I will never go anywhere else to get my brows done. The process was quick, easy, and the technician really listened to what my preference was. Since it was a few weeks before my wedding I was a little nervous, I mean hey... that's a lot of pressure! But she nailed it and I couldn't have been happier with the result. I'm always a little cautious about getting my eyebrows done - it's your face, after all, and I've had a few terrible experiences. I gave Syndey and Brow Bar a try a few months ago so that I could see if it might work for my wedding. I was not disappointed! Syndey really takes her time, listens to what you want and gets it consistently perfect every time. I've been through several appointments, and I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. I especially want to note that I booked her a month in advance for the day before my wedding (I had too many other appointments the wedding day itself) with neither of us realizing it would end up being her day off that week. She called and asked if it was possible to schedule me another day that week, but if not, that she would come in just for me. As it turned out, I had a ton of meetings at work that week, and I knew I wouldn't be able to duck out for an appointment in Round Rock. We talked over the phone, and she was so sweet and understanding, and had no problem keeping it. My appointment went smoothly as always, but I am especially thankful that she went above and beyond by coming in on her day off just to be sure I was ready for The Big Day. Great experience overall. I've tried to get in for weeks. I work 8-5 like most and they never have availability. I stopped by at 5.10 today,waited for brow specialist to quit chatting and asked if she could a walk in. If you are at your wits end with trying to get your brows the perfect shape for your face, GO HERE and ask for Lauren. She measured my face and marked out how my brows should look and then waxed around that. She said this was their brow rehabilitation process. So every time you go they would measure and wax exactly the same in order for your brows to grow in all the way. I was left loving my brows, they're how I've always wanted them to be! I have had a hard time finding someone to do my brows in Texas. Usually I wait till I go back to my forever home in California where I have one of the best! But I stopped in to Ulta and got them done at the Benefit Brow Bar. It was awesome Lauren did a amazing job. So I like to keep them regularly groomed. Called a few weeks ago booked a appt with Lauren. Few days later someone called to cancel she wasent there anymore I was bummed! But I hunted, hunted cause terrific brow artists are hard to come by and I found her. I have been waxing my brows since I was 12 because of my thick eyebrows and she also has thick brows and DEFINITELY understands how to do thick brows because of it! Bad experience at the Ulta at La Frontera Village in Round Rock, TX. A couple of weeks ago, I was in the Ulta store with my granddaughter and a salesperson approached me about a "free" makeup event on July 24th. I signed up for 4pm appointments for me and for my granddaughter. I do realize that "free" means they put makeup on you then try to sell you something. No objection to that concept, and I had every intent to make a purchase. At 4pm on July 24th, my granddaughter and I went in for our appointments. There were a couple of other guests getting makeup applied. Two adult women and two girls ages 10 or younger. The one girl at the counter confirmed our 4pm appointments, and offered to start working with my 13-year-old granddaughter and while another person came over to work with me. 4:10pm came and went -- no one came over, 4:20pm came and went -- no one came over. No one even followed up with me to see if there was something I needed. I did have one associate say "excuse me" to me as I was standing in his way. As I stood there and watched 3 little girls and 2 adults receiving their "free" makeup applications, I wondered how much potential revenue these makeup artists/salespeople would be making during their 4pm appointments. By 4:24pm, my granddaughter's makeup session was over. Still no one even asked how they could help me. I just left...............a very unsatisfied customer. It wasn't that I missed out on a free makeup session that upset me. It was the horrible customer service I received. As a salesperson myself, I was also very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from the makeup staff. They were doing a disservice to Ulta as well as to their customer. 10-13 year old girls do not make the type of purchases this "free" makeup event was targeted toward. Adults who come in for 4pm appointments do. And it is those same buying adults that after a bad experience at Ulta, go to Sephora in the future. read more

I have been going to Ki for over 4 months and before receiving her services I had NEVER had my brows professionally done!! Ki has been amazing and delightful every time since day 1, and I have been super impressed by her astonishing work. I have never been big into paying someone to do my eyebrows, especially more than once, but I have been and continue to be so impressed with Ki and her creativity with my brows that I go back at least every 3 weeks!!! totally worth the time and money, not only do you look and feel like a million bucks, but you get to have a friendly conversation with a lovely lady who loves her job and is there to make her customers happy! No. Just No. The drawn on brow is a beauty industry standard. My brow has a scar across it and I'm not beauty industry standard stuff. Just a normal nice looking person. My brow was waxed away. Took months to grow back. I love Ulta and perhaps this well rehearsed beauty service is good for those with thick brows like my daughter...(the reason I was there in the first place)...but use extreme caution if you have blondish brows and/or scars that impact growth. read more
