Review from my visit on 1/21/2025. Could have left a 4/5 stars but I don't want to fault them because of MY preference. Booked a first time waxed here cause it was close to my house. I've been waxed before but never at EWC for xyz reason and since my normal lady is gonna be unavailable for an extended period of time, I decided to try them out. Anyway, I selected Haylee because she had the most recent and best review. She did a great job! Very efficient and quick. So I read in previous reviews that said she talked during the wax which made it go by fast; I agree!!! However, we went through so many topics so fast lol. I suppose there is nothing actually wrong with that; I'm just use to having more in-depth convos with my wax lady and massage therapist during our sessions. Just a preference! She was cool though and her tattoos were dopeeee. Also shoutout to Rachel at the front for greeting me with a smile and good energy and vibe even though I think they were close to closing (and I may have been one of the last waxes) and also after my wax, she did a great job explaining all the wax deal/packages. I've been going to this location for a while now. Kaitlinn and Hannah are my go-to's. Both are very personable and quick. Online booking is very simple. The main reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sales tactics when I'm checking out are way too much. I stand there for several minutes listening to the same spiel. I just want to check out and leave. It's like I dread checking out because I know what's about to happen. The girls are very nice when giving their spiel. I would rather they tell me about the "deals" when I ask and not every single time. read more

Amber was really nice and did a decent job although I noticed a few hairs were missed when I got home. The girl at the front desk was friendly BUT she really tried to push the membership. I said no thanks and she kept repeating that the prices are going up soon so I should buy the pre paid card which was super expensive. I'd consider going back but I prefer a more laid back setting so maybe not...we'll see. read more

I bought a package at European Wax Center when I first moved here. I scheduled a different wax specialist everytime to help me find the right one for me. Although all three were great and professional, the first two weren't the most thorough and still left some hair. The third one, Kate, was the most thorough and I would have seen her again if I had another wax left on my package. I didn't want to purchase another package just yet. I want to explore other options and other businesses before committing to one, so I haven't been back since seeing Kate. European Wax Center is also a bit pricey unless you purchase a package ahead of time. The bigger the package (more waxes), the less expensive the waxes become per session. However, you do have to pay the full price up front. You save money in the long run, I'm just not a fan of package plans. read more

I came here today for waxing services and I met with Kayla. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the two women working at the front. They were super nice and friendly, and explained all the promotions they have going. I ended up going with one particular promotion and even ended up getting some after care products. The actual wax took about 30 minutes and Kayla explained everything she was going to do and even explained what she was doing while she was doing it. Kayla was friendly and kind and a joy to work with. We chatted the whole time and I genuinely felt cared for and comfortable. I came to this location as a visitor from out of town and i literally wish i could take Sophie with me she was an absolute joy to talk to throughout my service. I got a full leg wax and Sophie did by far a much better job than other esthi's that I've gone to at other EWC. She was very thorough and took the time to make sure she left no hair behind and with minimal pain. I loved her absolutely will come back just for her when I'm in town. read more

BEWARE!!! Receptionist stands at the door with people in waiting area. I have walked out heading to my car. HEY. YOU NEED TO COME BACK IN AND PAY FOR YOUR SERVICE. I said I have a year pass. (I'm here every 3-4weeks). Receptionist. I don't see that you do. You need to come back so I can make sure. In front of people in waiting area. I went back in. She said my year-long pass did not exist. I had one before and used it. I said no. Not true. She keeps questioning me. When did you buy it? Et cetera. Then oh, you have 3 accounts. Yes, you have a pass. Now whose fault is it I'm in there 3 times???? I don't remember having access to your computer. Handled very unprofessionally and a bit smug. read more

Just finished a wax with Val. The facility is clean, and everyone was very professional and welcoming. I was able to complete the wax in under 30 minutes and given the circumstances, I would say it was relatively painless. Val was a pleasure to talk to and made what could often be an awkward situation...very welcoming. I will be making another appointment soon. read more

I have been coming to EWC for years (this location specifically) and love it! Kayla is absolutely the best! She remembers exactly how I love my brows and does a great job! The wax is a hard wax and helps to eliminate breakouts and redness - so gentle on the skin! plus The facilities are clean too! Highly recommend EWC! read more

Mediocre, painful wax despite high Yelp ratings. Got eyebrows waxed and immediately noticed a hive developing above my right eye, irritation midway through my eyebrow wax. Waxer was brusque and applied extremely thick wax on thick strips, without any spot waxing which most eyebrow waxes incorporate. Tweezing was painful, but waxer didn't apply any aloe or calming gel post-wax. Overall eyebrow sculpting was underwhelming at best - could barely detect my natural arch after my wax. Would not risk a Brazilian here unless I book with Mary or Kayla. Shannan no longer works at this location. read more

Hello, I have been a loyal customer and buying full face, underarm, Brazilian wax passes from EWS for over 3 years now. I received communication and a letter that showed I would be promised this Brazilian package as soon as my met my last Brazilian wax pass. I checked-in today meeting my 2nd to last Brazilian package requesting renewal. The front end receptionist confirmed with her manger Katlyn that she would not honor the package that was made by their own receptionist. I am beyond disappointed and will be taking my service somewhere else once all my wax packages are used. The waxing service here is a hit or miss, it is unlikely to find one good wax specialist who stays, in the time I have been here due to inconsistency with mangers and micro managing many have left. There have been a handful of times I learned to never get a level 1 waxer as they have left me sore and red in areas. read more

This isn't the closest location to me but Val makes the extra few minutes worth it! When I first started I was extremely vulnerable and nervous, now I feel like me and Val are long time friends. It's hard to make someone comfortable when you're getting certain parts of your body waxed but she has a way of putting me at ease with our nonchalant chats and laughing through the service. I've been going to European Wax Center for years & I am a Wax Pass holder. Because of my schedule, I usually just pop in when it's convenient for me & go to whichever Wax Specialist is available. Today's visit with Morgan, here at The San Tan location has made me be sure to change my plans if need be just to be on her schedule. She's a perfectionist! She was professional, thorough, yet quick...the wax temperature was PERFECT! I'll definitely book ahead from now on with Morgan. Also, I love that this location keeps the flushable cleansing wipes in stock. Who doesn't want to freshen up right before their Brazilian appointment if they're not coming straight from the shower to European Wax Center? I was going to a location a little closer to me & they don't carry them at their location. However I purchased a product there that made my underarms breakout into a rash and the manager didn't give me a refund just 10 percent off of my next product which was a little disappointing. A friend convinced me to come get waxed for my first time and recommended Val to me, this was over a year ago and I see Val every month! She is amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable with my first visit and walked me through everything. She's extremely friendly every time I see her, remembers all the things we talk about and does a great job with the waxing.
