Extremely pleased with my experience. I was in need of a fill and called ahead to verify they could accommodate this service from another lash artist's work so I didn't need to get a whole new set. No issue at all, thankfully. They use Vagaro's booking system, you do put down a credit card to secure the slot but it's not charged until you get the service. Prices are known upfront and based on lash style and length of time (45min, 1hr, etc.). Prior to appointment, I received txt reminders which were helpful but it wouldn't create a calendar appointment in my phone. Not anything to do with this salon. On arrival I was promtly greeted by Janna. She's very sweet and took the time to really understand my lash-goals and overall objective for this appointment. This is such an important step and so many techs overlook it. Truly appreciated! The studio is clean, sleek, calm and inviting. The lounger was well padded and comfortable, room temperature was nice and cool (it was a pretty warm afternoon outside). Janna has a calming vibe, I was able to fully relax during my lash service and my lash results were SO BEAUTIFUL! I'll definitely be back. read more

I started my lash extension journey since 2024 I first started with Gretelle who's great, then I booked with Janna for more compatible scheduling, who is amazing BTW, I don't doubt that any of the technicians are nothing, but great! But I've love Jannas technique and style. She really listens to what you want and executes flawlessly with also adjusting to what works and looks best with your natural lashes and eye shape. She's a beautiful person inside and out; very professional has me looking forward to my appointments! Each time is nothing but a wonderful experience. Recently moved to Arizona from another state. Desperately trying to find a new lash studio as I have gone to the same person for the last 12 years. I had my first appointment and the lashes didn't last a week so booked another appointment the following week for another fill and they haven't lasted either. I never had issues previously with my lashes lasting at least 2-3 weeks at a time. Want to love this place but have spent $$$ for them not to last even 1 week. read more

I can be pretty particular and I expressed my concerns and she took her time perfecting what I asked for and I'm grateful! Thanks girl!! (Again went to a new lady aka Samantha this time cause the time I needed the appointment was outside of Vidiana's availability) But I have had a good experience every time!! I chose this place because of its great reviews. It's on the pricier side, but I took the "you get what you pay for" approach and chose to spend extra to get high quality lashes. I was really disappointed when I started shedding the same day I got them done. In the first day alone, I lost 25-30 lashes. I woke up the next day and I had a bald spot on the inner corner. For $150, your lashes shouldn't be shedding on the first day that you get these done. I called their front desk and explained the situation and they will be fixing them. The customer service was great in response to my complaint hence the 2 stars. I will update this review once I see how the new ones hold up in comparison. Update: my volume lash extensions lasted a total of 12 days. On the 12th day, my boyfriend and I were having a pretty serious conversation and he stopped me mid sentence to tell me he couldn't take me seriously. When I asked why, he took out his phone to snap a photo and proceeded to tell me one of my lashes was flipping him off. LOL I immediately called to schedule a removal. They ended up comping the removal because they were so bad. Ah well. Great customer service, but work not worth $150. Update #2: this review is for sugar lash company in San tan village in Gilbert. My name on Yelp is different than my real name for anonymity, but since the business owner is insisting on saying my lashes weren't done there, here are the names of your staff that I worked with: Stephanie, Dorothy, and McKenna. I was trying to avoid giving names. I did get the message from the business owner, but after getting them done twice, I don't think getting them done a third time would really help the situation. What brought me to "The Lash and Sugar Company" is a bad experience I had with a different company. I was in desperate need to have my eyelashes removed. It has been 3 years since I wore extensions and I needed to have them done for my wedding. I'm new to Arizona and I had no time to waste so I went to Walmart...‍ I'll say no more. I had them done on a Saturday and by Monday I couldn't take how heavy the were. The extensions began to scratch the inside of my eye and I noticed a sty developing above my left eye. When I called them to have the same technician remove them, she was not available until the next weekend and no one else was trained to do lashes. No way I was keeping them on for another whole week.. so I called around and they were the first to answer. First I found it very convenient that they have multiple locations and I was able to schedule an appointment closest to where I live in chandler. This is where I met Jess. It felt like she was concerned about the well-being of my eyes, she was patient. And because she had great skill, she accomplished saving most of my eyelashes and still removed the extension in a proper amount of time. I apologized several times because of the big job she probably did not for see, but she never made me feel like it was any trouble. I felt relaxed the whole time and I felt great positive energy which put me at ease. So thank you for the wonderful experience and I look forward to going back to put lashes on next time! Recently, I have visited the Lash and Sugar Company and I'm more than satisfied with their work. I have been getting eyelash extensions from the Lash and Sugar Company for about a month now, and I don't trust any other place. The Lash and Sugar Company offers a multitude of lash styles based on your personal preference. There are classic lashes and volume lashes, but the lash artists are capable of customizing the lash style towards your desires. The Lash and Sugar Company also offers additional devices such as eyebrow tinting, body sugaring, and tanning. I have not tried these additional services because I primarily go to get my eyelashes done. When entering the Lash and Sugar Company, you'll feel an immediate sense of positivity and support from the lash artists. All of the lash artists are phenomenal and have their licenses. I have gotten my lashes done by Sienna, Stephanie, and Olivia and they all do an exceptional job. The time of the eyelash process varies based on what type of service you get done, but the minimum amount of time it takes is 30 minutes. After the service, you are left feeling confident about your natural beauty. The eyelash extensions are not harmful to your natural lashes, but they do enhance them. I was very hestitant at first, so I had done a ton of research into places. Not only was this the place I decided on for quality, but turned out that it was also the most cost effective place as well!! I booked my appointment with Shannon, and it was the best experience I could have asked for. She was so sweet and super adorable! She made me feel so comfortable and really spent the time to get to know my lashes and exactly what I wanted. She had taken the time to explain the differences and options in what they had to find the perfect lash look that I wanted. The store was easy to find and very clean and cute inside. During the actual appointment, she was great to chat with which made it that much more of a quality first experience. She even spent some extra time, to make sure they were perfect. I could tell that her, along with other artists, really care about their work, what they do, and especially their clients. After we were done, she made sure to explain how to take care of my lashes to make them last, as well as to maintaining my natural lashes. I absolutely LOVE my lashes and I can't wait to go back for my touch up. When I walked into the Lash and Sugar Company for the first time my lashes were so damaged from a my first (private practice) lash technician. They were sparse, short... just awful. I wasn't even sure that anything could be done to salvage them but I dreaded walking around with no lashes. A friend regularly had her lashes done at Lash and Sugar Company and they always looked great so I decided I'd try them. The initial set was exactly what I hope for. Jessica was careful not to apply anything that might further damage my fragile lashes. I looked like I had lashes but, nothing dramatic, but it would allow me to leave the house without embarrassment and let in order to let my natural lashes grow back. I have since had 2 fills with Shannon and my lashes are growing in. We are still using the lightest lashes available but now they can be applied fuller. My lashes are recovering! The ladies are all very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. If this is your first time considering lashes. Please don't make the mistake I did and go with a group in deal to save money. Last Friday I finally joined the rest of the female species and got eyelash extensions. I have been really hesitant to try this because of my severe allergies, and I was afraid I would have a negative reaction and end up with swollen, watery eyeballs. After speaking to a few of my coworkers though, I finally mustered up the courage to give it a try. I choose The Lash and Sugar Company because two of my friends go there and have theirs done by Emily. I knew that she did amazing work just from seeing the results on my friends. I also knew that she would be able to customize the look to fit what I was looking for, because the work she does on each of my friends is very different from that of the other. I am so grateful that I finally gave this a try because I am beyond obsessed with my new lashes! Emily was fantastic! She was patient with me in explaining the process and she asked a ton of questions to ensure the result was exactly what I wanted. If you're looking to get your lashes done this is the place to go! There are no words to express how much of an amazing experience I've had since coming here. My girl Tatum has been doing my lashes since back in November of 2016 and she is amazing, very easy to talk to, I absolutely love her! During my first appointment at lash and sugar I explained to her how nervous I was because the first time I ever got my lashes done by another salon I had such a terrible experience. From the moment I opened my eyes it was burning, the lashes that were applied were constantly poking my eyes, it kept dropping, my eyes were always blood shot red, it was ridiculous! I didn't even last a week with them because they were so unbearable to have so I got them removed here at sugar and lash. A month later, I decided to give lash extensions a second chance but this time with lash and sugar. Tatum assured me that they apply lashes safely to each individual lash and at the end of my session I wouldn't feel a thing and sure enough I felt nothing but beautiful! I went in to The Lash and Sugar Company and truly had the best experience. I met with Emily and loved the results of both the eyelash extensions and the airbrush spray tan. My favorite thing about working with Emily is how real she is. She understands that it's kind of weird to have someone touching your face, and she makes sure you are more than comfortable. When she first put on my lashes, she was very good at telling me exactly what she was doing, and explaining the process, which a lot of estheticians forget to do. It's nice to be in the loop. I also love that she doesn't force you to talk during your appointment. She's friendly and is genuinely interested in what you have to say, but she also understands that sometimes you just want to close your eyes and relax. Getting a Spray Tan with Emily was easy and quick. I loved the results (no orange tints! ) and I loved how Emily didn't make me feel awkward even the slightest. I've come here twice now both times for level 1 full sets. I would come more often if I could afford it but because I can't I only due it before vacations! Both times were wonderful. The women were sweet and we had great conversations. They both took their time and I could tell they were not about getting the customers in and out as fast as they could, and they really took their time which is what I appreciate the most. The first time I had Lanna who was so awesome! I loved my lashes and because I can't afford to keep going back for a fill I decided to let them fall out naturally and they looked good for 3 full weeks before I had to start wearing mascara. When I put mascara on they didn't look patchy at all. I tried to book another appointment with Lanna but she was booked for the week that I wanted to go in so yesterday I was with Kayla who was equally as sweet and also did a wonderful job. Adriana, Adriana is far more talented than the lash artists I have been to! I am a 34 year old woman, Scared and ready for a eyelash fill let's just say and I was VERY nervous because of my past experiences not all bad but when I called The Lash and Sugar Company I WAS VERY HAPPY they had an OPENING SAME DAY! Wow wow wow for that I was already impressed but still nervous. Adriana was polite, gentle, good conversation. She took her time and listened to my requests SHE REALLY KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING!!! I had never had lash extensions done prior to coming here. Lanna did a great job. Although they do fall out quicker than I had hoped, I am still in love with them. I like the dramatic look, so I got the volume set. She even feathered out the ends so I have a cat-eye look without the liner. Love it! Things that they'll tell you to do once you get them done: always use an oil-free cleanser, oil-free makeup products and do not get the lashes wet for the first 24 hours (for the adhesive). Also, try not to touch them too much, as the oil on your fingers can cause the adhesive to weaken. I am in love with lash extensions now. I wake up, wash my face, pencil the eyebrows and that's it! No more mascara and eyeliner taking up so much of my time in the morning (I am a perfectionist, so it really did take up a lot of time for that dang cat-eye!). :) I highly recommend trying lash extensions. And these ladies are great! read more

I had never gotten eyelash extensions before so I was a little nervous initially, but I am so glad I got them!! I am absolutely IN LOVE with my new lashes. The shop is the cutest and coziest from the moment you walk in. Vanessa did my full set for me and was very informative and friendly. She said she had been doing lashes for 10 years and she explained to me the entire process and completely eased my nerves. She was so easy to talk to and she was so gentle that I hardly felt her applying the lashes at all. The under eye pad that she used was great! I was a little worried that it might irritate my sensitive skin, but it didn't bother my skin at all and was actually comfortable. My appointment was very relaxing and I am already looking forward to going back. Love love LOVE this place! I have had appointments for sugaring and lashes, and both were a fantastic experience. Shannon is amazing, and seriously is an artist at what she does. I have been apprehensive in the past about getting lash extensions (I didn't want that spidery, heavy, over-done look) but she created the exact cat-eye-mascara look I wanted. You can tell as she gets to know you on her table, that she really reads you as a person and what style fits you best. All the girls there make you feel welcome and comfortable from check-in to check-out, and they never make you feel like you have to buy anything. I have had my lashes on for a week now, and they still look fantastic and have been so easy to take care of. There is no stickiness, and my eyelids don't feel heavy. The quality of products used here is clearly good, and I am totally hooked. Highly recommend this place! read more

I could not say a single bad thing about this place! Not only is the atmosphere comforting and super cute; the people are also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had been to a different salon for my lash extensions before and they had caused a lot of damage to my lashes. When I called to get some info they went into detail what each level of lashes was. They recommended me to do the volume full set due to the damage my lashes had. Lanna was who has been doing my lashes and she is absolutely amazing! She is super friendly and keeps the conversation going during the process. My lashes are so full and soft and I see far less fall out than I did with lashes from a different salon. As I get my fills they look fuller and fuller because my lashes are becoming healthier even with lashes on! I recommend Lanna to everyone I run into and get complimented on my lashes all the time!! read more

The first time I have been to this salon to get my lashes done! The experience was amazing! Adriana was professional and explained the process including showing pictures of different styles. After about 2 hours and a wonderful nap , my lashes looked great and I received many compliments! The important thing to know however when you get your lashes done is to understand your hair cycle and your lashes do grow and fall out eventually. After a few days, I had some gaps in my lashes but with no hesitation, the officer manager got me back into the salon to fix the spaces and once again my lashes looked great! If you are looking to get your lashes done, I would highly recommend The Lash & Sugar Company! The price is comparable to other locations HOWEVER, I am a firm believer that service also comes with a price and the salon superseded my expectations read more

This is my first time getting lash extensions and cannot express the importance of doing a little research before hand. I read tons of other places reviews close to my area and The Lash and Sugar Co had some of the best reviews and decided to give them a try. The girls here are very friendly, outgoing, professional and upbeat. The salon is super cute and very clean. I had the pleasure of having Shannon do my first set. Shannon made me feel welcomed and very comfortable. She answered all my questions and ensured I understood the process since it was my first time. She took her time and made sure my lashes were perfect and to my liking. It was definitely beyond what I expected. I moved here from Colorado after having the same lash lady for 3.5 years, tried a couple of places with NO retention and terrible experiences. I got Selena as a referral from my Mom & I basically fell in love. We had a total blast, not once did I burn and honestly I didn't feel like she was doing anything( she's a lash ninja). I had the most sexual ( youre welcome for introducing you to the adjective you didn't know you needed ) SET Ever! I walked in today after 2 weeks with SUPER FULL lashes. I couldn't say enough good things about this place and she's stuck with me forever. Vanessa answered all of my questions upon booking the appointment and eased all of my concerns about maintenance and losing my real lashes (it's been almost 3 weeks - I have camped, partied, and cried, and I can happily report that my natural lashes are safe). I chose the volume lashes and was worried that I would get antsy during the almost 2.5 hours the application would take. Vanessa was fun to talk to and made the time fly! Not nervous as in getting it done, just nervous as in that it wouldn't work because I've tried every product under the sun and my lashes point down. Alyssa was amazing! There's no other word for it. Not only is she an amazing artist, and very professional what she does, she is fast, has precision, it can carry on a conversation with me who was very much a chatterbox because I was nervous. It's hard to find a sugaring place that actually has reviews and I had been wanting to try it for awhile. I tried another place but the esthetician wasn't very friendly and the experience was disappointing. When I scheduled with Emily it was so different. When I came in the salon was elegant and clean. Emily made me feel super comfortable while getting my service done and was just so friendly without being fake. She was quick and finished both appointments on time. I highly recommend her for sugaring. But the best part is how much less sugaring hurts than waxing.
