She would rather inject less botox, wait for the results and then have you return if you need more rather than do too much, and have the client left with bad results for months. I loved this about her and agreed! I've have experienced droopy eyelid several times here in Virginia from estheticians doing too much botox, so I really prefer to do less botox up front and then tweak it later with more if needed. Dr. Guarda was never pushy and didn't try to sell me a bunch of products and or services irrelevant to the reason I was there. She just addressed my botox concerns and worked her magic. She did draw up the botox directly in front of me - which I highly recommend to anyone getting botox! You have a right to know you are getting the Botox you are paying for and not the cheaper form. There were no ice packs before/during/after treatment. However, her injections were gentle and I didn't experience any swelling, discomfort or bruising.

Fast forward to May 1st, I notice I have been charged $140 each month since January from MassageLuxe! I draft an email, send it to my local store, and call the center the following day. They state they will forward the request to regional manager. The regional manager calls me later that day and says they have no record of my cancellation. How convenient. Turns out they do not send receipts for cancellations. Ah ha! The regional manager says she can understand how I may think this is tedious but they need records of me cancelling, it's just business. Excuse me, well why maintain the record if you can just continue to charge me right? She stated "I signed a business agreement that states that I would cancel in writing". Why did the location tell me to cancel in person? I did that already! This is completely unfair. I then ask to speak to her manager. They do not give out their number she states, but would email on my behalf and follow up perhaps Monday. I'll update if they do so. Side note, when I had a membership the massages always started late, which caused the service to be shorter. I would wait in the waiting room sometimes 10-15 minutes after my massage start time.
