this store used to be so great but it has gone downhill the last several years. I'm always on time & always but wax passes and have been coming here for over 11 years. My waxer is late almost every single appointment. I drive 30 minutes to get there & am always early. I wish this store cared about their customers and instead of constantly pushing my appointment back, you guys should make late guest go to another waxer to give me the decency of calling me and rescheduling. I arrived as a new customer 20 minutes early, expecting to fill out paperwork. The receptionist was very pleasant and explained the strict 9-minute late policy, then scanned my driver's license (I wasn't sure why that was required). While I waited, three other customers were taken back even though my appointment time had already passed by about 10 minutes. When I asked about the delay, I was told they were running behind. I agreed to continue waiting, but after a significant additional amount of time, I decided to cancel my appointment and leave. If customers are expected to follow a strict punctuality policy, the business should hold itself to the same standard. Respect for customers' time should go both ways read more

I had a really frustrating experience with the front desk today Thursday September 4th. I called this morning at 10:54am to reschedule my appointment and was given a new time of 12:15 PM with a waxer named Tiffany. When I showed up for my appointment, the front desk told me I was never scheduled and they couldn't fit me in. This was extremely inconvenient. They told me to come back at 2:45 PM. When I returned, I spoke to the manager, who is named Paige. I was really disappointed with her response; she didn't seem to care about the mix-up or my inconvenience. On a positive note, my waxer was amazing! I believe her name was also Paige (or something very similar). She was kind and did a wonderful job. I would absolutely recommend her, but the front desk's lack of professionalism and really made this a disappointing visit. read more

Haven't been waxed since June 2022 - judge someone else - not me ‍ Despite this fact, Mikayla did a GREAT job getting all the hair and talking me through the process IRT possibly pain and distracting me because of the pain. My eyebrows had been overgrown for about six months, and I was looking into different places to go and the European wax center popped up. I really like that my first wax was free, I just tipped the professional. I made an appointment around 1230 for 2 o'clock that day with Jess. It was really nice that I was able to get in that day, and just had many good reviews on yelp. The facility was clean, the girls at the front were helpful and Jess described everything she was doing before. Before she started Jess asked me what shape I was looking for in my eyebrows and my preference. She did I good job. My eyebrows weren't transformed but for the price it was worth it. Everyone was really sweet and welcoming, plus I got half off my Brazilian as a new client but the day after I woke up with so many painful postules. I get waxed to avoid ingrown hairs and very disappointed that now on day too more popped up. I know my hair was really thick but I think waxing over the same place over and over may have contributed. I got Lindsay and she was super nice. It's not the most comfortable thing to do and its super awkward!! She made me feel comfy and was great with communication. She explained everything! The staff here are great, but I am disappointed with my Brazilian wax. After my appointment, I went home to inspect the wax job with a mirror. There were two big patches of hair that were completely missed on both sides! I'm sitting here trying to tweeze them myself, but the patches are in a spot that isn't easily accessible. Kind of annoyed, considering the total (after i tipped 18%) was around $75. My waxer didn't even use tweezers to get the stray hairs. Whenever I get a Brazilian at other waxing places, tweezing is standard. I also had to tweeze those. The whole wax job just seems kind of rushed/sloppy. :( read more

First visit. The place is clean, smells good, the staff was friendly and also helpful. Of course they want to upsell you on product but a simple no is all that is needed. The lady that serviced me was friendly and we chatted the entire time which made the visit quick and painless. I set up another appointment, they made it sound like you save $ from doing it that way instead of just walking in. Also I referred a friend and got $ off my visit. Feel free to tell them I convinced you to try it hahaha I usually wax myself but it was quicker and less cleanup for me. The wax they use is a hard wax hybrid. It didn't leave a sticky mess when done which is nice. They use a new stick every time they dip which is much appreciated because when waxing you don't want to know what goes back into the warming pot. Again the service was great and I knew what to expect but I will be 100% honest I am NOT happy at ALL with the results . Same as other people have mentioned , girl kept waxing me on the same spot 3Xs, and slowly . I came home to check the work and I still had hairs :( I was so upset , since my original wax lady (not from here ) always waxes me so good! I absolutely would not recommend this wax center to anyone. They charge way too high. They did half a job but still charged me full price for an entire area that wasnt even waxed. The hard wax will most likely not sit well with people with sensitive skin. I later developed lots of in grown hair and some skin break outs. read more

So... my gf convinced me to go get waxed with her. And when I say waxed I mean alllllll the goods... front and back. I wasn't too happy about it but why not let's do this. Ladies at the front were super nice and told me they were doing it free because it's a new service that started offering (waxing males) and needed the experience and get the word out there. Figured why not I'm down to spread the word and give them some experience. How much different from a wax job on a woman can it be? So anyways they tell me to not trim, they will trim me down to the length they need (I'm rocking a full bush at this time). I show up and it's a trainer and a trainee. They trim me with scissors to about an inch long and I ask if it should be shorter (I'm no wax expert but I thought it had to be about 1/4"-1/2") trainer says "no that's fine" I'm cool with it this is their field of expertise. First couple strips along the edges painful but as expected. Then came the part right above my fella on the pubic bone... she went to yank and the wax didn't come off, felt like homie was being pulled right off. Then they just kept trying over and over kept saying "just one more time" and not a single hair came off but the pain was 2-3x as bad. The trainer finally took over and same thing. After each girl tried 3-4 times each, the trainer was like "well this has never happened before" and then went to pull again. Sorry but I just couldn't handle it anymore. Holy crap. I told them to stop and give me the scissors so I can just cut the hairs off under the wax. They asked if they could do it, I said sure and I laid back. Next thing I know she's yanking again!!! No! I sat up took the scissors and just carefully cut the wax off. The whole time the trainer is saying "we don't recommend that" I'm sorry but your recommendations don't hold much weight anymore. I got all the wax off without issue after some time carefully cutting it off. They then had the audacity to ask if they can even it out by doing the other side... absolutely not!!! We are done here! During that time the trainee asked the trainer if the hair should of been shorter but the trainer insisted no. Personally I believe this extremely painful experience would not of happened if the hair would of been trimmed shorter but I'm not sure since I have minimal experience with this. I'll let you more experienced people make that judgement. Either way they should not of just kept yanking when the first 2 times did nothing except inflict excruciating pain. Didn't have the decency to apologize or show any remorse. I personally will never go back and likely never try waxing again. Recommend if you're a male stay clear. I will on the other hand mention my gf had no such experience and was pleased (again much shorter hair). So I can't say they are all bad but they will never lay hands on my fellas ever again. It's been 4 hours and I'm still extremely tender in the region where they couldn't pull the hair off. Please pray for me Update: it's been about 36hrs after said appointment and the pain is finally starting to subside. read more

Ugh I have to update my review here as I just had a terrible experience after my wax done on Sunday with Elizabeth? First off, I have been getting waxes for a few years now so this is not my first rodeo. I usually have another waxer who is fantastic but cannot remember her name right now in my frenzied mode. Anyways, the point is I know a good wax when I get one The waxer waxed me multiple times in the same area leaving the area feeling very raw and hot from the wax. Two days later, I get boils all over and my lymph nodes are going nuts with fever and chills. Yes, I've exfoliated. Yes, I've used the serum. Went to the doctor and prescribed some Bactrim for a bacterial skin infection. Still recovering right now ugh. Overall, such a disappointing experience! read more
