint flaws because of a previous undocumented paint repairs and a small chip and then asking me to pay for it despite having a body shop on site. I highly recommend European Performance and in the unlikely event I am back in the Tampa and St. Petersburg area I wouldn't hesitate in bringing a car to them. read more

I have a 2008 BMW 328 and picked European Performance based on some of these reviews on Yelp and Google and decided to check them out for a simple oil change. I do not like going to the dealer as they charge 20-30% more than these Indy repair shops. Mike was good and polite and took care of the basic oil change. However when I later went back to other minor and major repairs their diagnosis was terrible. A misfire symptom led to induction coil changes to spark plug changes to several sensor changes and on and on. Later repairs led to blame to the BMW as providing a defective part. I ended up spending ~ $6k with them. I found another Indy shop in Westchase - Dan Royster that has given me better diagnosis and repair services. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

Not the place for a cheap oil change... but if you own a sports oriented import or exotic requiring more than standard maintenance, these guys know what they are doing. Expect to pay handsomely for their experience, but the free hand car wash takes some sting out of the bill. Added bonus is that you will usually see some pretty cool cars there. read more

Great place. I have taken my car there 6 or 7 times and always a great job. I have never had a issue and short waiting times. Yesterday I had a brake light go out and took it over and they cleaned the contacts and worked perfect and did not charge me. This is why I never go any other place. Kudos to them Jerry B read more

I have been taking my vehicles to European Performance sine the late 80's / early 90's. If there is a more knowledgeable / honest staff anywhere in the Tampa Bay Area I have yet to hear of them. Everyone I have referred to this business has been very happy with the results. I give Euro Performance 3 stars based on the overall "experience". I took my 2004 MB CLK 500 (only 39,795 miles) for a 40K service and to have the sunroof checked. After keeping the car for five days, they finally discovered the problem with the sunroof. It took the first two days for Mickey, Sr. to finally figure out the issue. Then, I was told the headliner was becoming unattached and needed to be replaced - no issue really and I agreed to their suggestion. The REAL rub was this: after they had disassembled the inside cabin roof, replaced the pan that the sunroof sits in, then they tell, oh yeah - there's this electrical cable that's pinched in the roof area and needs to be replaced. When asked what the electrical cable went to, Mickey, Jr. told me, "he didn't know". How can you NOT know what a cable goes to if it's connected at both ends? It's been five days running and still no car and, apparently more added "repairs". This isn't the first time Euro Performance has worked on this car and normally it's a breeze. It just seems as this time nothing had gone right. It's been one added issue upon another. My car is pristine, garaged kept and washed every week. I take care of my vehicles and don't mind paying for the upkeep. This time it just seems like the guys at Euro Performance were way off the mark. Not sure if I will return to them or try Action Imports - another privately owned garage that has "good" reviews. I know this has been a lengthy review and, I don't want anyone to think Euro Performance is a total waste of time but, just realize that nothing is as good as it initially seems. read more
