Wow, I have been getting waxed at European Wax Center for over a decade! For most of that time, I have seen Kathleen for my eyebrows. She is fantastic! At this point, she can basically read my mind for my brow needs, but, even so, she always ensures I am happy with the shape and length of my eyebrows. When Kathleen is not available (rare, because I book appointments ahead of time), I am never worried, because all of the waxers that I have seen are professional and friendly. Besides the high quality service that Kathleen provides, I love EWC because of the wax passes. Yes, prices have gone up (especially, in the age of inflation the last few years), but it is still worth it for me. I get my eyebrows waxed every 2 weeks, so the unlimited wax pass just makes sense. However, I also like the fact that there are wax passes with limited quantity. And they never expire! Seriously, I purchased a 7 lip wax pass back in 2020 for my wedding and engagement photos, but it is not a service I regularly use. I still have some lip waxes in my account, and I can use them as needed (like for special occasions). This particular EWC always seems busy with men and women bustling in and out for appointments, and the traffic has taken its toll on the lobby furniture. The lobby could use a bit of TLC, but everything is still clean and functional, if a little worn. Overall, I am still in love with EWC! Love the treatment I get at European Wax center. You're always welcomed upon entering a thanked when you were leaving. they always ask you if everything was satisfactory, if they can address any concerns which I appreciate. My anesthetician normally is Lynn who is great, today I had an appointment with Caitlin. they were able to actually get me in 15 minutes early before my appointment which is always welcome as I always arrive early. The service was great, I do have two of the plans which I was able to get on a special deal and it is always easy to make an appointment and to get in and out. I've been going to EWC for several months now and overall, I'm happy with my experience. This review is only based on the Brazilian wax service. First off--the wax. I absolutely love the wax. I've been getting Brazilians for years so I can't say what it's like for a first-timer, but for me and the experiences I've had, this wax is the only one that doesn't irritate my skin. Secondly, the staff. I've tried several aestheticians just to see who I fit well with and to my surprise, many are pretty good. Very nice, friendly to talk to and have several years of experience which puts your mind at ease (especially in such sensitive areas) that you have someone who knows what they are doing. Thirdly, the price. Waxing is something you need to keep doing for the best results so I bought their pre-paid packages (Buy 9, get 3 free). Yeah it's a lot up front (you can split in 4 payments) in the end, you save a lot of money on something you are gonna do anyways so why not? Plus, they don't expire so if you skip a month it's ok. There's also other perks like if you schedule your next appointment at the front desk, you earn points that you can use towards their products. They also have a lot of sales on their products. The only product I've used is the body polish which I like cause it leaves your skin really soft after a shower. One thing I really like is their website. You can schedule your appointments and select day/time/ aesthetician you like. On your profile, you can see past appointments and who you had, future appointments, and products you've purchased. If you have a pass , it will show how many times you've used it and how many you have left. Super convenient. My one and only complaint would be location. I WISH there was a location in Fallon or at least Fernley cause it's a far drive for me but oh well. read more

The wax was great, and Kera was attentive, making sure the wax was a good temp and that I was happy with the results. My biggest problem is that the front desk either 1) doesn't know what "No" means or 2) corporate pushes them to sell wax passes or in-store booking. I honestly try not to go to EWC because every time I do, I get the "buy a wax pass" or "book now with us for points." I'm very polite in saying no thank you, but it usually takes saying "NO" 4 or 5 times for them to stop pushing whatever it is. Please learn to respect the word no. read more

I'm updating my review to 5 stars. I've been going here for years--since they first opened. Every year I buy the wax pass in January for brows and come in for unlimited waxes for the calendar year and it's a great deal. They always have same day appointments available if I want to move my next scheduled date sooner. And every time you prebook you get a $1 credit that adds on your account that you can use for products or treatments. (PS--I save mine for their brow powder, it's so good). Anyway it's January 2021 and I'm expecting to need to renew my annual wax pass. WELL! Because of the pandemic last year where they closed their doors for a couple of months, they told me today that I didn't need to renew until this May. See? This is the RIGHT thing to do--but they did it without asking. That's awesome. I appreciate the integrity of their business practice and their appreciation for their customers. They could have screwed us over (like UNR parking services and just been like "sad day, it sucks for all of us) but they didn't. And I am ever so appreciative. read more

I just had an amazing experience with Julie. I've been coming here for at least 4 months and the service is always good, but she was honestly a phenomenal personality AND very thorough. She helped me out with a Brazilian and everything was done timely and smoothly. I have very thick hair so she really payed attention to that, noticed, and was careful to get everything from the root. Had a good experience. My daughter need a last minute bikini wax for vacation. Luckily we were able to walk in and be seen within 10 min. front desk was nice. gave us the low down on subscription services. they weren't overly pushy about it so that was good. They do offer a free was on your first visit, so that is a nice touch. the technician that did the wax was nice. explained the process to my daughter since it was her first. while this is not my first choice to go, it is convenient since they have several technicians that can help, and short notice appointments are not usually a problem. read more

The service and staff here is FANTASTIC, patient, friendly, and efficient. I've been coming here for the past 7 months and absolutely love the experience. Lured in by a mailer, I have never had anything waxed before in my life. The appointment was easy to schedule and they reconfirm the day before. The front house is very store like - stark white and simple. The back has just a little more decor and color. Check in was easy. I went back early, a bonus to me- I hate having an appointment and then kept waiting. I chose eyebrows for my free trial- zip zip zip and done. Easier than I expected. And was back up front in 10 minutes. Checking out was a little more awkward for me. I felt a little pushed towards selecting a future package. The packages looked great but hard to make a sudden decision at the end of my day when I just want to head home. I did get a brow package that I paid for 9 and 12 total. I felt I was a good deal. European Wax is a solid place to get your waxing needs taken care of. It is easy to book appointments online or via the phone. I never have had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting area. Their services are not too expensive. Although the waxers and the front desk staff encourage you to buy their beauty products and a multi-use service package every single visit, they are not too pushy about it once you express reservation, as I always do. How much one's service hurts definitely depends on the skill of the waxing professional. Before Amy left, she was the one who did my Brazilians, and damn, did she do a great job. $80 (tip included) well spent every 3.5 weeks. Yes, it is a bit painful, but it is a short experience of pain and the results are worth it. But after she left, I had some experiences that were not quite as awesome. The last time I got my eyebrows waxed, it was sooo painful, which is saying a lot for someone who doesn't think full Brazilians are that bad. Now I don't live close to the location, so I get my eyebrows waxed elsewhere. And I figured my $80 x 3.5 week lady bizness waxing regime was getting a little too pricy given my overall financial goals at the moment. I have been coming to European Wax Center regularly for a few months now. Stephanie makes me feel so comfortable, and I don't think I would ever see anybody else. Getting a Brazilian can be very... intimate, and you feel very exposed. But, Stephanie is quick, and talks to you, so it's easy (as easy as it can be) to not think about the fact that you've got someone all up in your private areas! The first wax does feel like a bit of a sales pitch. Everyone tries selling you products and packages, but once you get passed that, the rest don't feel that way. I also understand it's probably the company that pushes it, the staff just do what they're told. But, the first wax is $25, so you can't complain. I never struggle with finding a time that fits my schedule, as they always have opening. Which is really nice for someone like me who's schedule is always all over the place. I've always heard great reviews of this place so I decided to go in today. It was my first time getting a Brazilian wax. The people at the front desk were unprofessional and talking to each other before helping me. I showed up early and they still started by telling me about their 9 minute rule. It seemed like they just wanted to sell me the wax pass before I had even gotten in and gotten the wax or was informed about how anything would work. Once I got in to get the wax, the lady was rude and didn't explain to me how anything would work despite me saying I was nervous and hadn't gotten one before. I also informed her I have sensitive skin and she just responded like it wasn't a big deal at all and told me that their wax is okay for everybody's skin. My skin got very irritated and red. Towards the end, she stopped and asked me if she should keep trying to wax the remaining parts because my skin was getting irritated like I told her it would. She was very unprofessional during the wax and didn't do any aftercare. I left with wax still all over me and sticking to my underwear. I left very uncomfortable and unsure if I'll ever want to return and get another wax. read more
