I have loved this wax place up to this point and I want to caveat that potentially this person did not realize how they were coming across. However, I am not sure I will go back after the sassy messages received regarding cancelling an appointment I had made clear I would not be at. this person then proceeded to tell me I was essentially wrong which is interesting when looking back at the initial messages. Quality customer service is hard to come by these days. Unfortunately, I was on a ranch without service for the holidays and felt chastised by this anonymous person for not being able to call and reschedule after I said I would not be in attendance the day prior. I've been going here for years. Got my first wax here and everything. This have gone absolutely horrible this past year. Since Heather left, I switch to Kaylynn and things were going well until one day I showed up for my appointment and was told she didnt and doesn't work that day anymore. Okay so no one was going to call me to reschedule? No apologies and just rescheduled me 2 weeks later. Then I get a call that day she's out. At that point I'm thankful I got a call at least. Rescheduled for another week. Finally got my appointment, no apologies and things were a little awkward. I made another appointment for later. Tell me why that one needed to be rescheduled too. I then decided to switch to Teresa. She was good. My second time seeing her today and she never came out after waiting 30 minutes, I left without being seen. It's understandable to be a little behind but my appointment time was OVER when I decided to leave. Unfortunately I have time restraints too. Yall expect me to confirm my appointment and be on time but you cant do the same. Obviously if this was a one time thing i would give it more chances but its too many wrong things to gaslight myself into being understanding more. I wont be back. And I decided to try this new establishment and it turned out to be the worst experience charging 21$ to get waxed and ended up with my eyelid burned! Now I look like I got socked in the Eye. I scheduled an appointment here for my 11 year old daughter to get her eyebrows waxed (to just have them cleaned up a tiny bit), because the waxologist she's gone to before in Round Rock was booked. I asked my waxologist (in Austin, convenient to my office) a while back if she could wax my daughter's brows and she said no problem; it's just that she's not as close to our house. Anyway, we went to European Wax Center yesterday and they asked if my daughter was 12 or older. I said no and the front office person said they couldn't wax her brows because of her age. Ridiculous! I'm her mother, I don't understand what the big deal is. I told the employee that their website and booking process said nothing about the age issue. I tried calling numerous times to inform them I was running late for my appointment. Not sure if their phone system isn't working or needs updated? I still drove all the way to this location & called a few times on the way to see if they still could get me in 10 mins late. No answer and the automated message repeated at least 5 times. I arrived and the girl said I was past the 9 min mark & fully booked for today. There were only 2 people in the waiting area so not sure why the receptionist couldn't answer my phone calls even if it were to place me on hold a few mins. I was glad they were able to get me in the same day! I called and I was able to book an appointment for an hour later and because I was new to this place I received 50% off which was a good deal. Their location was clean and I was greeted by the receptionist and given paperwork to fill out. Don't worry the paperwork they give you is not a pain. I was taken back right on time which honestly I was not expecting since I had booked so last minute. The esthetician was professional, made small talk, and it was quick and as painless as possible. They have wax passes and can do payment plans to pay for your wax passes which is convenient and can save you money if you're consistent with your waxes. After I was done they were friendly checked me out and I was on my way. Since I'm moving back I'll for sure be coming back to this location. read more

I didn't exactly expect to find myself having my first Brazilian at age 40 But, there I was, terrified and second guessing everything about my life. Thank goodness for Maddie!! She called me back, and I told her I wasn't so sure this was a great idea. She was understanding, told me she believed in me, but that she would stop any time I wanted to. Folks, I ain't gonna lie, that first time was hard. "Ooh, you have very big hair follicles. That probably hurts a lot," she said. Yes. Yes, it did. But I powered through, certain I'd never see Maddie's kind face again. At least, not in this setting. She was great, though. She explained every step she was doing, kept me talking the whole time so I didn't lose my sh%t, and gave me some really good skin care tips that would help make waxing easier next time. Next time. Hah, I thought. Except, the results were amazing. Two weeks later I hardly had any regrowth. Three weeks later I though, maybe I could do that again. Four weeks later I went back to see Maddie. She knew I'd be back with all that "next time" talk and she was not wrong. And you know what, the next time was so not a big deal, just like she said. And her skin care tips really did help. I had no ingrown hairs and my skin is looking healthier. I'm glad she's my esthetician and I can't recommend her highly enough. My first time getting a Brazilian was and I was very disappointed. My visit was 10 or 15 minutes the most, I bought a couple of items the girl recommended and went home. I was in pain after the wax for about 20 minutes and after that I checked and she left like 30% of hair everywhere. The hair roots were all there 100%, when I touched the skin I could feel the stubs and in certain areas she didn't even wax. I don't have stubborn hair because I wax other areas myself. When she asked me to turn around and hold my butt cheeks open I wondered how she would get the hair around the area? But being my first time I trusted she knew what she was doing. I don't know how people come back. I certainly will not be back. I hope this review helps others not waste their time or money in this place. read more

I came in for a lip wax and it was more painful than other waxes I've had since the technician put wax on my sensitive upper lip three or four times. She also didn't pull it in one go but several small jerks. I asked why it took so many tries and she just said that she was trying to get more hair. Which is funny because when I came home and looked in the mirror under a bright light (which she did not use there, strangely) there were a ton of stray hairs left. Dark ones! I've had to pluck every day since I went. I'm pretty disappointed with this experience and will look for another waxing service. read more

I had to come on here and brag about Carly. I am Autistic and waxing can be really hard for me sensory wise but in the end it's less stressful then ingrown hairs from shaving. Carly was so kind, listened, and asked questions. She also gave me an opportunity to take small breaks when needed. I had a good experience here for a brazilian wax. Meesha was very efficient and friendly. It was painful, but that's the nature of the procedure. They also got me in the schedule quickly. I can't remember the name of the girl in the front, but she was very polite. Some words of advice. 1)Don't follow the Google directions.
