WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY WHOLE LIFE! I have had the worst experience of my life. I had an appointment with Eliana. Had an appointment for waxing my full legs, and she said , she doesnt like Round rock location of Hello Sugar Salon as they do not usually keep the things in right place. There was no adequate quantity of wax present at the location and when I asked her do you have more, she said - she will have to go to other room and refill and she wasnt really positive about it. She used the wax dispenser with very less wax , kept pressing hard on my legs which was hurting me bad. I complained about it 2-3 times and she mentioned its my skin and not the wax dispensor. It was actually her trying squeeze out as much as wax as one could, so pressing hard gave me bruises. Finally the wax was finished and she asked me if I am ok to use Sugaring for legs, I wasn't so comfortable with Sugar on legs. But since there was no wax present at that location, I agreed for Sugaring. Sugaring was not so good or nicely done and was really painful. Seriously, when a customer complaints - a basic courtesy is to make sure the customer is comfortable instead of considering one's own's convenience. I never expected this experience from Hello Sugar. The one location at Cedar park was really good and the girl was considerate I do not remember her name. But Eliana wasn't really considerate infact she was trying to get the work done. Due to this unwelcoming experience, I will never ever recommend my friends/family to Hello Sugar. I do have pictures of my legs which got bruised and red infront of her. But I will not share them due to privacy reasons. I would really like the owner of Hello Sugar should read it and teach basic culture of the Hello Sugar to their employees. Otherwise, even if other employees have basic courtesy and mannerisms, they will be overlooked by such employees. I wonder why can't you have basic supplies at hand for employees to use? I will never ever go to this hopeless Salon again. I never got such bad treatment as a customer and I am really very very unsatisfied with the service. I had an appointment with Carmesha. I was only a few minutes late and I was still waiting for her with another client. I knocked on the door twice. She answered with a rude tone "wait" which made me feel very uncomfortable, so I told her I would reschedule for another time. She was taking her time with her previous client, all while during my allot appointment time which was supposed to be reserved for me. I wouldn't recommend this esthetician. The girl that said this place felt super unwelcoming did not lie. I had a Brazilian with a girl named Carmesha. She barely spoke and didn't bother to ease the tension, even though my whole vag was literally in her face. It's only my second time getting a brazilian, so I'm still checking out different salons, and this one definitely isn't it. I have had multiple estheticians throughout my experience with Hello Sugar. Carmesha is my go to girl now and I wouldn't change her for the world! other reviewers on here I guess are expecting her to kiss their a** when they walk in but that is not my girl lol. Carmesha literally will greet you and then likes to get right to work, that's just her work style. I was sent to her after my first regular esthetician quit and I can agree, the first time was a little awkward and not much convo but I promise you all, my girl will open up to you. We went from small talk to her witnessing my whole pregnancy journey. She's usually fully booked especially on the weekends so there are times she is just in the zone trying to get through everyone, so we may not talk as much but I promise you ladies if you open up to her, you guys will see she's nothing like these reviewers are making her out to be. She is also very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for your skin and she is well rounded in trades and does lashes as well. If you're looking for a place with a nice atmosphere and real energy then just give it a shot. The worse that can happen is you go someplace else. read more

Super unwelcoming. Walked in the room and didn't say hi or anything she just immediately said "You're ****?" and told us to follow her to another room. Had attitude and as first timers, she wasn't even trying to make us feel comfortable and just went straight to it. Not much words were exchanged and if there were it was very short and dry. She left behind sooo many hairs and didn't do cleanup strips or give us any after care advice (exfoliating, moisturizing, etc.) and just told us where to pay. My appointment went horribly, I was there over an hour (a typical appt is only 20-30 mins) The person I am used to seeing, Carmesha, was busy so I had a new girl by the name of Raven. She was kind and I don't dislike her, but seemed she didn't know how to sugar. I have bruises and scars from all of the pulling she was doing trying to remove the sugar, which I have never experienced and I have been doing this for at least 7 years(different place). The sugar sat on my skin for a ridiculous amount of time because she couldn't figure out how to get it off. She blamed the temp in the room, which made no sense given I had come many times during the winter when they had the heat blasting. She had to go get another tech (Carmesha) to help her finish the service. When she came in to help, she was able to take 5 mins to do what it took Raven 40 mins to do. She blamed the sugar consistency and body temperature but clearly Carmesha could do it in the same temp. I still have some hairs where there shouldn't be because Carmesha had a client in her room so she left Raven to finish it up, poorly. She gave me a discount of 25% but that appointment should be free. The time, the discomfort, the aggravation...I am VERY DISSATISFIED, and when reaching out to their staff, I got the same excuses so I canceled my next appointment. I also wanted to cancel my membership, only to find that they FREEZE the membership indefinitely, not cancel. Which means my information is still in their system. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! read more
