have been a loyal client for over a year at the Boston Street location and have made it very clear that I only see one person in particular for my services, which is common and reasonable given the personal nature of Brazilian waxing. Despite this, the last three appointments have been mishandled: 1. I was incorrectly booked with someone else, despite my clear preference. 2. I waited nearly 20 minutes past my rescheduled appointment the next day before having to leave. 3. Today, I was notified once again of an issue with my appointment and offered another reschedule. I am thoroughly confused why the Manager would book me when my requested person isn't in?? This has now cost me significant time, trust, and patience. Being offered other estheticians after I've made my preference known is not acceptable for this type of service. I've been going to this location on and off for about two years. Today I got stuck behind the train on Boston and had to go all the way around so I was 4 minutes late. When I walked in, there were three receptionists, one talking to another guest and the other two I'm not sure what they were doing but it took them a while to greet me. They then informed me that there was a 5 minute grace period and that I missed my window. I told them that the form I had to acknowledge and sign said I had 9 minutes or I would have called. The girl kept apologizing and saying she'd talk to her manager and that I could come back tomorrow. In July had the worst experience where I decided to give a new waters chance to do the waxing. She not only burned my private and underarm, she also didn't do a good job removing the hairs. I have contacted them on several occasions and not one response from the manager that was there at the time and on duty .. she told two of the staff members that she was in a meeting and busy . SHE STILL HASN'T REACH OUT TO ME! I paid almost $200 for the service to be unsatisfied. This happened at the Pikesville location. I can FINALLY give a five star review to a wax specialist at this location!! I went 12/23 and waited until today to make sure I was in the clear. Thank you one thousand times to "De'Zha" who had me leaving feeling normal and smooth as I should after my Brazilian and underarms. My was session felt completely normal as to what I'm used to. De'Zha is quick, efficient and doesn't handle your sensitive area like she's trying to pull spikes off a porcupine. My trauma story from the other is down below. Take my word for it. De'Zha is who you want to see if you're looking for a switch. I've been doing this for 10yrs and I know a thing or two about how I should feel after a wax. Itching, burning, red spots and bumpy isn't one of them. I temporarily live in Baltimore coming from Cali but I still need to keep up with the maintenance The wax specialist I went to twice is WAY aggressive with her waxing. I couldn't understand why I had these issues. Come to find out that my skin was being ripped leaving small minor lacerations causing me all types of irritation and I noticed right away during the session. I has little raised bumps along the bikini line in some areas. My vagina lips would burn. The second time around I had to put a small amount of natural mango butter on the "labia majora" larger vagina lips to get some extra healing and relief. I had major irritation ladies and gents. I'm a brown tone woman and there's no reason I should see pinkish reddish tent on my vagina lips. There's no reason I should wipe after a few days and I see balls of skin on my white cloth. My apologies ahead of time. I won't mention any names here. You'll know who's aggressive and who's not. I go to this location regularly and I usually have no issues until I made the mistake of not going to my usual waxer. I was tight on time and my waxer didn't work that day so I opted to select a waxer at random. Big mistake. She was nice enough but it was obvious she lacked experience. I left the salon with patches of hair still left and a boil that formed overnight. Im assuming from an infected follicle. I've never had one after a Brazilian until then. Overall, the location was very clean and responsive and kind staff and I have been here b. However, I was very displeased with a portion of my service. I had my chin waxed recently and the next day I had scabs and wax burns on my chin. I will say I have went before and this has never happened. I tried to follow/up with the manager over the weekend but unfortunately I have to post how my chin looked here. As feedback, please do not over wax. I am very happy that I made the decision to come to this location. Initially I set an appointment for 1015 with any specialist. I was awarded great treatment and hospitality by Asia. She was very friendly and attentive. Any time she applied the wax she asked if the temperature was OK and asked me if the pressure was comfortable. I would highly recommend Asia as she is highly knowledgeable and skilled in the craft. I'm not too sure what the Young lady at the front desk name is she, I believe she is African-American female. Upon check-in she tried her best to apply a discount for my service. As I am not a Maryland native, I did not receive the discount. I've had multiple different estheticians from EWC due to moving and experimenting with different waxers to see who's the best fit for me and Yazmin is by far the very BEST. She's friendly, quick, and the most painless brazilian wax I've ever gotten. I was finished in less than 10 minutes, there was no skin irritation or post-wax sensitivity that I usually feel, and she did a great job and removed all the hair (and wax, some people leave bits of wax that's hard to get off later).
