I usually get waxed at another location and never had an issue with any staff working but the front desk lady at this location was so pushy about wax passes borderline not allowing me to check out. I had already waited over 10 minutes after my wax to check out while listening to her talk in circles to another client about wax passes. I would never return to this location because of the overly pushy front desk staff who won't take no for an answer. read more

I came in to a last minute appointment at 7:50pm for a lip and brow wax for my daughter. She had her quince photo shoot the next day and the thought of getting this done had almost evaded us so this European Wax Center really came in clutch to get us in before they closed at 9. The aesthetician who did my daughter's lip and brow was knowledgeable, made her feel comfortable, did an excellent job shaping her brow, and she said "it felt clean, refreshing, and very professional" she also showed her how to fill in her brows and really sold us on getting that product for her. What I appreciated most about that is that she took the time to educate her and make her feel confident in how to do it (teach a person to fish!). In addition, while I waited for her service, the woman who checked us in (I think her name was Savannah - forgive if this is incorrect), but she was absolutely lovely. Her and I chatted the entire time about brows, products, pictures, I ended up going to show her some photos of dresses, and she had the cutest glasses. I share because it's really nice to be able to walk in and have very personable people be themselves and human. Everyone was jovial and professional and really just made for an excellent first time experience at a waxing place for her. Also, because it was her first time, the brow was was free! So we only paid for the brow filler and the lip (Whoohoo)! They also have a referee bonus so if someone refers you they get a credit added on to their account. read more

Do NOT go to Emily for eyebrows she just waxed my eyebrows completely off I am devastated

Very nice employees at this location, though that did not make up for my disappointment in the results of my treatment. Services I came in for was for brow shaping (wax) and tint. First issue was that the person who did it did not ask about the shape or thickness I was wanting, she just started waxing which left me with what she assumed I wanted which was not really what I wanted which on its own is enough for me not to return. In fact, the shape from one side to the other is not even the same which is embarrassing. With brow shaping, they need to do a consult and outline prior to any waxing, not just hand you a mirror as you are laying down after the fact where you really are not able to really see well. Then, I have a piece of wax in my hair at the roots on my forehead. That is sloppy; Never ever have I experienced that even when I try waxing my own. Second issue was the worst tint job I have ever had. Not sure where the expiration date of the tint, where they got it from, or if it was the cheapest that they could purchase but it was bad. Even the black turned to be alight brown and the dark brown was like blond even after the second application. It seams like most places I unintentionally end at in Arizona turn out to be chains which have yet to come close to quality of services I am accustom to to in another state. Run away if upon entering they offer multiple session packages volume over quality as a corporate focus. As far as there other services, I cant place a review but how hard is it to totally remove hair by waxing. I am sure if I had come for that,they would have received more stars. Still on the hunt for the right place for me, EWC isnt it. Only now I have to wait for my brows to grow out again first so I can get them fixed. read more

I've now proudly seen each waxer and my only complaint is I can't pick 1 to be my favorite. I love European wax and it was awesome that i was able to get in on the preview days! Everyone was very professional and showed me how everything works now, seems pretty cool. There was hand sanitizer readily and easily available and my room was sanitized when i entered! Nadia was my primary waxer and she made me feel very comfortable. There's was also a second waxer on my arms(i don't recall their name, beautiful lavender hair) who was awesome with procedures, i could really tell she took it seriously and strived to do the best job possible. Well, my husband and I decided it was time for some self love and grooming. Our experience was 5 star all the way. The facility was modern & impeccably clean The staff up front was knowledgeable, nice and professional Our waxers Krizzia & Samantha, top notch. They made great recommendations and had wonderful technique. We loved them both and my husband even agreed to continue to get his ears, nose and brows waxed monthly! Location on Gilbert Road & the 202 had ample parking and is in the same shopping center as Target. A bonus. Only drawback......I can't even think of anything. read more

A friend told me this location had a new interior design so of course I had to try it out as a regular at EWC. The new look is beautiful and the center was so clean. I loved it! The front desk girls were really friendly and gave me all the details of EWC's new retail line. The Shea Butter is to die for! As always, my wax was quick and efficient. I already have a wax pass so I didn't renew at check out, but I did book my next reservation at this location. If you love EWC, you have to see this location. Snuck a few pictures too! =) read more

( I've had many). She was very courteous to my needs she was gentle. She genuinely wanted what was best for me! I wasn't just another payday to her. My waxer was Sydney and she was so much fun, felt very minimal pain, had me laughing the entire appt!!! I was super nervous about getting my brows done for the first time but I would DEFINITELY go to European Wax Center again. This one especially had such a welcoming environment and I loved the look of the front lobby and the rooms! I will also be returning to my wax specialist Lianna. She had such a gentle touch for someone ripping my hair out and my brows came out beautiful! She shaped them perfectly and there was also 0 hair left on my lip and sideburns. I have been going to European wax center for almost 6 six years and have been to the location off of Alma School and the one off of Marketplace. Today was my first time going to the Gilbert Rd center and wow was I so impressed. My waxer was Miranda and this was my first time getting a Brazilian and eyebrow wax from her. She makes you feel so comfortable and I left with not one hair left on me. I highly recommend her. By far the best waxer I have went to and her technique is amazing.
